The Trust is seeking an exceptional individual to be part of the Executive Committee, responsible for leading The Prince's Trust to ensure its life-changing support is safely delivered to children, young people and young adults aged 11-30 across the UK.
You will oversee the delivery of all our lifechanging activity helping over 60,000 young people across the UK each year through direct delivery, digital delivery, and delivery partnerships. Providing exceptional motivational leadership to over 500 colleagues in addition to an extensive volunteer network, you will have responsibility for securing, managing, and influencing senior level partnerships within the public and private sector. The blended delivery team will be aligned with the Customer Services provision, which is the first point of contact for enquires, and subsequently, facilitate the transition of young people to the appropriate support intervention.
You will have experience of leading organisations through significant change and be able to demonstrate effective delivery of a high-level customer service experience to an end-user. Powerful communication and influencing skills, strong contract management experience and proven analytical expertise will be key to this position.

About the Role

In the UK, currently there are around 950,000 young people aged 16-24 who are not in education, employment or training (NEETs). The Trust works with around 55,000 young people across the UK. We support young people through teams of staff, volunteers and delivery partners in three English regions and offices in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Each of the regions and countries has a Director and in the countries they are supported by Country Advisory Councils, which are made up of non-executive volunteers.
This role is responsible for ensuring we maximise our income in compliance with our funding agreements and alerting in a timely manner any issues preventing us from doing so. - CIPD qualification or able to show equivalent ability through work experience
- Sound knowledge of HR Law to give professional advice
- Significant HR experience in an operational environment and experience of creating HR policy
- Knowledge of the RSPB and its mission
- Experience of leading and developing a team of specialists leading to high performance and a positive culture
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present, influence and build partnerships both in and outside of the organisation
- Collaboration skills to build relationships, navigate politics and manage conflicts
- Project management skills and an understanding of project management frameworks to plan and manage risks, costs, and time in project delivery
- Experience of leading change
- Experience of setting standards and managing systems to provide HR business information
