Women’s Aid is the national charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children. We are a federation of over 170 organisations which provide just under 300 local lifesaving services to women and children across England. For almost 50 years we have campaigned on behalf of our members and survivors to shape policy and practice, and to raise awareness of domestic abuse.

Purpose of the Operations Manager role: 

As Operations Manager, the successful candidate will play an integral role in the effective day to day management of key business support services including operations, IT data and premises. The role includes line manage responsibilities of the inhouse team as well as maintaining key relationships with outsourced companies to ensure objectives are met.

Key duties and responsibilities of the Operations Manager:

Operations: 

• Manage the non-pay elements of the Operations Budget, including IT budget. (approximately £400K annually) 
• Ensure that the technical, digital and office environment needs of all staff (across all sites and remote workers) are fit for purpose and adequately resourced
• Compliance with Health and Safety legislation
• Oversee the effective management of communal facilities, office resources and equipment. 
• Responsible to complete, monitor and maintain the Operations Risk Management register.

Data Protection and Management: 

• Provide subject matter expert advice on GDPR compliance and data protection. 
• Responsible for co-ordinating the Data Champions Group to ensure that all Data Protection Polices are kept up to date. 
• Responsible for all Subject Access and Right To Be Forgotten Requests
• Act as the ICO liaison. 
• Responsible for setting GDPR training requirements
• Manage the Intranet and SharePoint sites
• Responsible for ensuring that the CRM operates in line with WA’s IT and GDPR Policies. 
• Responsible for monitoring the ongoing archiving connection.

IT: 

• Work with the external IT contractors to ensure effective delivery of the WA IT strategy. 
• Ensure effective management and coordination of IT systems, equipment, office machinery, premises, and services. 
• Plan, develop and implement strategies for IT
• Ensure organisation wide compliance with IT policies. 
• Manage responsive IT support, maintain central records for externally provisioned services. 
• Oversee the effective use of databases and file storage

• Experience and knowledge of a variety of software packages, particularly MS products
• Line Management experience
• Experience of hardware troubleshooting and support
• Solution driven and the ability to think creatively, working to tight deadlines
• Experience in health and safety
• Excellent IT skills and computer literacy
• Good knowledge of GDPR and confidentiality
• Good oral and written communication skills

About the role

We’re recruiting for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to steer us in the next stage of our journey. This is an exciting development of an existing role at Overcoming MS and will allow the successful candidate to make the position their own.

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for delivering an innovative new digital marketing approach, through the innovation, creation and delivery of projects and activities which increase leads, donations and engagement for Overcoming MS charity.

 Key Responsibilities

The Digital Marketing Manager will work across several areas, including:

1. Conversion optimisation

· Increasing our donations and data capture - to enable us to continue the dialogue and create donations from a greater percentage of those who visit our website, or interact with other digital channels.

· Working with our agency partner to optimise key landing pages and signposting for conversion.

2. User journey optimisation

· Helping people find the right content based on data optimisations so that more people find what they need and understand what else the charity could offer them. Using HotJar for insights.

· Automated email journeys - Building customer journeys to support the Program pillars to build deeper relationships with people in our community.

3. Increasing reach and traffic generation

· Testing different low-cost digital reach opportunities.

· Including paid social, referral activities, calls to action across our channels, YouTube SEO and SEM. Working with an agency to optimise journeys from Google Grant, leading to clearly articulated actions (eg donations, sign-ups, click-throughs).

4. Testing to improve results continually 

· Email AB testing - Deliver AB testing to inform future email AB tests.

· Plan AB testing for email marketing projects, for the website, and other projects as needed to improve conversion rates.

5. Digital project management

· Testing new digital versions of courses and tools. Project management of website updates.

6. Campaign support

· Leading, innovating and supporting advocacy, communications and fundraising campaigns as needed to increase reach, engagement and conversions.

7. Gathering community feedback

· Continue the plan to access regular community feedback to influence Hub improvements and other digital channel improvements.

8. Supplier collaboration

· Working with our suppliers to optimise collaboration, reduce cost and increase impact.

About you

Strong digital skills

• A proven track record of managing digital products/projects/programmes which create value for end-users. 
• Strong working knowledge and experience in digital solutions.
• Experience in evaluating and improving existing digital programs.
• Significant experience working with 3rd party digital providers to create solutions that work for the target audience.
• Confident in Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Excellent understanding of AB testing to maximise conversion rates.
• Experience in using tools like HotJar (preferred).
• Strong analysis skills.

• Excellent organisational, planning, prioritisation and time management skills with an ability to work to deadlines and change priorities when needed. 
• Expertise in using and implementing relevant project management methodologies and tools.

This is a new role for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity as we look to expand our successful Individual Giving & Lottery programmes.

About us at the NCT

A lot of people know NCT for our antenatal classes, and we want to continue to support as many parents and families as we can to access evidence-based information. But we are also much more than this. We are a charity that campaigns on the issues that matter to parents. We run breastfeeding and infant feeding support, provided by specialist counsellors. We run thousands of free community activities and events across the UK, led by our fantastic volunteers and peers. And we support women and families facing specific challenges, such as social isolation, feeding difficulties or poor mental health.

Our Hackney Parent Support project is commissioned by Hackney Council, to offer infant feeding support across the region in both community and hospital settings and parenting courses for families throughout the Hackney region. The support is delivered by staff and volunteer peer supporters.

We are seeking a capable NCT Perinatal Service Delivery Manager who is passionate about supporting parents and infant feeding to lead on this project.  This role is home-based but will include travel across the Hackney region (expenses will be reimbursed).

About the role

You will be responsible for managing the parent support project in its entirety across the region. Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:

• Leading on perinatal peer support across the region.
• Managing the project staff team.
• Having a good working knowledge and understanding of the local demographics in the Hackney area and ensuring all services are accessible and inclusive.
• Engaging with communities through networking with other local organisations.
• Report progress on project status, timelines and delivery against key performance indicators.
• Participate in local perinatal networking/task and finish projects, so that the programme is an integral part of the local perinatal and infant feeding provision landscape, and is able to advocate for and chaperone perinatal service users at a strategic level, raising the profile of NCT’s perinatal offer locally and nationally.

You must have good communication skills and be able to build relationships and create a rapport with a wide range of people easily. This is a large project and covers multiple locations so you must be able to confidently prioritise your own work, be highly organised and able to work independently.

Being able to make decisions and respond appropriately to our commissioners, staff, peer supporters and parents and other external stakeholders is essential, alongside good IT skills– including Outlook, Word and Excel – and you must have good attention to detail.
 
It is essential for this post that you undertake the training to become an NCT Breastfeeding Peer Supporter. This requires breastfeeding experience of at least 3 months. The training can be undertaken within your working hours. There will also be training on the EPEC (Empowering Parents, Empowering Communities course) provided by South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.

The role is 28-35 hours per week which will be predominantly Monday to Friday within the working day, however, will include occasional evening and weekends. This is a home-based role, however travel across Hackney will be required.

Job Purpose 
This exciting role will work with the Crisis Service Development Manager to oversee the operations of the crisis services and ensure compliance with contract requirements. The post holder will be responsible for overseeing the everyday operations of the Crisis Cafes and line managing our Team Leaders in each location across Bedford, Luton, Central Beds and MK. The Crisis Cafes are an ever-evolving service, and this role will include implementing, delivering and managing new business and identifying and executing any service improvements across the locations.

Key Responsibilities 

• Support the Operational Crisis Services Manager to oversee the operations of Mind BLMK Crisis services and ensure outcomes which support the contract requirements, specifically within the Crisis Café provision.
• Maintain an effective workforce for the crisis service in line with Mind BLMK’s HR policies, procedures and guidance (recruitment, line management, workload planning, support and development of managers responsible for the services and projects).
• Hold responsibility for maintaining an effective workforce which ensures 7 night a week delivery.
• Hold responsibility for health and safety and Safeguarding for the Crisis services in line with Mind BLMK’s H&S policies, procedures and guidance.
• Hold responsibility for the collection, updating, monitoring and reporting of service data in line with Mind BLMK’s contract and systems requirements and procedures.
• Deal with complaints from service users or other agencies as requested by the Operational Crisis Services Manager.
• To be a member of a Senior Manager On call rota (safeguarding and sickness reporting).

We are looking to recruit a HOPELINE247 Manager to enable the delivery of an outstanding suicide prevention helpline, through the effective management of HOPELINE247 advisers, alongside the promotion and development of the service.

What you will do:

Provide leadership, guidance, and effective line management to a team of suicide prevention advisers.

Ensure a consistent and high-quality service is delivered through effective quality assurance processes.

Manage staffing and resources effectively to ensure the efficient running of the helpline service.

Risk assess and provide advice and guidance to the team, in relation to safeguarding matters, in line with policy and procedures.

Provide ad hoc rota cover to support a range of clients via multi-channel communications, adhering to HOPELINE247 remit at all times.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

A proven track record of building and managing an effective team, supporting their development and managing their performance.

Previous experience of building, developing and managing effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders in the community, voluntary, statutory and political settings.

Previous successful experience of working in suicide prevention or mental health.

Awareness of the issues around safeguarding and how these can affect young people and adults at risk.

Degree level or a professional qualification in Health, Nursing, Social Work, Community Work or a related discipline.

Salary: £34,224 per annum (Scale point 29), progressing by increments to £36,869.25 per annum (Scale point 32). As a night shift worker, you will receive an additional allowance of £10 per night shift. This will be paid on a monthly basis along with the salary.

Hours: 33 hours per week

Working arrangements: This role will work shifts starting at 10:25pm and finishing at 07:40am. Shifts will be on a rota bases across a 7-day working week. 33 hours will be based upon working 4 nights shifts per week.

Katherine Low Settlement has worked with older people since its conception in 1924.They are a core part of the community that we continue to work with. We provide, often in partnership, a range of projects and activities for older people including health and wellbeing; creative arts; intergenerational work; connecting people and trips/outings. Our services include an Older People's Lunch Club, Contact Club, T’ai Chi for Elders, exercise and social sessions, and support online.

We work with older people to:

Key Objectives for the Elders Core Service Manager Role:

1. Team Leadership: Lead a team of dedicated part-time paid staff and volunteers, including a cook, support worker, minibus driver, and sessional workers.
2. Day-to-Day Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Elders Core Service, including the lunch club, transport, social sessions, and overseeing the one-to-one work of the core team.

4. Finance

• Budget Management: Manage project areas to budget and maintain financial records as agreed with the Head of Programme.
