About the post - Hybrid working

nia is now entering the next phase of our work to become an Anti-Racist organisation and we are seeking a Development Officer to support us with this next stage. The Anti-Racism Development Officer will play a key role in the delivery of the Anti-Racism action plan and in embedding Anti-Racist practices across the organisation

Part of the role includes Co-ordination of nia’s Anti-Racism Working Group to co-produce tangible outcomes; harnessing the expertise of those most impacted by racism and embedding an Anti-Racist framework across the organisation.

About the role

Are you an experienced corporate fundraiser with an interest in working in the international development sector? Are you creative, strategic, highly organised, a confident and effective communicator and strong team player? 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Fundraising Manager to work closely with the Head of Programme Funding to drive new donor engagement and secure sustainable, multi-year funding. If you are seeking a dynamic and engaging fundraising role which offers you the chance to play a pivotal role within a small but ambitious organisation, then this could be the job for you.

You will be an exemplary relationship builder and have experience in developing multi-faceted corporate partnerships (ideally with experience and success in employee engagement, corporate sponsorship, and/or operational partnerships).

The role also line manages the Senior Fundraising Officer post, a position that provides administrative and fundraising support across the whole fundraising team.  Please note that we are a small team and so you’ll need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to help out team members and to support new business across other restricted income streams.

Communities Manager

The service provides 24hr supported accommodation for adults with complex needs within the Lambeth Vulnerable Adults Pathway. We support 18 people, in individual studio flats, offering a unique self-contained environment.

The people we support may benefit from a supported transition towards increased independence, or have been unable to thrive within a traditional communal hostel.

Move-on is a key focus and the team work very closely with the Lambeth pathway manager to identify and secure appropriate options for clients.

About you

In this role you will work alongside the manager, a psychologist and lead workers. You will play a major, creative role in maintaining and furthering a safe Psychologically Informed Environment. We support women and men with complex needs, including challenges with substance use, mental and physical health.

You will line manage three Lead Workers, providing support through structured supervisions. You will play a major part in creating a safe environment for residents who have experienced homelessness to thrive in, where people are able to build their confidence and pursue new opportunities.

The Programme Manager role will report to the Senior Programme Manager and sit within the Programmes Team.

ARMA (UK) is the professional association for research management in the UK. We currently have around 3,5000 individual members from 250 organisations, ranging from universities and research institutes to research funders and the National Health Service.

This role will be responsible for the effective delivery of ARMA’s scheduled and ad hoc training and development events (c25 per year) and our mentoring programme.

This role will work closely with our Qualifications and Member Engagement Officers, various working groups and our volunteer trainers to support them to deliver high quality training, that meets our members needs.

 About the Role:

In the role of Membership Development Officer, you will be instrumental in growing and cultivating our membership base, overseeing membership administration, and improving our digital footprint.  Main Responsibilities:

- Membership Administration (50%):

- Process new membership applications across various categories.

- Respond to inquiries and manage member communications.

- Maintain accurate membership records and manage payments.

- Send subscription reminders and handle resignations.

 - Membership Promotion and Events (25%):

- Actively promote membership through events and collaborations.

- Coordinate merchandise for festivals and external events.

- Utilize Mailchimp to advertise member benefits and events.

 - Website and Marketing Support (15%):

- Collaborate with the website team to update membership pages.

- Use Mailchimp to communicate membership benefits and promotions.

- Design print materials and merchandise using Canva.

 - Other Duties (10%):

- Engage with the RAS Digital Communications Manager to promote membership.

- Support the Events Manager with membership-related tasks.

Compensation & Benefits:

- Position: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

• As the team leader, nurture a flourishing Leadership Development Team in which the gifts of all team members can be developed and deployed in support of the work entrusted to the team.
• To oversee the development, implementation and continuous improvement of induction programmes for Bishops, Deans and Archdeacons so that those newly appointed to these roles can quickly establish firm foundations for fruitful ministry.
• To lead the continuing evolution of a compelling national learning and development programme linked to the Church's formational frameworks that forms and equips Bishops, Deans and Archdeacons so that they can flourish as they lead the Church in mission within their roles.
• To oversee the shaping, implementation and evolution of the Strategic Leadership Development Programme for those identified as having potential for future wider responsibility.
• To oversee the optimal deployment of coaches and other supportive interventions for senior clergy.
• Subject to available funding, lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of new programmes to form and equip other frontline leaders (e.g. Diocesan Secretaries and incumbent-level clergy) so that they can flourish as they also lead the Church in mission in their roles.
• To oversee the development, implementation and continuous improvement of a periodic development review process that facilitates the continued holistic formation of Bishops and to explore opportunities for an equivalent process for Deans.
• To create and sustain an appetite for organisational learning and development through the provision of high-quality learning and other interventions.
• To contribute to the delivery of programmes on a regular basis.

• Integration of the riches of the Christian tradition with the best of wider leadership development thinking and practice.
• Ongoing development of the new 'Learning Practicum' virtual learning system.
