Temple Church is located in the Temple, City of London. The Church serves the legal colleges (Inns of Court) of Inner and Middle Temple, and serves members of the Inns and their families, London’s residents, visiting jurists and travellers from all over the world through the provision of some of the most uplifting services, music and discussions in London. Inner and Middle Temple have established a new registered charity, Temple Church Trust (Reg no 1205712), to maintain the Church, support its choristers and professional musical team, and develop its charitable activities. In advance of the Trust becoming operational in the summer, the Temple Church Committee wishes to appoint the first Chief Executive Officer of the Trust.
The role:
The CEO will be expected to lead and coordinate an established team of full-time and part-time staff; manage the Church’s multifaceted stakeholder network; ensure close control and management of the Church’s resources; and represent the Church and its work to the two Inns and externally so that the Church can function effectively and plan confidently for the future. The CEO will also be responsible for the Church's sensitive commercial development through the Trust’s wholly-owned commercial subsidiary company.
What we need:
You will be an excellent leader with effective interpersonal skills. Your recent experience will be at the director level or equivalent in the third sector, public sector, military or commerce. You will have a proven track record of leading or significantly contributing to the leadership of an organisation similar in size and complexity to the Temple Church. Proven experience in managing and delivering projects and income generation is essential. You should demonstrate a commitment to learning and development and sympathy for the mission and values of the Church of England.
What we offer:

We are recruiting a Community Development Officer to engage key partners and stakeholders in the region tailoring support, training and education to create suicide safer communities.
In this role you will:
· Identify, develop and maintain effective partnerships with local communities, volunteers and key partners across the region to engage them in the prevention of young suicide.
· Proactively promote suicide prevention including raising the profile of PAPYRUS and engaging with those personally affected by young suicide.

CPRE’s Volunteering Development Officer provides excellent advice on best practice in volunteer engagement so we ensure people from all walks of life can volunteer with us. You’ll work with the network of 40 county-based charities and with our national CPRE to expand how we campaign for the countryside through volunteering.
You’ll be working part-time (three days a week) in our Volunteering & Participation team, with the Volunteering and Participation Manager and Volunteering Development Assistant. You’ll also work closely with our Director of Communities and Participation and the Network Engagement team, who are part of the wider Communities and Participation Directorate.
This varied role helps to deliver CPRE’s volunteering strategy, to find a way in for everyone to care for the countryside. You’ll be supporting volunteer coordinators, trustees and others to identify priority volunteer vacancies and assist in driving the recruitment of a diverse range of new volunteers.
You’ll encourage peer to peer networking with Volunteer Coordinators, welcoming new volunteer coordinators into the group and hosting network meetings. Working closely with the Volunteering Development Assistant you’ll be key to the delivery of both our national online volunteer induction programme and our national volunteer awards programme. These initiatives aim to give volunteers a warm welcome to the charity, and recognise and celebrate volunteer achievement.

Job Role:

Galapagos Conservation Trust (GCT) is the only UK registered charity to focus exclusively on the conservation and sustainability of the Galapagos Archipelago. With nearly 30 years of experience working in Galapagos, we collaborate with our strong local network of NGOs, community members, authorities and researchers, as well as international partners, to deliver projects that achieve measurable conservation outcomes, improve sustainable livelihoods, and protect the environment. As described in our 2023-2025 strategy, our work falls under two programme themes: ‘Ocean Protection’ and ‘Restoring Islands’, taking an approach that considers conservation at the ecosystem scale, and ensuring our efforts tackle priority threats through a suite of solutions centered on science, education, community innovation and policy.

We are looking to recruit a talented and self-motivated Senior Business Development Manager to join us in early June 2024 on a 12 month fixed term maternity cover contract.
Reporting to the Director of Strategic Development, this role is essential to driving forward the implementation of Creative United’s business development plans across multiple programme and project strands. Key responsibilities include the planning and delivery of business development activities that build on our existing service offer, responding to the needs of the creative communities that we serve, whether on a local, regional or national basis.
This is a hybrid-working role that involves spending a minimum of 2 days per week at our offices in London. You will have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy building relationships through a combination of face to face, telephone and written communications. You will be comfortable working with minimal supervision to plan and coordinate activities that involve the buy-in of other staff and partner organisations. You will be able to inspire and motivate other people to work with you to achieve our shared goals and priorities through effective planning, implementation and evaluation.

Head of Sales and Marketing (Partnership Development)
Salary: £46,022 to £53,139 full time equivalent
Hours: Part time/Full time (minimum 4 days per week)
Location: Hybrid/London (office move within London due in June 2024), with minimum two days per week in the office during term time.
We would consider reduced office days for a successful candidate based in one of our target regions across the north and midlands. Travel throughout England is a requirement of this role.

We are looking for an ambitious and driven sales and marketing leader to play a central role in the next stage of Challenge Partners’ development and growth.
Established by headteachers in 2011, Challenge Partners is an education charity with a mission to reduce educational inequality and improve the life chances of all children. We do this by accelerating school improvement, leadership development, and pupil progress across the 575 schools in our partnership. We share excellent practice between schools and trusts through rigorous peer reviews, tailored school improvement programmes, and national and local collaboration.
By driving our sales and marketing activity, you will deliver a crucial strand of our ambitious strategy to enhance and extend Challenge Partners to benefit 500,000 pupils each year by 2027. Reporting to the Chief Executive, your main objective will be to inspire schools and trusts to join Challenge Partners. You will do this by leading a small sales and marketing team, and personally securing sales. You will also be responsible for enhancing our brand, PR and communications, and will support our fundraising efforts.
You will be the sales and marketing expert in the organisation, with good commercial sense and sensitivity to the sector. You will be able to design, execute and monitor impactful campaigns to help us reach new schools and trusts. You will have the personal credibility to win the confidence of school and trust leaders and the tenacity to convert interest into sales.
You will be a strong and highly skilled communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop and strengthen new and existing relationships. As a confident public speaker, you will engage and inspire audiences of school and trust leaders. As a senior leader you will have a track record of building, managing and developing high-performing teams and play an important role on our Leadership Team in steering the organisation and upholding our culture.
It’s not all about the strategic. We are a small, but diverse and dynamic team. We expect everyone in the central team to get stuck in, so you will need to be comfortable to both set the strategy and ‘do the do’ in the functions you oversee.

This opportunity will involve leading the transformation of their established Pre-school into a thriving year-round nursery. Furthermore, it includes launching a new childcare service at their second church site, enriching family and children's initiatives, and strengthening ties with borough leaders and funding bodies.
