We are excited to introduce a new and important role of Impact and Evaluation Manager at the RBL. This key role will help shape a TMO portfolio of dynamic and transformational initiatives, ensuring that impact and evaluation insights are used to drive service improvement and innovation.
Together, the team in the TMO take great pride in managing a diverse portfolio of programmes and projects. We work closely with our Executive team, as well as other senior leaders and colleagues across the charity to provide expertise in project, programme and change management.
We’re looking for an exceptional and creative Impact and Evaluation Manger to lead our work on adaptive approaches to monitoring and evaluation and who can balance strategic needs with the reality of our frontline work.
Working under the direction of Director of Transformation, the role of Impact & Evaluation Manager will be critical in championing robust evaluation in the organisation, adapting approaches and steering learning to ensure a meaningful impact.

- Explore and implement innovative tools to effectively monitor and evaluate projects and programmes.
- Ensure impact and evaluation is embedded across the organization and data insights support the teams to inform decisions and drive improvement of service to our beneficiaries.
- Analyse data and produce tangible products geared to inform strategic decision-making, optimize processes and drive sustainable growth.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development with a view to improve data gathering and exploitation within cross- functional teams.

Role Summary
This role, based in Scotland (working remotely) , is crucial in driving forward support for, engagement with, and coordination of high-quality and high-impact multi-day work experiences for high-need young people across the UK. Experts in the coordination and delivery of multi-day work experiences, working closely with UK-wide employers and education establishments in Scotland.
The starting salary for this role is £30216, rising to £32706 after a suucessful year in role.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
Strategic purpose:
- Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Experience opportunities from initial programme scoping with non-income generating employers to securing commitments, monitoring young person applications, programme design and implementation, and employer follow up.
- Nurturing relationships with existing schools and colleges in Scotland and onboarding new establishments
Employer Engagement:
- Responsible for account management of corporate partnerships as agreed by the development team
- Securing commitment from employers to deliver multi-day work experience opportunities.
- Account management for employers throughout their work experience journey.
- Supporting the account management of corporate partners by delivering on their work experience programmes as agreed by the business development team and coordinating with other programme teams to ensure committed delivery takes place.
- Training employers to use SfS products in the coordination and delivery of their placements, including but not limited to Portal and Google Classroom.
- Working closely with Delivery Partners to ensure seamless delivery of work experience opportunities.
- Leading on all employer engagement and meetings with your dedicated accounts.
- Developing and disseminating impact reports to employers at the end of their contract and in line with impact and evaluation framework.
- Working closely with Education team to ensure school engagement in areas of work experience activity and in line with charity’s target areas.
School Engagement:
- Training and supporting users to maximise the opportunity to their students accessing our programmes through our platform
- Delivering training sessions to schools and colleges on our programmes and building on engagement in Scotland.
- Building partnerships as determined by national education strategy to maximise our impact.
- Developing long-standing relationships with school and college contacts to enable engagement in and implementation of our product offer.

Delivery:
- Providing best practice guidance and advice on work experience programme set up and content.
- Responsible for delivery and completion of own work experience placements and the operational and administrative activity required.
- Providing cover and support for other Work Experience Managers as required.
- Taking ownership of own capacity management using capacity management frameworks to help inform future workload planning.
- Adherence to data compliance, standards, guidelines and best practices to ensure our data integrity and consistency.
- Retain our registered schools and colleges in our network and increase engagement levels in all programmes.
- Ensuring all data relating to school and college engagement is accurate, recorded and presented in reports when required.

Role Purpose

Specific Responsibilities
· Lead on delivering key areas of the Grants and Commissioning strategy and operational plan to establish a strong and sustainable funding base and support our growth ambition by delivering income targets year on year.
· To write compelling applications/bids, cases for support and reports, working in collaboration with the Finance Manager, Family Services Manager and Systems and Information Officer and tailoring the information for the audience, ensuring submission within required deadlines.
· Develop first class relationships with the portfolio of existing and new trust funders, commissioning partners, delivering the highest levels of donor care, by always providing excellent stewardship and ensuring all reporting requirements are fully met.
· Lead on horizon scanning for trust funders, creating a prospecting programme for new opportunities to grow the portfolio. Utilising existing networks, specialist funding sites and referrals.
· Lead on researching prospects for commissioned services, seeking opportunities to work in partnership where appropriate through utilising existing networks and procurement/tender platforms.
· Develop processes to be used across Home-Start Essex, to codify our approach to grant management and ensure appropriate escalation points across the organisation.
· Work both independently and with colleagues to develop content for proposal to funders, ensuring information is accurate and compelling, to generate funding for restricted and core work.
· Maintain and develop Home-Start Essex’s case for support templates and support materials, liaising closely with the senior management team and marketing team and adhering to brand guidelines and key messaging.
· Manage the grant/trust fundraising programme via Beacon CRM, developing account management and stewardship activities and maintaining detailed records of all communications.
· Ensure that successful bids/tenders and grant/trust applications are handed over to the Family Services Manager and Area Lead Co-ordinators with clear milestones, outputs, outcomes and evaluation/reporting requirements via Implementation meetings.
Reporting
· To provide regular activity, income and pipeline updates to the CEO and Finance & Business Development Committee.
· Maintain accurate records of income and restrictions.
· Ensure that progress against KPIs and pipeline is effectively monitored and reported, flagging concerns and developments in good time.
· Ensuring pipeline development by maintaining the database, recording all stewardship actions and communications.
Other duties
· To help at fundraising events from time to time.
· To work closely with other members of the fundraising department to provide data and leads to help them maximise income for the charity.

· To develop an in-depth knowledge of HSE and understanding of HSE’s work.

· Ensure branding, language and content for all fundraising communications are in line with the Home-Start Essex’s strategy, vision and values.

The post holder will have the following areas of responsibility: -
1.Fundraising (55%)
a.Research and identify fundraising opportunities;

a.Regularly update overview of case records and track enquiry numbers, calculating statistics and reporting these to Legal Director, trustees, and external parties where relevant;
b.Prepare and submit monitoring reports to donors with statistics and testimonials gathered by the Client Liaison team;

Overall purpose:
As Fundraising and Campaigns Marketing Manager in the Marketing & Communications team, you will drive Ben’s fundraising and commercial services with individuals and businesses within the automotive industry. Role outline and purpose
Working as a key link between the Philanthropy team and wider organisational teams, the Philanthropy Content Reporting Manager – Trusts will create specific reporting materials for our key funders. Job Summary
Chapter One is seeking a West Cumbria Programme Manager who is an excellent communicator and is able to both motivate and support schools and teachers to implement our online reading volunteers programme, and also to ensure that the programme’s impact and benefit to disadvantaged communities is maximised throughout the academic year.
The post is ideal for someone looking for part-time, flexible, term-time only work from a home base and who is able to travel frequently around West Cumbria. The postholder will be joining a team of established Programme Managers (also part-time) who work in different parts of the UK and will need to have some flexibility to work additional hours during busy autumn months, and conversely to work fewer hours during quieter periods of the year.

About the role
Sightsavers' content and stories team has responsibility for developing creative concepts and content in response to communications briefs, as well as supporting the organisation with video and editorial services, and sourcing photography, video, audio and written stories from projects across Africa and South Asia. This work generates a huge volume of multimedia digital assets which need to be easily searchable by everyone in the organisation. We've recently moved to a new digital asset management system which requires an ongoing process of training and development.
We are looking for a Digital Asset Manager to be responsible for embedding and maintaining our new digital asset management system (Asset Bank), offering training and support to teams using and uploading assets. You'll work closely with content producers and story collectors to develop workflows preparing and uploading new content and you'll lead their implementation. As digital asset manager you'll inspire staff with available content, finding creative ways to make the organisation aware of the assets the team is producing. - Ensure all prospective volunteers are inducted with Age Cymru and Community Assistance Project partners across the region
- Ensure the delivery of all the relevant training required
- Provide a mentoring / buddying system for the new volunteers
- Ensure all volunteers have appropriate Disclosure and Barring Service checks prior to starting the role.
- Provide ongoing support to volunteers
- When referrals are received, match the service user with the most appropriate volunteer while ensuring a high quality, timely and responsive service is provided
- Identify and attend relevant networks, publicise the Community Assistance Project, establish community links with all appropriate stakeholders and promote the service through a range of methods
- Promote and cascade information, including real-life examples of positive intervention through all available methods
- Maintain accurate and up to date records in the region utilising our case management system and other databases, to provide for the effective monitoring and evaluation of the project
- Support programme evaluation through surveys and questionnaires
- Make onward referrals internally or externally to provide a holistic support package for service users

We have an exciting new role for a skilled partnerships fundraiser to join our supportive team. You will spot and develop opportunities to establish new partnerships, as well as manage and help develop our group of amazing partners.
This role would suit a fundraising or partnerships executive, or equivalent, looking to step up, or it could be a great opportunity for someone looking for a new challenge and keen to take the lead on an increasing number of innovative, high-profile national partnerships.
You’ll need to communicate the vital importance of our goals in a way that persuades organisations to work with and, crucially, to fund our work. New business development and ongoing relationship management are crucial as we seek to establish long-term partners and sustainable income streams for the organisation. As Partnerships Manager, you will play an important role in realising our vision.
We are looking for someone who is flexible, a self-starter and able to use their own initiative to generate ideas as well as leads. It’s not imperative that you come from the charity sector as long as you can show us that you have relevant transferable skills and an understanding of what it takes to be successful in this role. We welcome applications from people who may have struggled with maths and numbers and have a personal understanding of the experiences of our beneficiaries.
National Numeracy is based near Brighton but with significant home working potential. The expectation is that you will be in the office occasionally when the work requires it, but we offer significant flexibility opportunities. The role may include regular travel to London and beyond.
