Main duties and responsibilities

· Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with individual donors to maximize financial support and our community of supporters.

· Plan and execute individual giving campaigns, across all available communication channels to engage donors effectively.

· Identify, organise and coordinate donor and community events, creating opportunities to engage, retain and celebrate supporters.

· Maintain accurate donor records, utilising data to inform decision-making and improve fundraising efforts.

· Prepare regular reports and analysis on individual giving performance.

· Contribute to the development and implementation of a comprehensive individual giving strategy.

· Strategy: play a part in assisting the Head of Fundraising and Chief Executive in developing the Fundraising Strategy, budget and targets in line with the charity’s Strategic Plan.

Ideal skills and experience:

· Experience in generating income from all or one or two of the following: individual, community and events fundraising. 

· Excellent written communication skills with a proven ability to write compelling stories and innovative content for fundraising campaigns.

· A strong understanding of the importance of knowing your supporter base to maximise income through effective donor communication and engagement.

· Strong data management and analysis skills

· Good knowledge of current data protection/GDPR regulation.

· Good working knowledge of CRM databases and how to utilise to steward supporters.

· Good level of administrative and organisational competency

· Good IT skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office, databases (currently Donorfy and Act!)

·Previous experience working in a charity/non-profit

· Willingness to attend events and meetings etc, for which expenses will be paid.

Main purpose of the role

Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, this post will lead on the development and delivery of Thrive’s community and public fundraising whilst working collaboratively with the rest of fundraising team to maximise and develop opportunities over various income streams.

As a Supporter Acquisition Manager, you will:

• Develop and deliver annual plans and budgets for recruiting new donors through diverse channels.
• Lead an effective direct marketing donor acquisition programme, ensuring maximum income within budget constraints.
• Shape and implement mass marketing plans for cash, regular giving, and lottery programmes.
• Drive growth through direct mail, telemarketing, digital, face-to-face, and other effective techniques.
• Work with the Head of Growth and Acquisition to strategise and capitalise on growth opportunities.
• Provide motivational leadership to the Supporter Acquisition Officer, driving both objective achievement and professional development.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to base decisions on the best available insight and analysis.
• Continuously evaluate product performance and use data-driven insights for decision-making and improvement.

Salary: £34,000 to £37,000 per annum (FTE), depending on experience.

Hours: 35 hours per week FTE, we will consider flexible hours & 3 or 4 day week working.

Place of work: Remote/Hybrid.

Please note that the role will require some attendance at face-to-face meetings in either the Scottish parliament or Northern Ireland Assembly and therefore applications are welcomed from people living in, or with easy access to, Edinburgh or Belfast. You will also be required to attend our Hatfield Office for a minimum of 4 (all staff) days annually.

Working closely with the Head of Policy and Campaigns and the Policy Manager, you will actively engage in effective policy development and advocacy efforts, making a tangible difference in the lives of thousands of people across the UK. This role will require some attendance at Scottish Parliament, or Northern Ireland Assembly and other Government offices for face-to-face meetings.

We’re looking for an experienced and driven individual giving acquisition expert to join the Growth and Acquisition within Mass Engagement. You will be joining the Stroke Association at an exciting and important moment as they continue to develop, diversify and significantly build our individual donor bases and income.

As Supporter Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Acquiring new supporters at scale in order to grow income across our cash, regular giving and lottery programmes
• Testing, validating and optimising propositions across a broad range of products and channels
• Playing a key role in the strategic evolution of the Acquisition programme as the charity continue to develop, diversify and significantly build our individual donor bases and associated income

Ideal skills and experience: 

• Multi-year budget development, planning and forecasting
• Line management experience or support of a peer
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Passionate about supporting the Stroke Association

This permanent role pays a salary of £40,000 to £45,000 per annum. This is primarily a homebased role and Changing Faces are happy to consider full-time or part-time (0.8 FTE) candidates. 

As the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will identify, cultivate, and secure new partnerships that align with their mission and strategic objectives. You will secure new corporate partnerships including corporate foundations, Charity of the Year, cause related marketing and strategic partnerships.

They are looking for someone demonstrable experience of working in a corporate partnerships/corporate social responsibility/marketing/sales environment.  The ideal candidate will have a track record of winning and delivering major charity & corporate partnerships (£50-100k+) with experience of pipeline development.

About us:

Colostomy UK is a national charity that offers support and advice to people who have had stoma surgery (ostomates) and to their friends, families and carers. Our projects empower ostomates to return to sports, hobbies and other activities after their surgery and give them the confidence to take on fresh challenges. We advocate for ostomates’ rights and are their voice on the bigger issues. Our campaigns raise awareness of ‘life with a stoma’ and encourage organisations to make their facilities more inclusive.

About the role:

As the Volunteers and Support Administrator you will provide efficient administration to our support services and volunteer team. You will also undertake any admin duties involved with running the Colostomy UK office and support other members of the team. You will be answering and re-directing incoming calls on our stoma helpline. You won’t be providing support to callers; however you will need to have an empathetic approach whilst explaining that you will arrange a support call back from one of our volunteers. You will action calls that come through on our admin line and manage our central email inbox, ensuring requests are actioned promptly. You will organise volunteer rotas, help with onboarding our volunteers and organise incoming and outgoing post. The postholder will take minutes at meetings, ensure the office is kept tidy and co-ordinate stock delivery for events and exhibitions.

Our ideal candidate:

The ideal candidate for this position is organized, efficient, and reliable, capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently. They will possess excellent customer care skills, demonstrating a professional and empathetic telephone manner. Attention to detail is vital, along with strong time management abilities. The successful post holder will have effective verbal and written communication skills, coupled with proficiency in Microsoft programs and accurate data entry. While prior administration experience is preferred, it is not mandatory.

Core role responsibilities

• To provide comprehensive administration to our support services and volunteer team, including the rest of the Colostomy UK team. To ensure the smooth running of office operations.
• Answering and re-directing incoming calls on our helpline and admin line, arranging support call backs from our team of volunteers with lived experience.
• Manage the hello@ inbox, ensuring that all requests are actioned in a timely manner.
• Organise the volunteer rotas
• Support our Volunteers Manager with the administration of onboarding, supporting, and training volunteers, including conducting DBS and reference checks.
• Manage our incoming and outgoing post, inclusive of couriers and sending out literature orders.
• Co-ordinating the delivery of event stock for open days/ exhibitions.
• Take minutes at meetings.
• Represent the charity at occasional events and travel for other business purposes
