ABOUT YOU
We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible administrator to join our small Care Administration team, playing a key supportive role in the Care team by providing effective and wide ranging administrative tasks and reporting & data services.
The ideal candidate will be a dedicated, organised and reliable individual with at least intermediate proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and experience of using databases due to the involved data and reporting element of this role. You will show determination to succeed and have a solutions-focused outlook. You will be passionate about information management, producing accurate and insightful reports for internal and external stakeholders. You will have a keen eye for detail, able to juggle tasks, communicate clearly, with a desire to make a positive difference to the charity.
The postholder will provide comprehensive and confidential administrative support, contributing to the efficient and effective operation of the Care Team (clinical and holistic). You will have a flexible, proactive and adaptable approach to the requirements of this role and to developing administrative and reporting needs as the services expand.

World Child Cancer is seeking an experienced corporate and philanthropy fundraiser to join our growing team and play a vital role in improving the chances of survival and quality of life of children with cancer in under-resourced countries.
About World Child Cancer
Over 400,000 children worldwide develop cancer each year. Childhood cancer is most often curable, with over 80% survival rate in high income countries. However, in many low-and-middle-income countries survival rates are often 25% or lower.
World Child Cancer’s goal is to help redress that inequity and improve the chances of children with cancer to survive and thrive in under-resourced countries. We currently work with local hospitals in 12 countries in Africa, Asia and Mexico to enable children with cancer to have equal access to the best possible treatment and care through awareness raising on signs of childhood cancer, providing financial, logistical and emotional support to address barriers to access treatment, training of healthcare workers and advocacy.
Overview of the role
This newly created Senior Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager role will play a key part in raising income from companies and philanthropists to help achieve World Child Cancer’s mission.
You will be passionate about enabling children with cancer to have equitable access to quality treatment wherever they are born. About the role
Dementia UK is currently seeking a Database Officer to lead on the delivery of processes within the Database Services team.
As Database officer, your primary responsibility will be managing a substantial volume of data files, from a variety of sources seamlessly importing this information into our fundraising database. You will handle supporter data ensuring a high level of accuracy, while being directly responsible for running the majority of data imports as well as handling enquires coming into the Database Services shared inbox and running regular data cleansing routines.
In addition, you will be expected to maintain data management standards, assisting with the implementation of processes and policies ensuring best practice is followed. Working with the Supporter Care, Finance, and Fundraising teams to ensure income is accurately coded across all fundraising streams.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data protection guidelines including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and will bring previous experience in using databases for data entry, maintenance, and importation. Bexley Food Alliance Project Coordinator
The Bexley Food Alliance is a new network which was funded by the GLA to work towards taking pressure off the emergency food aid services and providing increased financial support to Bexley residents. This network has now expanded and aims to build a collaborative network of agencies that can increase fairer access to healthy, nutritious and culturally appropriate food, as well as any additional support residents might need. We are looking for a Project Coordinator to take over the day-to-day running of this network (see below for a brief description). This is a good opportunity for anyone who wants to take on a part-time, one-year project, perhaps as a stepping stone into something more significant, or perhaps you’re returning to work or changing careers. - Research and keep up to date with current developments, grants and opportunities for voluntary organisations and charities relevant to Bexley.
- Network with various organisations offering support, learning opportunities and guidance in running the network.
- Continue to work on an agenda for regular, local networking sessions which you would facilitate (with support if needed).
- Engage with and attend all relevant training offered by GLA as part of the Food Roots 2 Programme as well as any other relevant training.

Working closely with the prison and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will lead the delivery and development of our literacy programme at HMP The Verne, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.
Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach.

Dementia Wellbeing Worker
Age UK Camden Dementia Wellbeing Service is looking to recruit a Dementia Wellbeing Worker to join their team working 35 hours per week on a permanent basis.
The Dementia Wellbeing Service is part of our specialist dementia services and works closely with the Dementia Befriending Service.
The service supports Camden residents over the age of 55 in the early or moderate stages of dementia, to live independently and safely at home for as long as possible, stay socially engaged and carry on doing what they love.
The successful candidate will:

Offer a holistic and person-centered assessment for people living with mild cognitive impairment or Dementia to ensure meaningful interventions.

Manage a case load of clients, providing practical and emotional support to the most isolated and vulnerable in our community.

Provide information, advice and support to carers (family/friends), health/social care professionals and other voluntary organisations and to disseminate knowledge and best practice so that individuals living with cognitive impairment in relation to dementia or undiagnosed dementia have the best care possible.

Maintain accurate and appropriate records via Charity Log database and in accordance with UKGDPR.
