Join Dementia UK as a Gift Processing Officer helping to establish an excellent level of financial processing that will underpin the growth in fundraising activity across a range of income streams.

Working within the supporter care team you will be responsible for processing a high volume of donations. You will ensure that that all processing is accurate and timely in order to provide an excellent supporter experience for all Dementia UK donors & supporters. About the role

The Events Officer plays a key role in our highly effective communications team, leading on the delivery of an impactful programme of events – both online and in person. The role works with teams from across the organisation to plan, deliver and promote all types of events, including workshops, roundtables, conferences, webinars, receptions and other types of online and in person events.

Events are an important way for Ageing Better to influence priority audiences, including businesses and local and national government, and the postholder will advise teams on how events can best reach these audiences, encourage engagement and lead to lasting relationships.

This role sits within the Communications team, and the postholder will be responsible for drafting comms content, such as blogs and social media posts, particularly in relation to event promotion.

You are highly organised, with excellent prioritisation and project management skills, enabling you to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. You have good attention to detail and enjoy planning, solving logistical problems and delivering events to a tight budget.

Key Tasks

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all high value fundraising activity, including proposals, applications, and donor interactions, and be able to regularly report this activity back to the Head of Philanthropy.

• Manage a portfolio of low-mid level prospects and existing donors, developing clear strategies to cultivate relationships and secure continued philanthropic support of £1,000 to £10,000. Ensure all donors in the assigned portfolio are provided stewardship and take responsibility for contacts and annual work plan.

• Develop and deliver a programme of cultivation, stewardship and recognition low-mid level donors and prospects, proactively seeking opportunities to improve the chances of securing repeat gifts through bespoke communications and consistent stewardship.

• Support the Head of Philanthropy and wider High Value Team with stewardship and cultivation of donors and key contacts. These activities may include virtual events, stewardship events, proposal development, annual reporting, and direct marketing appeals.

• Ensure the upkeep of a database and filing system for all existing and prospective donors within High Value Giving liaising with the Finance and Administrative team to ensure reconciliation with financial record.

• Work closely with the Philanthropy team and other colleagues to maximise all opportunities and support a dynamic, successful, and professional team

• Ensure that data security is maintained and that legal and regulatory requirements are fully complied with.

• Undertake other tasks, when necessary, to achieve the team’s and the organisation’s overall objectives.

Experience

Dementia UK is currently seeking a Database Officer to lead on the delivery of processes within the Database Services team.

As Database officer, your primary responsibility will be managing a substantial volume of data files, from a variety of sources seamlessly importing this information into our fundraising database. You will handle supporter data ensuring a high level of accuracy, while being directly responsible for running the majority of data imports as well as handling enquires coming into the Database Services shared inbox and running regular data cleansing routines.

In addition, you will be expected to maintain data management standards, assisting with the implementation of processes and policies ensuring best practice is followed. Working with the Supporter Care, Finance, and Fundraising teams to ensure income is accurately coded across all fundraising streams.

The Adult Services Team Manager is one of 3 team managers reporting to our Chief Executive Officer. The services managed include Direct Payment Support across Richmond and Wandsworth, Befriending and Community Activities, our Benefits and Housing Advice and Information service and our Counselling service.

We’re looking for someone who has a good working knowledge of database systems and who understands their importance to organisations like Al-Khair Foundation. We seek someone who is naturally process-driven and has a great eye for detail. Your Role

Al-Khair Foundation uses Salesforce to manage relationships with our donors, supporters, and stakeholders, including recording all donations made to the organisation. Al-Khair Foundation’s Database Officer will be responsible for the monthly delivery of the income and data reconciliation processes for the Fundraising teams, which includes liaising with a wide range of external agencies and the website to successfully download and query files, update and create new supporter records on the database, process cheques and payment requests, and work closely with the Finance team to ensure all anticipated and banked income tallies correctly.

You will also work closely with colleagues in the Database team to support and maintain regular database processes, data cleansing, and other database-related functions that happen on a monthly or quarterly basis. This may include responding to and being responsible for Support Ticket queries in relation to income, data, and/or the database generally and working with external database agencies such as our web platform partners and Salesforce.

Aside from these core duties, from time to time, you may also carry out general administrative tasks on behalf of the Supporter Engagement team. This may include supporting the Supporter Care Assistant during busy periods with customer care via email and telephone and recording updates, processing invoices, and maintaining and updating team rotas and trackers.

Your Responsibilities

• Delivering the monthly data reconciliation and income reconciliation processes, which include downloading and uploading data files.
• Supporting the Fundraising teams with their monthly income recording and reconciliation.
• Liaising with external agencies and the Finance team.
• Checking for and correcting inaccuracies and updating supporter records.
• Running reports for the Fundraising and Finance teams.
• Maintaining and carrying out regular database processes, including data cleansing.

At our independent charity based in London Borough of Sutton, the Head of Health Services will lead on and develop Age UK Sutton's community health commissions including; our Hospital Discharge service which provides practical support to older people in the first days and weeks after discharge from a hospital admittance; Dementia Peer and Practical support service, delivering information, advice, peer support and some practical support to those living with or affected by Dementia; and the innovative Older Person's Mental Health Peer Support service operating in partnership with Sutton's Community Mental Health services and South West London Mental Health Services.

The Head of Health Services will have delivery objectives to achieve with their operational team, with current direct line management of 9 staff over 3 services and have strategic development opportunities to deliver excellent services to the older population in London Borough of Sutton.

The Head of Health Services will be an integral part of Age UK Sutton's Leadership team, with overarching responsibility for keeping our vision to make Sutton an Age Friendly place to live, at the centre of all what we do.

At TreeHouse School, we're looking for a SEND Officer to join our team.

You'll lead the scheduling and coordination of the statutory annual review process and be responsible for planning, organising, minuting and drafting all annual review paperwork. You'll support the effective provision of the school office administration by having regulatory knowledge to meet the needs of TreeHouse School and work closely with the reception team where required to support a variety of stakeholders.

You'll liaise closely with the school based Transdisciplinary Team staff, including class teachers, OT, SaLT, PBS specialists as well as outside agencies. You'll manage and organise pupil appointments, including informing parents/carers. You'll manage diaries/Outlook calendars, make appointments, book meetings and training rooms, whilst also being responsible for meeting minutes and note taking.

• Formal administrative/reception qualification or equivalent experience
• Excellent working knowledge of SEND code of practice and Annual review process
• Experience of working within a similar SEND organisation/school/charity environment
• Experience of using own initiative to plan, organise and manage own workload

The role

Myaware is the only charity in the UK dedicated solely to the care and support of people affected by myasthenia.

Women’s Aid is the national charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children. Purpose of the Senior Corporate Fundraising Officer role:   

As Senior Corporate Fundraising Officer, the successful candidate will play an integral role in the implementation and maintenance of a rolling programme of prospect identification, research and the nurturing of relationships. Leading on maximising support through the corporate fundraising streams, the post holder will draft and submit applications among other approaches to prospective funders and donors. In addition to developing persuasive cases for support in line with organisational priorities, the post holder will ensure that the activities for which funds are sought are impactful, measurable and can be effectively reported on to funders. Understanding Women’s Aid work, business plans and strategic priorities will be essential, as well as an involvement in fundraising events with the purpose of relationship building, nure and networking.

• Line managing one team member 

• To be responsible for a portfolio of prospective and existing corporate supporters to solicit large donations, funding and ensure meaningful partnerships are created 

• Work to match funders aims with Women’s Aid’s vision, purpose and mission – using creativity and innovation to package up relevant areas of Women’s Aid work and strategy to be appealing to funders 

• Understanding the organisational needs and strategy in order to provide excellent account management to Corporate funders and Major Donors/High Givers. 

• To employ a variety of personal engagement mechanisms to ensure that prospects and supporters become, and remain, fully engaged with our cause whilst ensuring the highest level of standards of data capture are maintained on the organisational CRM.

What we are looking for in our Senior Corporate Fundraising Officer:  

• Proven experience of successful fundraising from Corporate supporters, major & mid level donors and Trusts.

• Experience of acquiring and managing corporate Charity of the Year partnerships.

• Demonstrable initiative and determination. 

• Line management experience. 

• Experience of writing reports on activities, summarising and analysing figures to make recommendations using Word, Excel and databases. 

• Experience of managing events for high level donors. 

• Experience of researching and developing targeted proposals for presentation to prospective corporate partners and major donors. 

• Experience of developing a strategy to meet targets. 

• Excellent attention to detail and accurate record keeping.

• A flexible approach to work, with the ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities. 

• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to liaise with people at all levels, on the telephone, face to face and in writing, and confident making presentations to diverse audiences. 

• Ability to monitor and evaluate patterns of support and match appropriate project proposals. 

• Experience of working within agreed budget constraints, ensuring that expenditure is maintained within budgets, and that income is closely monitored. 

• Experience of compiling budgets for funders. 

• Good knowledge of the funding landscape and of best practice in multiple areas of fundraising (corporate, trusts and foundations, and major donor). 

• Experience of using a CRM database, preferably Raiser’s Edge. 

• Willingness to work occasional unsocial hours as required. 

• Understanding of the role of Women’s Aid, of domestic abuse and the issues relating including the impacts on women and children.
