About KLS Love to Learn team
Since 2004, KLS Love to Learn education team of 10 part-time staff and over 100 volunteers, have supported thousands of young refugees and their families in Battersea and the London Borough of Wandsworth to thrive in their education. Through mentoring, family support, casework and homework clubs, we provide the tailored support each young person and their family/carers needs to overcome the barriers to education they face at home and school.
Key Objectives:
Homework Clubs and Mentoring:
- Assess eligibility for Love to Learn.

The Carers Information Service was established in 1997 and is part of the John Whitgift Foundation. We are a small, friendly team dedicated to providing free advice, information and support to carers in Croydon.
Offering a wide range of services including health and wellbeing activities, carer's assessments, respite care, bereavement support, digital and printed publications, meeting room hire and much more. As an Advice and Assessment Worker your main responsibilities will be to focus on the Carers Assessment Service in line with the John Whitgift Foundation, Croydon Council and Care Act requirements. Harris Hill is searching for an Alumni and Development Executive for around 3 months to cover a leaver.
This role will need to start around the 22nd April for a handover with the current postholder. The post can be 3, 4 or 5 days per week but on the understanding that this be hybrid based with the need to attend their numerous sites, depending on alumni events.
This role has sites in London and Surrey, so you may need to attend either for specific events. This could be a couple times a month to a few times a week during holiday periods. The Role
The Youth Development Coordinator is responsible for the development and delivery of our youth development programme for young refugees and asylum seekers.
You will be focused on ensuring our programme activities achieve our outcomes, are in line with our strategy and identify areas for change and development under the direction of the Head of Services. Job Description
To be responsible for coordinating, planning, and delivering our youthwork programme in Brent, ensuring you are focused on achieving our outcomes and impact for young refugees and asylum seekers – and working within our current strategy, youth development strategy and implementation plan. Our current youth work activities are:

· Young Women’s’ Group
· Support and Advice Hub (including cricket and football)

2. To manage the Brent Youth Development Team
· Line manage Youth Development Workers
· Supervise volunteers to enable them to support activities with young people
· Assist the Head of Services with the recruitment and induction of staff and volunteers, ensuring young people’s participation in the process.
· To ensure excellent monitoring and evaluation
· To have a supportive and wellbeing-focused approach to line management of staff - ensuring regular one-to-one supervision meetings and annual Performance and Development Reviews.
3. To play a key role in the delivery of our weekly Youth Club and Advice and Support Hub. This includes working closely with the Head of Services, Casework Manager and Hub partners and subsequent follow-up actions relating to supporting young people access their rights and entitlements.
4. To play a key role in developing and co-ordinating youth participation work, working closely with young people and the Head of Services:

6. To identify, propose and with agreement from the Head of Services, develop and run new projects in line with our new strategy and implementation plan, meeting unmet need and with advice from young refugees and asylum seekers in Brent and surrounding areas.
7. To ensure targeted outreach to young asylum seekers and refugees, publicising projects creatively and appropriately, including at relevant schools and colleges in the local area.
8. To ensure excellent safeguarding practice, and always follow our Safeguarding Policy, reporting any Safeguarding incidents to the Designated Safeguarding Lead ad ensuring they are informed, and appropriate, timely action is taken.
9. To work with the Impact and Communications Manager to provide content (photos, videos, quotes, case studies) which is safe for and respectful of the young people we support, with the right permissions that can be used as part of communications to our supporters, on social media and as evidence of our work to funders.
10. Ensure activities in Brent are monitored and evaluated in line with the agreed protocols.

We are looking for Night Worker to join our excellent team in Hounslow. As the successful candidate you will have a passion for supporting some of the most vulnerable individuals in the borough, supporting residents around their strengths and aspirations.
The Hounslow LIFE service is a large multi-site service that has a staff team of 32 supporting 86 clients, covering specialisms such as Homelessness, Substance Use and Mental Health.
In the role of Night Worker, you will be working with our clients on their road to recovery, aiding clients to gain the necessary skills to move on from our services and into suitable accommodation. You will assist staff on site with supporting clients, completing H&S tasks, responding to and completing incident reports, and ensuring that clients within the building are safe. You will also have some housing management responsibilities as part of ensuring we deliver safe, high-quality services.
Working in our Forbes House complex needs hostel, you will be part of a team providing 24hr support to 22 clients at the start of their journey with us, supporting them towards greater independence. This role involves working night shifts between the hours of 21:30 – 08:15. This will also include some weekends and bank holidays, and the role will be service based with no home working.

What you'll do:
If a need arises, deliver all aspects of support to enable a customer to develop independent living skills as appropriate to the individual needs of the customer. In some services, this will include delivering personal and physical care as appropriate

Development & Fundraising Officer
Job Role:
The Development Officer will join Forces Employment Charity during an exciting time as the charity grows and expands its business development, fundraising and income generation. This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic team player with great bid writing skills to advance their career and our vital charitable work.
You will work with the Head of Development to research and identify new fundraising opportunities from trusts, foundations and companies and convert these into long term business relationships. You will also work within a team to produce high quality, bespoke proposals and reports to demonstrate impact and outcomes to help drive the delivery of FEC across the UK.
This is a full time 35 hours hybrid role with a salary of £28,325. This role includes regular travel to the London Head Office Building in London Victoria.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Develop, prepare and submit high quality funding applications to trusts in line with their requirements as part of the overall fundraising strategy and contribute to the achievement of the charity’s overall fundraising target
- Identify new funding opportunities, including charities, trusts and foundations and corporate philanthropists and developing ideas into compelling applications.
- Support in the management of monthly reporting requirements and demonstrate impact and outcomes according to grant agreements.
- Record all activities using the FEC Salesforce CRM database.

- Experienced Project Manager who is able to plan and manage their own workload.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to create accurate verbal and written content, presentations and reports in English and confidence to use Information Technology to the required standard.
- Ability to communicate key information about the OISC and the regulation of immigration advisors to organisations of all sizes.
- Experience or understanding of how digital technologies and user research methodology can support capacity building programmes.
