About the role:
The role is pivotal to the design and implementation of the HR Operating Model and the successful candidate will focus on delivering a first-class candidate pre-employment experience. You will ensure an excellent direct recruitment service to all stakeholders, at the same time providing an excellent candidate experience to anyone who applies for a role.

The role holder will contribute as part the HR team working collaboratively to support effective hiring across multiple functions. About You:
To be successful as the Talent Acquisition Officer, you will be an experienced professional with a proven track record, ideally within both the private sector and the charity or not for profit sector.
You will bring a high level of motivation, skill and ambition to actively source the best talent and simultaneously manage multiple cases/roles. Whilst collaboratively working with stakeholders you will proficiently share your knowledge surrounding employment legislation, bring your excellent interpersonal and communication skills and actively and efficiently work closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager

The Rose Vouchers for Fruit & Veg Project in Southwark has been successfully supporting families with young children to ensure fruit and vegetables are a part of their everyday diet since 2018. As we enter the seventh year of the project, we are now looking for a new member of staff to join the 1st Place Rose Voucher Project team and support our work in delivering the project, while measuring its wider impact on families. Job Summary
As Rose Voucher Project Officer, you will be working alongside the Southwark Rose Voucher Project Lead to forward the development of the Rose Voucher Project in Southwark. Your key areas of responsibility will be registering new families onto the Rose Voucher Project, overseeing the two Rose Voucher distribution sessions which take place at both our centres, supported by our dedicated Rose Voucher volunteers, and coordinating and supporting the ongoing monitoring and evaluation of the Project. You will also provide support to our network of other Rose Voucher distribution centres in Southwark to ensure they are working in a coordinated way and according to agreed processes.
You will be a motivated individual, with excellent written and communication skills, and proven experience of working in a community setting where service users are valued, listened to and respected. Previous experience working with and signposting families is essential to ensure that our Rose Voucher families are aware of the many services and activities available to support and increase their health and wellbeing. Overview
The National Paralympic Heritage Trust (NPHT) has embarked on a new exciting 5-year Strategy – ‘Becoming Seamlessly Inclusive 2023-2028’. To help us on this journey this is an exciting opportunity to join our team as the Trust’s Team Diversity Officer a central and key role to the 5-year strategy and as such our operation and success. The NPHT is a young dynamic and diverse organisation, and a leader in accessible heritage. Role of the Team Diversity Officer
Overall
- To support diversity development and 'Power to the Peoples Framework' across the work of the Trust.
- To oversee volunteering, work placements, Access to Work plus schemes and act as a work coach to two neurodiverse trainees.
Key Responsibilities
- To oversee the volunteer programme with support from the Head of Programmes.
- To manage the access to work programmes.
- To act as work coach to the trainees in accordance with the Access to Work programmes, ensuring they deliver their work plans and have the support they require to deliver them.
- To support the Learning Manager and Collections Engagement Officer with the provision of volunteers for their programmes of work.
- To support the work placements programme and individuals completing them by planning out the work in liaison across the team and helping the Head of Programmes carry out the work.
- To support the Trust’s community board.
- To support other programmes of work as directed.
Meetings and reporting
- The Team Diversity Officer will be employed by the National Paralympic Heritage Trust and be responsible to the Board of Trustees.
- The Team Diversity Officer will report to, be managed and supported by the Head of Programmes.
- The Team Diversity Officer will have monthly meetings with the Head of Programmes reporting on progress and raising any areas of concern.
- Either party may, by written notice to the other, require the holding of a special meeting to discuss any matter of urgency or exceptional importance relating to this agreement.
Period of Contract
March 2024 to end of February 2026.
Contract fee/pay
- The proposed fee is £25,000 a year Pro rata 3 days a week (24 hours).
- In addition to the payment outlined above the Team Diversity Officer will be paid reasonable agreed expenses incurred subject to the supply of receipts/travel expense claim and a stakeholder pension.

The Role

In this role, you will be directly line managed by the UK EDI Manager, taking steer from, and feeding into, the central UK programme of EDI work and will work to support staff specifically in England and will work closely with the England Head of Engagement.

- To provide EDI specialist support, advice and expertise to teams in England who are developing and delivering EDI activities which relate to their specific work areas. This includes work specifically on anti-racism.

We are seeking a self-motivated, flexible and experienced individual to join our dynamic team to help us deliver excellent services to vulnerable women who have experienced domestic abuse and be committed to working in a non-discriminatory manner.
About the role: You will be the first point of contact for victims/survivors of domestic abuse. You will answer calls to the charity’s helpline, dealing with enquiries and referrals from other agencies, and providing immediate emotional and practical support. You will use approved risk assessment tools to triage victims of domestic abuse to the correct BCWA service, for example our refuge or outreach services, or signposting them to external agencies where appropriate. You will need to recognise, respect and address the needs of clients who face particular barriers when seeking help to access the service, including those from diverse communities, LGBTQ communities, people with disabilities, women and girls with complex needs and other hard to reach groups.
