Our country is at a crossroads: this election year is a chance for change, with voters crying out for the NHS to be saved from the crisis it faces, while people face daily struggles with the cost of living a little. Our climate and our democracy face huge challenges. 38 Degrees is a community of a million people who come together to do small things that add up to push decision makers to deliver the change we need.
Reporting to the Campaigns Manager, the Campaigner is responsible for delivering on critical aspects of campaigns across the issues our supporters are passionate about including developing cutting edge and exciting campaign ideas, writing and building great content, optimising supporter journeys and working on important projects for our team. The Campaigner measures and monitors the outcomes achieved from campaigns and suggests better ways of doing things. This job is for you if you’re passionate about making the country fairer, more respectful, and more sustainable – and if you have the skills and drive to run creative, impactful, people-powered campaigns to make it happen.
There are no formal education requirements for this role. As long as you can show us that you have the skills we don’t mind where you got them from! We’re particularly interested in people who have some experience of digital campaigning – for example, creating engaging email or petition content that persuades people to take action, and who can use data to inform campaigning decisions. The person who fills this role isn’t directly responsible for social media content, but our campaigners work closely with our Content and Mobilisation team, who manage our social channels, to ensure our content is cohesive and develops our use of content as a campaign tactic.
To be successful in your application you must also answer the questions below, which are part of the selection criteria. If you do not answer the questions, your application will not be considered.
