Job description

Due to an internal promotion, we are excited to be recruiting another Programme Officer to build on the great work the charity is doing and to help us achieve more. Right to Succeed is all about bringing the community together to transform outcomes for children. Why? Because we believe every child deserves the right to succeed, no matter where they live.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent organisational and people skills who will be the reliable, positive, “go-to” person for a number of our programme teams. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting our high quality local and national Programme Delivery. This role provides an exciting opportunity to be part of an ambitious, passionate team committed to overcoming inequity and improving outcomes for children and young people.

We are keen to encourage applications from those with lived experience of overcoming one or more of the issues our programmes seek to address, as we understand the extra value that this brings to our programme delivery.

The succesful candidate will play an integral role in supporting staff across multiple programmes with a core focus on ensuring the programmes have the administrative support to enable them to effectively deliver high quality programmes that deliver maximum impact within their respective areas.

The core objectives of the role include, but are not limited to:

  1. Supporting high quality programme delivery

  2. Supporting strategic and operational relationships

  3. Robust programme administration

  4. Supporting programme related external and internal communications activity

The role will initially be a 12-month fixed term contract, but will ideally be extended/become permanent subject to funding.

Please note, due to Covid-19s, we will be carrying out interviews by video-call and the successful candidate will initially be required to work from home (home working equipment provided).
