About the role
We are looking for Digital Mapping Volunteers to support our Derbyshire Recovery and Peer Support & Living Well services and network. You will be residing within Derbyshire community or surrounding area and, ideally, you will be able to commit up to 3 hours per week to volunteering.
The aim of our Community Mapping project is to provide easily accessible information on locations of other services, groups and community resources / assets available to our wider network.
You will work closely with a network of'nomad' volunteers across Derbyshire. Nomad volunteers collect local grass roots information on support, points of interest and community assets available in the community were they live.
As a Digital Mapping Volunteer, you will support other 'nomad' volunteers by updating the local information they collect on our digital Community Mental Health Support Map.
You will receive training and regular supervision to ensure you feel confident in your role.
About the service
Our Derbyshire services support people who are having difficulties with their mental health by offering targeted goal-focused support, developing peer support and volunteer opportunities across Derbyshire, and also peer support groups.

What you will be doing as a Nomad Community Mapping Volunteer
The aim of our service Digital Mapping Volunteers is to update and maintain the Digital Mental Health Support Map. As part of the team you will support:

Liaising with Group Development Workers and Community Mapping Nomad Volunteers for mapping information

Inputting up-to-date information into our digital online Community Map

Network with other local services for updates and changes to community support

We are seeking a committed and detail-oriented Volunteer Archivist to join our team. As a Volunteer Archivist, you will play a crucial role in preserving, organising and maintaining our archives, encompassing both digital and physical assets.
Our archive and library are permanently housed at our London Office. This role would suit someone working towards an archive or record management qualification, with an interest in social and cultural archives and history.
Main Duties
- To assist in maintaining a comprehensive archive and library encompassing both digital and physical assets representing the rich history CPAG.
- Collaborating closely with the Office Manager and CEO, your role will involve developing an efficient and user-friendly framework for the ongoing management and preservation of the archive.
- Listing, describing and boxing records.

We would like the volunteer to work with us to redesign and simplify our existing website, creating a clear and enjoyable user journey.
Some of the tasks we are looking for UI/UX Design volunteers to help us with are:
- Coordinate with the core team on issues like navigation, page routing, product page design, and more
- Develop mock-ups for our development and design teams.
You will be working in the Design team, where visual assets such as the Numberfit logo will be provided to you. You will also work with the lead developer, who oversees the administration of the Numberfit website on WordPress and the development of web applications across Numberfit products.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a volunteer who has experience in:
- UI/UX design
- Adobe Illustrator
- Creating low- and high-fidelity prototypes on paper and in digital prototyping tools, such as Adobe XD or Sketch.
- Experience working to design briefs and within branding guidelines.

The volunteer must also:
- Have high attention to detail and strive for accuracy throughout their work.

- An appreciation of responsive web design would be invaluable. - Educated to a Bachelor's degree level or equivalent qualification/relevant work experience. A design graduate with excellent design thinking skills and industry experience in UI/UX design would be beneficial.

About the role
After several years of relying on the efforts from our Co-Founders, Trustees and temporary volunteers we are looking to take the next step in our growth journey through the placement of our first longer-term volunteer.
This role will be designed to oversee all marketing and social media activities of the organization, and to provide leadership to a small group of wonderful and talented student volunteers from London based Universities as they complete tactical projects for ParaPride as part of their studies. Duties

Advise on how to best grow overall awareness and success of the ParaPride brand.

Oversee the continuous development of our content creation schedule and distribution of engaging, thought provoking and educational content for our media channels, notably LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Provide support and guidance to a small team of student volunteers to develop social media and marketing content that supports the mission, vision and values of ParaPride - directly participating in the creation of content at your discretion.

Ad-hoc creation and distribution of promotional assets for ParaPride events.

Identify and establish potential additional media channels where it is sustainable to do so with the resources available.

Level of commitment

Kidderminster Foodbank are seeking to recruit Trustees with an interest in helping others, who are willing to uphold the food bank’s values, and who can bring life experience to the board of trustees. Trustees have collective responsibility for the governance of the organisation and for all decisions made by the Board. They set the strategic direction for the organisation, ensuring alignment to our values, and are responsible for setting organisational policy, defining goals, agreeing the financial plan, evaluating performance, and ensuring that strong relationships are maintained between the Trustees and the Management & Volunteer Team.
Key tasks:
- To manage the charity’s resources responsibly, including ensuring the charity’s assets are used only to carry out its purpose, avoid undue risk and not over-commit the charity.

Our Board members are unpaid volunteers called trustees. They fill an essential role in ensuring our charity improves the lives of older and vulnerable people around the borough of Lambeth. We currently have seven Board members with space for up to five more. We want to find people who have a desire to direct services that enable lives to be changed for the better. Sepsis is a life-threatening condition that affects 245,000 people in the UK every year. At least 48,000 of those people lose their lives to the condition. We believe that earlier diagnosis and treatment across the UK would save thousands more lives a year.
The UK Sepsis Trust (UKST) was founded in 2012. Founder and Executive Director, Dr Ron Daniels BEM, is an NHS Consultant in Intensive Care:

The UK Sepsis Trust has ambitious plans to increase awareness, educate wider networks beyond direct care health professionals and provide support to an ever-increasing population of survivors and bereaved. We are seeking to diversify the existing Trustee Board by gaining access to broader and deeper skills, backgrounds, and experiences. Our Trustees work in partnership with our Chairman and Chief Executives to ensure our resources are applied to maximum effect to achieve our purpose – through a clear vision and strategy, whilst exercising stewardship to operate an appropriate framework of governance.

Time Commitment
The time commitment of the Trustees is variable but as a minimum they are required to attend the following:
- The Trustees have four formal meetings each year with the management team (2 of which are in person in either Birmingham/London).
- In addition there are four informal meetings with the management team along with regular Trustee only meetings which are all held virtually
- The Finance and Governance Trustee would also be required to attend four finance and audit committee meetings per year.
