Overview: As a Volunteer Senior Digital Marketer for our women's menstrual health charity, you will play a crucial role in leveraging digital channels to raise awareness, drive engagement, and support fundraising efforts for our programs in Malawi, dedicated to ending period poverty. Responsibilities:

1. Digital Strategy Development: Collaborate with the team to develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with organizational goals. Identify key objectives, target audiences, and digital channels to maximize impact.

2. Content Creation and Management: Create compelling digital content, including social media posts, blog articles, email newsletters, and multimedia assets, to raise awareness about menstrual health issues and our organization's work in Malawi. Ensure all content is culturally sensitive and resonates with UK and Malawian audiences.

3. Social Media Management: Manage and grow our presence on social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Develop engaging social media campaigns, schedule posts, and monitor performance metrics to optimize reach and engagement.

4. Email Marketing Campaigns: Design and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture donor relationships, promote fundraising initiatives, and share updates about our programs in Malawi. Segment email lists, personalize content, and analyze campaign performance to drive conversions and donations.

5. Website Optimization: Collaborate with the web development team to optimize our website for user experience, accessibility, and conversion rate optimization. Regularly update website content, implement SEO best practices, and track website analytics to improve visibility and engagement.

We are seeking a committed and detail-oriented Volunteer Archivist to join our team. As a Volunteer Archivist, you will play a crucial role in preserving, organising and maintaining our archives, encompassing both digital and physical assets.

Our archive and library are permanently housed at our London Office. This role would suit someone working towards an archive or record management qualification, with an interest in social and cultural archives and history.

Main Duties

• To assist in maintaining a comprehensive archive and library encompassing both digital and physical assets representing the rich history CPAG.
• Collaborating closely with the Office Manager and CEO, your role will involve developing an efficient and user-friendly framework for the ongoing management and preservation of the archive.
• Listing, describing and boxing records.
• To develop a basic ‘collections policy’ outlining future collecting and simple archiving procedures for organisational maintenance.
• To use your knowledge of archiving processes to support staff with cataloguing archive contents.
• To undertake any other duties that may reasonably be required.
• This includes applying archival principles and standards, enhancing the archives research and historical value.

Commitment
The role requires a minimum commitment of at least 3 months, 7-10 hours per week during our working hours (Monday-Friday, 9.00am to 4.30pm).

Help us with redesigning the navigation on our Website.

Some of the tasks we are looking for UI/UX Design volunteers to help us with are:

• Coordinate with the core team on issues like navigation, page routing, product page design, and more
• Develop mock-ups for our development and design teams.

You will be working in the Design team, where visual assets such as the Numberfit logo will be provided to you. You will also work with the lead developer, who oversees the administration of the Numberfit website on WordPress and the development of web applications across Numberfit products.

What are we looking for? 

We are looking for a volunteer who has experience in: 

• UI/UX design
• Adobe Illustrator
• Creating low- and high-fidelity prototypes on paper and in digital prototyping tools, such as Adobe XD or Sketch.
• Experience working to design briefs and within branding guidelines.

The volunteer must also:

• Have high attention to detail and strive for accuracy throughout their work. 
• Understand the resource constraints of a small organisation and be able to work with these

Desirable:

• Knowledge of HTML and CSS would be advantageous.
• An appreciation of responsive web design would be invaluable. This means you are able to create digital assets at different image resolutions and appropriate file formats to cater to different device viewports, and you understand how different viewports require changes to the sizing, positioning, and arrangement of content on web pages.
• Educated to a Bachelor's degree level or equivalent qualification/relevant work experience. A design graduate with excellent design thinking skills and industry experience in UI/UX design would be beneficial.
• Experience working with user interface component libraries.

Our Trustees are a team of volunteers who use their diverse skills, experience, and perspectives to set the strategic direction of the charity and make sure it’s doing what it was set up to do in the best possible way. 

For families facing tough times, a holiday is a much-needed break from the day to day, as well as giving space and time to breathe, think differently. A holiday is essential for building wellbeing and hope for the future, especially when the present is challenging.

You'll have the energy, integrity, passion, and skills to work with the Board of Trustees, our CEO and staff team, and our community, to drive forward a successful and dynamic future for our charity and the families we support.

We’re particularly looking to add the following professional skills and experiences to our team.

• Directly supporting children and/or families on an ongoing professional basis.
• Fundraising in a charity through voluntary donations or commercial income.

You don’t need to have been a Trustee before, but you do need to be willing to do some training to help you understand the role and the responsibilities that come with it.

About the role

After several years of relying on the efforts from our Co-Founders, Trustees and temporary volunteers we are looking to take the next step in our growth journey through the placement of our first longer-term volunteer.

This role will be designed to oversee all marketing and social media activities of the organization, and to provide leadership to a small group of wonderful and talented student volunteers from London based Universities as they complete tactical projects for ParaPride as part of their studies. This will also include supporting Daniele, our Co-Founder and Community Engagement Director, with planning and reporting of their activities to the university.

The leadership you will provide will initially be indirect, with Daniele being ultimately responsible for the students activities, so we expect this to be a wonderful opportunity for a seasoned marketing or social media professional who would like the opportunity to gain team leadership experience. 

Duties

• Advise on how to best grow overall awareness and success of the ParaPride brand.

• Oversee the continuous development of our content creation schedule and distribution of engaging, thought provoking and educational content for our media channels, notably LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

• Provide support and guidance to a small team of student volunteers to develop social media and marketing content that supports the mission, vision and values of ParaPride - directly participating in the creation of content at your discretion. 

• Ad-hoc creation and distribution of promotional assets for ParaPride events.

• Identify and establish potential additional media channels where it is sustainable to do so with the resources available. 

• Maintain the organisations Brand assets and monitor and advise of their use and ensure consistency with our established tone of voice in written content. 

• Build partnerships with social media brand ambassadors/influencers to support content creation and brand awareness.

We will also welcome any additional suggestions for how you might wish to apply your skills to support ParaPride in its mission.

Level of commitment

We are a growing charity and while it is our goal to provide financial compensation for this role in the future, we are unable to initially. Kidderminster Foodbank are seeking to recruit Trustees with an interest in helping others, who are willing to uphold the food bank’s values, and who can bring life experience to the board of trustees. Trustees have collective responsibility for the governance of the organisation and for all decisions made by the Board. Time Commitment

• Additional Training and Development sessions are offered to all trustees around effective trusteeship, impact measurement, finance management and more (via external providers)

• Ad hoc engagement and support to the CEO, other staff and board members 

• Engagement with Hatch staff, programmes and founders as relevant

• Attendance at Hatch’s fundraising events and ad hoc fundraising meetings as relevant

• Hatch Trustees are appointed to serve for a term of 3 years and are be able to stand for re-election for a further 2 terms (maximum service 9 years)

• Prospective trustees start as Board Observers with Hatch, enabling you and the team to assess if we’re a good fit. Being a Board Observer comes with most of the same responsibilities and commitments as a full trusteeship does. We would expect prospective trustees to be Board Observers with Hatch for 3 - 6 months (1 - 2 board meetings and engagement opportunities) before being asked to become a full trustee where this is mutually desirable

• Fundraising: Hatch is actively looking to diversify its income , which currently mainly comes from corporate partners (around 70-80%). We believe there is a big opportunity to work with more trusts & foundations and individual philanthropists on a strategic level as well as work with local or central government. We’d welcome people who have an understanding of the world of Philanthropy, Trusts & Foundations and might even be involved in running one or working in one.

Sepsis is a life-threatening condition that affects 245,000 people in the UK every year. At least 48,000 of those people lose their lives to the condition. We believe that earlier diagnosis and treatment across the UK would save thousands more lives a year.

The UK Sepsis Trust (UKST) was founded in 2012. Founder and Executive Director, Dr Ron Daniels BEM, is an NHS Consultant in Intensive Care:

“We seek to save lives from sepsis, and improve outcomes for survivors, by educating healthcare professionals, raising public awareness, providing support for those affected by this devastating condition and political lobbying. We will protect people by enabling the prevention of severe infection and the treatment of sepsis, whist helping to ensure antibiotics are used responsibly.”

The UK Sepsis Trust has ambitious plans to increase awareness, educate wider networks beyond direct care health professionals and provide support to an ever-increasing population of survivors and bereaved. We are seeking to diversify the existing Trustee Board by gaining access to broader and deeper skills, backgrounds, and experiences. Our Trustees work in partnership with our Chairman and Chief Executives to ensure our resources are applied to maximum effect to achieve our purpose – through a clear vision and strategy, whilst exercising stewardship to operate an appropriate framework of governance.

Time Commitment

The time commitment of the Trustees is variable but as a minimum they are required to attend the following:

• The Trustees have four formal meetings each year with the management team (2 of which are in person in either Birmingham/London).
• In addition there are four informal meetings with the management team along with regular Trustee only meetings which are all held virtually
• The Finance and Governance Trustee would also be required to attend four finance and audit committee meetings per year.

What you’ll be doing

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
• Conduct keyword research to identify high-value target keywords and optimize website content accordingly.
• Perform on-page and off-page SEO optimization, including meta tags, URL structures, internal linking, and backlink acquisition.
• Monitor and analyze website performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console, and provide regular reports and insights to the team.
• Stay updated on industry trends and algorithm changes to adjust strategies accordingly and maintain competitive advantage.
• Assist in the creation of compelling content optimized for SEO, including blog posts, articles, and landing pages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content creators, designers, and developers, to ensure SEO best practices are implemented throughout all digital assets.
• Support marketing campaigns with SEO insights and recommendations to maximize their effectiveness.
• Provide support for other marketing initiatives and projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• Proven experience in SEO strategy development and implementation, preferably in a technology or SaaS company.
• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
• Proficiency with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, or similar.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive informed decisions.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

This pivotal role involves governance oversight, board leadership, executive support, and serving as an ambassador for the organisation.

Key responsibilities:

• Strategic leadership and vision: Guide the organisation with a strategic vision, aligning the board and staff's efforts with the mission. Lead the development and review of long-term strategies to ensure responsiveness to community needs and adaptability to the changing environment.
• Governance and oversight: Ensure effective governance, oversee board operations, and ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and functional responsibilities. Monitor financial performance and adherence to non-profit management best practices.
• Resource mobilisation: Support and participate in fundraising strategies, leveraging networks, and engaging with donors and stakeholders to secure necessary resources for the organisation's work.
• Building and leading the board: Ensure the board comprises members with diverse skills and perspectives.
