Development and Alumni Relations is expanding, and the Associate Director, London is a key appointment. You will work to build and strengthen our networks of alumni and supporters in London, where many of the University's most important and longstanding supporters are based. You will have the opportunity to work on six- and seven-figure gifts, securing philanthropic support for priorities across the Collegiate University, such as building a new Children's Hospital, ensuring global food security, powering a zero-carbon future, protecting endangered ecosystems, understanding the implications of AI, and ensuring everyone has access to world-leading education, regardless of background.
You will be part of the International and Regional Team, reporting to the Head of Development, London. You will work with academics across the full breadth of the Collegiate University, giving you an opportunity to pursue truly donor-led major gift fundraising. Development Manager

Working with the Development Director, the Development Manager will be responsible for all aspects of our regular giving and young alumni programme:
- Lead a sustainable and effective regular giving programme and increase participation across all year groups through campaigns such as Telethons and Giving Days, sourcing and securing match gifts as needed.
- Face to face fundraising and donor engagement of our small to mid-level donors; cultivating and raising gifts between £1,000 - £10,000 from alumni and friends, managing a pipeline of prospects and building relationships with existing and new prospects.
- Continue developing a student and young alumni programme that offers opportunities for networking and mentoring and encouraging fundraising participation among recent graduates.

Following a recent team restructure, we are now ready to recruit our new Head of Alumni Programming. This position is part of the Alumni Engagement team within the Cambridge University Development and Alumni Relations office. The Alumni Engagement team is accountable for increasing the breadth and depth of engagement with the University's global community of over 320,000 alumni ambassadors, advocates and supporters who are critical to the delivery of our strategic goals and the University of Cambridge's significant potential.
This role will oversee a small team and report directly to the Director of Alumni Engagement. The Head of Alumni Programming is accountable for designing, and implementing an alumni content programme that strengthens alumni connections to each other and the University through the use of a segmented, data-driven approach and targeted engagement.
Working with colleagues within Development and Alumni Relations, the wider University, alumni, and external stakeholders the post-holder will design a content strategy for a global programme of in person and online events, email and social media marketing, hardcopy communications, and alumni websites.
This position is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in data-driven engagement programmes and strong project management experience, as well as excellent organisational, communication and relationship-building credentials. As an EPRM you will be a key contributor to the regional strategy working very much in a one team environment whilst giving you the space to grow and develop your skills. Your role as EPRM will see you work directly with young people and teachers in schools that take part in Young Enterprise programmes such as company programme, day programmes and digital programmes. You will also oversee regional relationships, at local authority level or equivalent.
The EPRM role involves being flexible to the needs of the region and your team and to provide regional leadership. Some of the duties include, which is not an exhaustive list
- Deliver and or support the delivery of Young Enterprise programmes and services in schools, colleges, universities, and youth centres
- Work as part of the regional team to proactively identify and generate sources of local income to support YE programmes.
- Manage and monitor KPIs and local contracts associated with the above tasks through the regional operations plan set out by the Regional Manager.
- Work with the local YE Volunteer Team (LVT), providing support, direction and opportunities to engage with local activity, which may include fundraising, volunteering on programmes and / or promoting our programmes to new school
- Work closely with Programmes & Services team to support the development and delivery of our full suite of programmes, while also developing your own knowledge and understanding of our full suite of programmes and services to promote to schools.
