The Youth and Community Programmes team are looking for a Community Programmes Lead worker to support a broad range of activities aimed mainly at young people and over 50’s. Activities are delivered mainly over evenings and weekends aimed at making our community an inspirational place.
You will lead on session delivery and support the planning of programmes. You will manage and coordinate sessional workers, volunteers and workshop leaders working in sessions.

The Role
You'll support the business in achieving its priorities through effective customer communications, advising on the right channels and messages to keep SNG's customers informed and engaged.
As a Customer Communications Specialist you'll create, develop, execute and project manage strategic and tactical communication plans. This will involve producing and delivering creative, engaging content and campaigns for our customers through multiple channels, including web, social media, email and SMS, direct mail and more.
It's an exciting time at SNG as we integrate our communications for former Sovereign and former Network Homes customers and establish a Community Foundation. You'll be part of supporting the transformation and change programme as we move forward together.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Working closely with key stakeholders, listening to and understanding their communication requirements and providing them with expert support.
- Working to align customer communications with external and internal communications, and with our strategy and values.
- Managing and measuring the effectiveness of our communications, including external benchmarking and best practice.
- Understanding the pressures and issues facing the social housing sector and keeping up to date with best practice in Communications and PR, particularly changes to communications innovation, legislation and codes of practice and sharing this insight with colleagues.
What we're looking for
This position would suit candidates who have previous Customer Communication experience, possibly in a housing association, local authority or similar non-profit organisation.
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to adapt your tone and write copy/create campaigns designed to generate a response or change in behaviour.
- Demonstrable experience of producing engaging customer content and campaigns.
- Experience of briefing and working with designers and creatives.
- A good understanding of MS Office packages, including Word, Excel and Publisher.
- Use of email marketing and social media management platforms and tools.

The UI/UX designer will be responsible for producing an effective, visually appealing and intuitive digital experience for our donors. · Create high quality, engaging designs for the new website redesign and upcoming new mobile application which will allow us to better communicate and engage with our donors and potential donors. This is a key project for FY24, and will take up most of your time within this role – key tasks to support our digital transformation include but not limited to:
o Produce wireframes, flows, mock ups and prototypes which put the donor at the heart of the journey.
o Iterate designs based on feedback and user testing.
o Ensure consistency and brand integrity across all design elements.
· Collaborate with developers and marketing professionals to deliver designs based on learnings. You will be part of a team of three creatives, headed up by the Creative and Brand Manager.

About the team
Sitting under the Communications and Engagement team at Shelter Scotland, our tight-knit team comprises of a Supporter Mobilisation Manager, a Senior Marketing and Brand Executive, a Marketing Executive as well as a Supporter Engagement Executive (this role). About the role

As an experienced Supporter Engagement Executive, you’ll be working with our Income Generation teams to support with fundraising and awareness projects to maximise our impact with Scottish audiences. Not only helping us to ensure that Shelter Scotland can deliver on its supporter strategy, you will use mass-mobilisation to achieve supporter growth which will help us to win our campaigns and achieve long-term change.
Your day to day role will involve working with the Supporter Mobilisation Manager to develop and test new supporter propositions and strategies, as well as producing powerful and engaging approaches and materials that align with our Shelter Scotland brand.
This role is vital in helping us to build strong supporter relationships and create long-term commitment to the work Shelter Scotland does and allow us to continue our fight.
About you
You’ll need to be confident on working on ambitious multi-channel awareness or fundraising campaigns that can drive supporter acquisition or retention, as well as being able to inspire and motivate our supporters to take action. As well as having excellent communication skills, you’ll be a data-driven individual who is able and confident to assess the impact of work while adopting a test and learn approach. What’s more, you’ll be knowledgeable on integrated channel planning as well as have a familiarity with paid media, including display, PPC, SEO and social media advertising. Ideally, you’ll also have experience of using CRM Systems, Google Analytics, and email marketing software as well as knowledge of digital fundraising platforms.

We have created a Marketing & Engagement Coordinator post to help us achieve this ambition, through managing and increasing engagement with the charity’s members and other stakeholders. This includes assisting the Marketing and Engagement Manager with the planning and execution of marketing, branding and advertising strategies to better promote the ABF to all our stakeholders across all communications channels. This role also involves administering the ABF membership, including responding to enquiries and providing a positive and responsive experience of the charity. Activities include creating and monitoring engaging content for social media platforms, as well as developing the ABF’s membership processes to increase impact. There will be the opportunity to develop and implement activities to increase the ABF’s membership.
We are looking for someone with experience of digital and traditional marketing as well as customer relationship management (CRM) tools, data analysis software, HTML and graphic design applications. Importantly, you need excellent verbal and written communication skills to successfully convey the ABF’s brand, and the ability to build and maintain positive, trusted relationships with stakeholders.
This role is office-based, working two days per week at our office in central London. The closing date is Monday 22 April, with interviews due to take place on Monday 29 April.

Reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager and working closely with two counterparts as well as collaboratively with the wider Brand and Marketing team, you will develop, deliver and evaluate multi-channel brand campaigns ensuring Sue Ryder objectives are met and integration opportunities are maximised across the charity.
About You
You will have excellent demonstrable experience in a similar role, managing marketing campaigns and activity from briefing to final delivery and evaluation. With first rate communication and interpersonal skills you’ll be adept at working with people at all levels. As our ideal candidate, you’ll bring with you solid experience of marketing in a healthcare setting and an understanding of the structure of the NHS. You’ll be a confident copywriter with a keen attention to detail and strong presentation skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead cross- team project working groups or work closely with the Senior Planning Communications Manager as part of a wider working group as appropriate.

Purpose of the Exhibitions Workshop Manager role is to:
You will play an important role in managing the Museum’s London workshop facility, working closely with the Museum Technician to construct, install, maintain and repair elements of gallery displays such as bespoke mounts, plinths and display stands for Museum objects in permanent galleries and temporary exhibitions.
Key responsibilities of our Exhibitions Workshop Manager include:
- Working closely with the Museum Technician and report to the Head of Exhibitions and Interpretation
- Cultivating partnerships with external stakeholders, contractors and consultants such as exhibition designers, graphic designers, model makers, exhibition construction contractors, quantity surveyors, planning supervisors and contract administrators
- Providing effective prioritisation and resourcing of the Workshop team

- Appropriate trade related qualification in a related technical discipline or equivalent experience gained in a workshop environment

- Recognises scope of own authority for decision making and empowers team members to make appropriate decisions
