Job description

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full time - 35 hours a week

Location: Can be based in any of our UK Trust offices

The Supporter Data Manager will work within the Fundraising Data and Support Insight team and play a pivotal role in the management of our supporter data and database (primarily Raiser’s Edge).

You’ll lead the delivery of a dynamic calendar of data activities, balancing competing deadlines and maintaining the highest quality and accuracy of activities undertaken; pioneer and promote the understanding and effective use of supporter data and databases through first class training and support; manage the Fundraising Database Executive effectively; and ensure supporter data, processes and systems are efficient, high quality, and remain compliant with relevant legislation and regulations.

We have also recently embarked upon an ambitious and exciting project to consolidate all our supporter data into one data warehouse solution, providing efficiencies in our activities and the ability to scale up our outputs, transforming the department into a key driver of departmental performance. The postholder will have a fantastic opportunity to shape and contribute expertise to this project.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate and enthusiastic about data and insight, highly motivated by the power of data to effect to organisational transformation
  • A technical mind, with great attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial and fearless, relishing new opportunities and the chance to effect real change with their ideas
  • Able to work collaboratively and communicate effectively, working closely with fundraising teams
  • Able to translate complex technical concepts into easily understood issues across a range of audiences and levels of data maturity
