Job description

The Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund is the RAF’s leading welfare charity supporting current and former members of the RAF, their partners, and families, providing practical, emotional and financial support, whenever they need us.

We have a vacancy for this exciting new post of Senior Legacy Marketing Executive to join our expanding team. We are developing a brand new legacy proposition and suite of materials in Autumn 2022 to be reviewed and rolled out into 2023. The role will work closely with the Legacy Marketing Manager to implement our new multi-channel legacy recruitment campaigns and will involve testing of existing and new marketing channels.

You will be an excellent communicator, good at organising and planning, and able to show initiative in managing aspects of the legacy recruitment programme.

The role is office based in either the Edinburgh or London office with hybrid working available, with the minimum expectation of three days working in the office, two days working from home.

A detailed job profile is available below and on the Fund’s website. To apply, please send your CV together with a covering letter, not longer than three sides, detailing why you believe you are suitable for this role and how you meet the person specification to Martin Botting, HR Business Partner via email.

The closing date for applications is 25 August 2022 at Midday.

Please note interviews will take place via Video Conferencing Platform on 1 September.

Please note that due to the high number of applications expected, only candidates shortlisted for interview will be notified.

A copy of the Fund’s Candidate Privacy Notice can be found on our website. As an equal opportunities employer, the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund is committed to the equal treatment of all current and prospective employees and does not condone discrimination on the basis of age, disability, sex, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race or ethnicity, religion or belief, gender identity, or marriage and civil partnership. We aspire to have a diverse and inclusive workplace and strongly encourage suitably qualified applicants from a wide range of backgrounds to apply and join the Fund.

The Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund is a Registered Charity (No. 10810090).
