Job description

Fundraising Executive

You will join us as a Fundraising Executive responsible for generating income by managing and developing relationships with a portfolio of charitable trusts and foundations capable of giving grants between £1,000 and £10,000.

Fundraising Executive Responsibilities:

The position will be responsible for researching, cultivating and stewarding a mix of warm, lapsed and new donors. You will be required to work with others across CLIC Sargent to produce accurate reports and write compelling funding proposals.

Working as part of a supportive team, this role is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their fundraising and charity career.

Fundraising Executive Requirements:

- Experience of fundraising in a previous role, either in a paid or voluntary capacity
- Excellent research and communication skills
- Confidence in building relationships over the phone, via email and face-to-face
- Exceptional organisational skills
- An eagerness to learn more about philanthropy and, specifically, trusts fundraising
- Proficient IT skills including experience of using databases
