The Marketing and Communications Department
Battersea’s Marketing & Communications department is responsible for communicating the breadth of the organisation’s work in an engaging and memorable way. Free Tibet is a small but effective campaign organisation based in south London. We’re looking for a Fundraising Manager who can transform our routine fundraising and lead expert strategies for income generation. This role is best suited to an experienced solo fundraiser who is confident in managing multiple streams of income, but we welcome applications from any fundraiser with a diverse skillset and collaborative way of working.

Job Description
Fundraising
- Oversee all income-generation activity across Free Tibet and Tibet Watch. Ensure continuous improvement and innovation and an appropriate balance of fundraising activity across all streams. Current streams include postal appeals, online appeals, and the Free Tibet online shop.
- Manage applications for grant funding on behalf of both Free Tibet and Tibet Watch, working with the Fundraising Officer to build a strong portfolio of five and six-figure grants and steward them for renewal.
- Lead on the recruitment and retention of donors, especially Major Donors, and redevelop supporter journeys and stewardship programs.
- Evaluate new ideas for income generation and strategies for implementation, especially corporate and challenge events / community fundraising.
- Impact reporting of fundraising activity and the performance of quarterly appeals, with a view to improve internal processes for greater income innovation and ROI.
- Liaise with the Free Tibet Campaigns & Research Teams to ensure that campaigning, digital and fundraising activities are seamlessly coordinated.
- Managing relationships with third party agencies, like mailing services and digital mobilisation agencies, making sure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standard.
- Ensure that our new Client Relationship Management (CRM) system, Raiser’s Edge NXT, is used effectively and to its full potential.
- Take a supporter-facing role in managing relationships with Major Donors, leading by example in securing mission-critical income.

Leadership & Management

- Act as a leader within the organisation, representing staff to the board and executive committee where appropriate.
- Work with the Finance and HR manager to monitor expenditure against budget and prepare regular reports on expenditure and projected income for the Free Tibet and Tibet Watch boards.
- Develop annual and project-specific Fundraising Strategies, reporting on appropriate indicators.

Essential
- Proven ability to look at the big picture of an organisation’s fundraising and prioritise what needs particular attention.
- Proven track record of delivering income across one or more of following income streams:
- Individual Giving: postal appeals, online appeals; emergency appeals; matched giving campaigns.
- Major Donor Fundraising: soliciting and stewarding donations from HNWIs; prospects research; Major Donor recruitment.
- Trusts and Foundations: soliciting and stewarding major grant
- Digital fluency with a deep understanding of how this relates to fundraising.

Role Summary
This role, based in Scotland (working remotely) , is crucial in driving forward support for, engagement with, and coordination of high-quality and high-impact multi-day work experiences for high-need young people across the UK. Experts in the coordination and delivery of multi-day work experiences, working closely with UK-wide employers and education establishments in Scotland.
The starting salary for this role is £30216, rising to £32706 after a suucessful year in role.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
Strategic purpose:
- Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Experience opportunities from initial programme scoping with non-income generating employers to securing commitments, monitoring young person applications, programme design and implementation, and employer follow up.
- Nurturing relationships with existing schools and colleges in Scotland and onboarding new establishments
Employer Engagement:
- Responsible for account management of corporate partnerships as agreed by the development team
- Securing commitment from employers to deliver multi-day work experience opportunities.
- Account management for employers throughout their work experience journey.
- Supporting the account management of corporate partners by delivering on their work experience programmes as agreed by the business development team and coordinating with other programme teams to ensure committed delivery takes place.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Programme Manager to join The Phoenix Way team. The National Programme Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of our fund, ensuring its effective implementation and impact. About the team
The Digital team was created in 2022, with aims including ‘to update our use of systems so that they better meet our needs, provide answers more quickly and easily, and increase the robustness and efficiency of the ways we use data’ as well as to ‘help us change the way we work, not just the systems we use.’
Until now a one-person team, we are adding the CRM and Analytics Manager role to provide a greater focus for development of our key data systems, and to meet increased demand from across Impetus as we drive use of CRM. The team works cross-organisationally, providing development for, collaborating via established working groups with, all teams within Impetus.
About this role
We are looking for a talented professional with a passion for maximising the value of data, who is looking to join an organisation where they can put their skills to use across all aspects of our operations. You will join at a key time to develop and embed our work in this area, providing key support to all of our teams as well as expanding and improving the range of data available to us.
You will lead on the development, administration, and staff engagement with, and training on, our Salesforce CRM system. This will include data from, and collaboration with, all departments of Impetus, including our donors and prospects, our collaboration with partner charities, and our communications with email audiences. You will also manage the relationship with our existing Salesforce partner agency, drawing on them for additional support resource and coordinating broader development projects.
You will also aggregate, visualise, and draw relevant insight from data across our systems, including Salesforce, Google Analytics, and our social media platforms. In time, we will look to combine our own data with other external and open data. Since Impetus is in the early stages of making the best use of this cross-systems, cross-organisational data, you will have broad freedom and responsibility to set the overall direction of development, in collaboration with relevant teams, as well as the specific dashboards and other outputs that you create.
The successful candidate will have experience developing and drawing value from Salesforce, including both technical development and collaborating closely with teams to drive engagement and best practice. You will also have experience of working with a broad range of data to produce high quality visual and analytic outputs and a commitment to enabling data-driven decision-making.
This position requires someone that can collaborate with a wide variety of teams as well as frequently working independently and with a high degree of autonomy. Stella Maris is growing as a charity, in terms of income generation and new programmes of activity around the world. To help support this development, we have created this new important role. The Fundraising & Communications team at Stella Maris comprises about 12 staff members (some full time; some part time). The team and the charity have now reached the point in their evolution where we need to appoint a Major Donor Manager. This post holder will offer excellent stewardship to our existing Major Donors. He/she will also help to identify and cultivate new potential Major Donors from within and outside our existing pool of individual donors. MAIN PURPOSE
The Major Donor Manager, reporting into the Director of Development and working with some guidance from the Head of Major Gifts, will maintain and grow a stable pipeline of income from Major Donors. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the organisation to use data in its operations, using first party and third-party data sources to facilitate more informed and reliable decision making. Ensure data is relevant, accurate, and accessible by creating, maintaining, and promoting dashboards (through Tableau) for staff and volunteers.
- Lead on developing and improving new processes and automations to save organisational time and increase supporter engagement. This will include marketing automations such as welcome journeys for members.
