We are looking for social media officer to support the Health Equals team to deliver an exciting programme of campaigning work.
The post holder will play a crucial role in helping Health Equals to build its online presence and following, supporting its objective to raise awareness of how our health is shaped by the building blocks of health. As well as driving engagement to our public campaigns, the successful candidate will lead on creating and curating compelling evidence-based content from Health Equals members.
The social media officer will be adept at finding opportunities to reach broader audiences, to amplify messages, build relationships and engage in debates in innovative ways with opinion formers and influencers online.
The successful candidate will be an integral member of our current team of 11 working across:
- Content creation, scheduling and channel management. This will include creating impactful written social media content, tailored across Health Equals social media channels.
- Monitoring social media, including identifying opportunities to build awareness of Health Equals, our members and our campaigns.
- Track, analyse and report on social media metrics to assess the performance of our content, and use insights to make recommendations for improvement in engagement and reach.
- Work to develop our online community engagement and influencer outreach.
Health Equals is a 5-year multi-million pound campaigning initiative developed as part of the Health Foundation’s aim to improve health and reduce inequalities.

What can we offer you?
The salary band for this role is £35,000 - £39,000 per annum, dependent on relevant skills and experience.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities
- Create and edit compelling and innovative social media content optimised against a range of objectives, including the production of graphics and video
- Work closely with cross-directorate teams to develop and implement impactful social campaign strategies, ensuring appropriate messaging and content for specific audiences, channels and placements
- Provide full community management across channels on a rota
- Work with people living with dementia to champion their voices through powerful storytelling
- Support the Senior Social Media Manager to embed social media strategy
- Develop and deliver guidance and training to colleagues across all areas relevant to successful social activity, ensuring information is easy to understand for a non-digital audience
- Run paid social activity aligning with strategic team objectives and manage associated budgets
- Use analytics tools to report back on the performance of day-to-day and campaign-focused social activity, making recommendations to address gaps and optimise performance

Scope of the role:
The Digital Content & Communications Officer is responsible for creating content across FEI’s communications channels, inspiring individuals organisations alike to get involved in the face equality movement.

Age UK Sutton is looking for someone to join the Let’s Connect programme team as a Digital Inclusion Project Coordinator supporting older people to develop digital skills and improve their access to digital services.
You will champion the service and be responsible for working with people from initial referral completing assessments to understand a person’s situation, creating a goals-based plan to support clients to access digital skills training through group and 121 offers. You will work with older people to enable them to become more confident in using digital equipment such as tablets and smartphones through arranging and delivering digital skills training sessions in both group and 121 settings.

We’ve grown a lot over the last 15 years and our weekly community meals now run in more than 85 towns and cities across England and Wales. This role is vitally important in supporting our growth - we have plans to reach 100 Community Meal Projects by the end of this year as well as launching new initiatives that will help us support more families and children.
The post holder will work closely with the Head of Marketing and the wider marketing team to develop campaigns and plans that will get as many people as possible talking about FoodCycle’s work, enhance our visibility and become the leaders in delivering and promoting community dining.
You will have experience working within media or PR, with a track record of securing high quality media coverage. You will have knowledge of the media landscape, and the ability to craft a press release, pitch a story, work with case studies, and write blog posts.
