St Mungo’s is proud to pay client facing staff above average for the sector. We run a cycle to work scheme and also offer season tickets loans to all staff.
St Mungo’s contribute 4% of your gross annual salary, and you are able to enrol in the Defined Contribution scheme following a successful probationary period in which the employer contribution is 6%.

Auditory Verbal UK (AVUK) is looking for an experienced family support manager who wants to play a key role in an ambitious and growing organisation that is supporting deaf children to get an equal start at school. AVUK is a small, award-winning national charity that is transforming the lives of deaf children across the UK. Over the next few years, the charity plans to: double the number of pre-school children and families supported by its innovative early intervention programme; significantly increase the number of Auditory Verbal Therapists in the UK; further its profile and influence; and grow and diversify its voluntary income streams so that deaf children have the same opportunities in life as their hearing peers.
The post holder will join a highly-committed and passionate team of 24 staff, and will work closely with the Clinical and Operations teams to provide the best outcomes for families. The Family Support Manager will be one of the primary points of contact for families on the AVUK programme and will provide advocacy, practical support and information services to parents and other carers of children with hearing loss on the programme at AVUK. The Support Worker role:
This role includes supporting our young clients while homeless, at risk of homelessness or in their own tenancies. The post-holder will hold a caseload and will ensure that clients are working towards goals which will lead to further independence. It will also involve working closely with local organisations, statutory services and support agencies to gain the best possible outcomes.
The official job title for this post is Progression Coach.

Support Worker
As well as our existing contracts, we expect to launch a number of new projects in 2021 and so are looking for people who can commit to full or part time hours (3 days per week) for three months (and possibly longer) as well as bank staff.
Support Worker Responsibilities:
As we are looking for bank staff as well as those who can make a firmer commitment to part-time or full-time hours, this is an ideal opportunity for anyone studying, with caring responsibilities or who already has a part-time job and we would welcome a discussion on how this work could fit around the other commitments in your life. Support Worker Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must be qualified in Information Advice & Guidance (IAG) to level 3 or have an equivalent qualification or have at least one year’s experience of IAG in a role supporting / mentoring clients to develop a plan to improve their situations. You should be a great communicator with a naturally coaching style and the ability to provide a service that is welcoming to all. You will have insight into the needs of vulnerable people from diverse backgrounds and understand the need for confidentiality when working with personal information.
You must be a competent user of IT, including email and using the Internet, as well an organised administrator. It is absolutely essential that you share our values. It would be helpful if you have an understanding of discrimination and equality and diversity issues, including those not set out in law such as the ‘poverty premium’. An understanding of housing rights would also be an advantage..
The ability to speak Arabic, Bengali, French, Gujurati, Polish, Punjabi, Romanian or the language of another group that is affected by financial and digital exclusion would be an advantage.

Project / Support Worker - Young People's Services

SHP (Single Homeless Project) is one of London’s leading homelessness prevention charities and a dynamic and growing organisation changing 8,000 lives every year across London - from supporting people in crisis, to helping them take the final steps towards independence and employment.
We currently have really exciting opportunities for you to join our Young People's Services team in Greenwich. Working within a supported accommodation setting, you will provide a safe and nurturing environment for around 100 young people.As a Project/ Support Worker your responsibilities will also involve you developing, supporting and motivating the young people we house.
We run services that are creative, responsive and that provide a foundation which empowers our young people to achieve their aspirations and make positive and sustainable life changes. You will be crucial to making that happen.

About the role:
As Family Support Worker at HMP Pentonville you will work as one of the Pact Family team. You will also have knowledge of safeguarding, data protection and an awareness of the impact of custody on prisoners, children and families.
