Refettorio Felix is an innovative charity providing a restaurant quality 3 course meal freshly made entirely from surplus food in our beautiful space, for free, to vulnerable and economically insecure adults. It also offers wrap around care and support in areas such as housing, mental health and employment.
We offer our services Monday to Friday during the day. At night and at the weekends the space is for hire as an event venue for weddings, parties and corporate events.
The role is made up of three major components:
1. Focus on the delivery of the commercial events, being heavily involved in all aspects from marketing through to handling enquiries, and then managing the client relationship and their event to conclusion.
2. To organise fundraising events in the space.
3. To assist with the marketing of the charity in general, including the day to day management of the social media channels.
You should have some knowledge and interest in web sites, an interest in food would be an advantage. Specific experience in a similar role professionally is not essential, your knowledge could have come through voluntary activities, hobbies, university clubs or elements picked up through part time jobs. The essential qualities for this role are being highly organised, highly creative and passionate about the charities mission.
Main duties and responsibilities:
· Create and deliver fundraising events in the venue.
· Operate the commercial events office on a daily basis - this includes but is not exclusive to: - managing new clients; receiving inbound enquiries: conducting site visits and recording and managing booking details, invoicing and booking necessary staff as required.
· Operate day to day the Charity’s’ Social Media Channels
· Support the management of the charity’s website.
· Assist with the implementation of the commercial events and general charity’s marketing plans, using relevant elements of the marketing mix.
· Develop and produce promotional materials, including copywriting and liaising with other departments, agencies and suppliers.
· Raise the profile and brand of all our facilities and services
· Maintain relationships with agencies, relevant publications, suppliers etc.
· Complete monthly marketing and sales analytics.
· Assist with strategic decision making and reporting.
· Create (yourself and/or using professional photographers) and curate photography to maintain a relevant, up-to-date stock of images for charity publicity, event sales and marketing.

The role
As Marketing Executive, you’ll have a broad and varied role, working with our Marketing and Digital Manager to deliver Marketing and Communications projects at a critical time for the Football Foundation and for grassroots sports. About the role
Becoming the Programme Marketing Manager at the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women is a fantastic opportunity to help drive progress for women entrepreneurs in low and middle income countries by engaging more people in our work.
The key purpose of this role is to effectively market our programmes to participants – chiefly our HerVenture business skills microlearning app and our sector-leading Mentoring Women in Business programme.
This will span three main projects:
· to successfully manage a marketing agency to effectively market the HerVenture app to women in South Africa (as part of a fixed-term project with active marketing ongoing until Mar ‘25);
· to successfully manage the same marketing agency to promote the app in Nigeria (as part of a separate fixed-term project with active marketing ongoing until Dec ‘24); and
· to effectively promote the opportunity to become a mentor to a woman entrepreneur through our Mentoring Women in Business programme to paying professionals worldwide. Your objective will be to secure 18+ paid mentors for the Nov ’24 programme intake and 20+ for the May ’25 intake.
Following the completion of the two HerVenture marketing projects, you will also lead other programme marketing initiatives in 2025. These will be determined in late 2024.
Following the May ’25 Mentoring intake you will deliver a strategy, harnessing your learning and analysis to outline an approach for marketing the programme to paying mentors in future.
You will also be called on to support other forms of programme marketing on an ad hoc basis, for example advising on development of corporate pitch decks, or co-designing materials for fundraising events.
This position reports directly to the Head of Communications and Marketing, however this is a highly collaborative role and you will also work closely with the Entrepreneurship programmes team and the Programme Funding team to develop and deliver plans and manage projects.
Our ideal candidate will be a knowledgeable and motivated marketer with experience in ‘selling’ professional development / online volunteering opportunities, and in managing agencies and contractors to deliver on fixed projects as aligned to good marketing practices. You should be highly organised and goals-driven, with a collaborative approach, a growth-oriented mindset, and a strong desire to harness the power of marketing to support women’s economic empowerment.

The Role

You must be able to inspire us and our partners and spearhead our public affairs work, including through our National Delivery Plan to unite action to end digital poverty by 2030.
We bring together charities, corporates and government to address the underlying issues stopping families gaining full access to digital services such as education, healthcare and employment. We seek social change through our National Delivery Plan, whilst also delivering solutions in local areas that help real people and provide evidence for change.
This is an exciting, high profile and fast-paced role, joining our small team and working alongside partners, National Delivery Committee members and our wider stakeholders to effect real change for people. You will report directly to the Chief Executive, working alongside our Head of External Affairs.

The Role:
Hospice UK has an exciting new fundraising strategy with a focus on digital fundraising and supporter journeys. We are looking to significantly increase our engagement with new and existing supporters across all areas of fundraising. The Digital Fundraising and Engagement Executive will be responsible for maximising income, supporter recruitment and retention through digital channels, for both individual giving and events.
Reporting into the Head of Events & Supporter Engagement and working very closely with the External Affairs team you will deliver a cohesive and impactful approach to digital fundraising and supporter journeys. The Digital Fundraising and Engagement Executive will lead on recruitment and stewardship for a number of third-party challenge events as well as supporting on the optimisation of integrated digital campaigns and donor journeys.

The Events and Supporter Engagement team forms part of the wider Income Generation and Grants Directorate. The team’s focus is on raising funds from individuals through challenge and special events, digital fundraising, giving in memory, legacy giving, regular and payroll giving and one off donations.
The team is made up of 5 people (including this role), who work closely together to help achieve our goals. The wider Income Generation and Grants team consists of 20 people in total. We meet regularly through team meetings and coming together in the office on a Tuesday, which helps to create a supportive working environment.

About the post of CEO
You will report directly to the Board of Trustees, ensuring excellent governance of the Charity, regulatory compliance with the Charity Commission and Companies House, and will collaborate with Trustees on designing and executing the 2024-2027 strategy. JOB DESCRIPTION
Strategy and Operations
1. Develop, implement, and lead execution of the charity's annual operational plan and 3-year strategic plan.
2. Identify appropriate level of staffing, volunteering, ensuring that all staff and volunteers are appropriately interviewed, vetted, inducted, trained, developed, and supported to deliver against their objectives.
