Job Purpose
This is a key role in supporting the work of the organisation through the development and implementation of marketing plans. The post-holder will plan and implement marketing and digital plans for a wide range of BSR projects across our three directorates as well as corporate communications. Managed by the Marketing Manager the role is responsible for planning marketing email and newsletters in Dotdigital, creating digital assets, scheduling and posting social media posts and providing analytics reports for the organisation. This role has interaction with a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders and gives advice and guidance to internal and external colleagues at all levels.

The team:
The Brand, Marketing & Audiences team plays a critical and visible role in the organisation. We lead strategic projects, put engagement into the heart of our campaigns and offer expert advice and analysis to teams across the organisation. Key responsibilities:
- Support the Charity Senior Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing in driving a culture of best in class marketing.
- Communicate charity brand principles to both internal and external audiences appropriately, keeping it at the heart of all marketing initiatives.
- Work with the marketing and communications team to identify new ways to build awareness of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and take an active role in measuring awareness within the hospitals, locally in communities around Chelsea and Sutton, and nationally via the YouGov Charity Index and engagement with preferred research agencies.
- Work with the Charity Senior Marketing Manager to establish clear objectives/KPIs for marketing activity upfront and ensure these are delivered against each brief.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities as agreed with the Charity Senior Marketing Manager to timescale and budget.
- Manage allocated projects, ensuring marketing deliverables and milestones are met. This includes defining the brief and agreeing this with the key Charity stakeholder, defining timings and budgets and gathering quotes. Ensuring work is delivered on time and to budget.
- Manage the day-to-day relationships with our external suppliers, such as printers, freelancers, photographers, and creative agencies on allocated projects.
- Support the Charity Senior Marketing Manager with the delivery of digital marketing activity across the Charity, leading on some discrete activity, managing the appointed digital agency and ensuring briefs are delivered to the agency on time and digital activity KPI’s are clear and measured, with feedback given to key stakeholders accordingly.
- Manage or support (subject to brief) the creative development process across multiple channels, ensuring clear feedback is given to agencies and/or internal teams in a timely manner.
- Produce content and marketing collateral which supports Charity objectives.
Person specification:
- Marketing experience within the not for profit sectors
- Proven track record of leading the delivery of discrete marketing programmes and campaigns – from initial brief to implementation and review and in particular strong experience in direct marketing and marketing of mass participation events
- Experience in all elements of the marketing mix – across multiple channels (both online and offline) as a practical and academic discipline
- Experience of cross matrix working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders of all levels
- Experience of managing creative work (specifically making sure it is delivered to brand)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbal and written including brief writing, copywriting and presentations
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage many different marketing projects simultaneously and manage priorities accordingly
- Effectively establish and report against KPIs which measure success, impact and effectiveness
- Positive attitude with a flexible and agile approach to work
What's on offer:
This role is offering a day rate of £140 - £150 per day PAYE for this initial 3 month contract. The role will be hybrid, with 2 days in their Chelsea or Sutton offices. There is a potential for this role to become permanent.

Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse (AAFDA) is a well-established and respected national charity offering specialist and expert advocacy and peer support to families bereaved by fatal domestic abuse. We have an exciting opportunity to build upon and grow our fundraising success to date, in our newly created Fundraising and Marketing Manager role. We are seeking an experienced fundraising professional, with the drive and determination to manage all aspects of our fundraising function.
AAFDA is currently funded by statutory bodies, trusts and foundations, corporates, events and individuals. Under your management, you will identify, cultivate and grow these existing and new fundraising streams.As AAFDA’s Fundraising and Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for oversight and growth of voluntary and statutory funding income, including from individuals (including regular and one-off gifts, major donors and legacy giving), community groups, trusts and foundations, corporates, the statutory sector (including Police and Crime Commissioners) and other benefactors. Starting from a strong foundation with multiple opportunities for growth, we will support you to develop an ambitious, multi-year, multi-disciplinary a fundraising strategy with an annual fundraising plan agreed with senior management, which you will then implement. With keen funder and customer awareness, you will regularly monitor and review both the plan and the strategy, in addition to working closely with our Finance Manager to manage diverse income streams and achieve income targets to fund AAFDA’s unique support and advocacy work with families bereaved by fatal domestic abuse. Holding responsibility for maintaining and developing the website and building social media programmes, you will undertake an ambassadorial approach in all activity to assist our CEO and Deputy CEO to lead and manage the AAFDA brand and corporate identity, with a focus on generating earned income, by extending awareness of what AAFDA does and how successful we are.
This is a permanent role, subject to funding, but we will work hard (alongside you!) to secure this.

Summary of Role
Reporting to the Head of Income Generation and Marketing, this newly formed role is responsible for helping develop and execute Muslim Aid’s digital marketing strategy, operational plans, digital campaign activities and website management. The role manages and serves as the main contact for Muslim Aid’s Digital Marketing and online suppliers and has day-to-day management of digital marketing operations budget. The role will work the Income Generation and Marketing team and support other functions including volunteer; fundraising; philanthropy and international programmes teams to maximise online impact.
About the Role
