You will be working as part of the London domestic abuse service. Domestic Violence Intervention Project (DVIP), a division of Richmond Fellowship since 2018, has been a leading provider of Respect accredited community perpetrator interventions working to stop domestic violence, increase safety for women and children, and reduce harm to families for over 30 years.
In your role you will need an excellent understanding of the nature of domestic abuse/violence and its effects on women and children. You will have relevant experience of providing one-to-one and/or group-work behavioural change interventions, responding robustly and supportively to challenging and harmful behaviour with adults from diverse backgrounds to reduce risk and facilitate change. This role works within the Yuva team to develop and deliver intervention and safety programmes to families affected by Child to Parent Violence and Young People’s Intimate Partner Violence.

This role requires a robust and detailed understanding and experience of working with adolescent development, domestic abuse, child abuse and trauma, and the impacts of these on young people’s development. - Experience of providing direct work with young people and their parents/carers, working flexibly but robustly and supportively, responding to challenging or harmful behaviour to facilitate change.

The Health IDVA will be employed by FearFree to develop pathways and processes at the Royal Devon University Healthcare (RDUH) NHS Foundation Trust.

FearFree delivers services across the Southwest for victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse and victims of sexual violence. We provide responsive, victim focused, and trauma informed support and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders, and partners experience this in our daily delivery.
The aim of the Interpersonal Trauma Service is to improve the health, wellbeing and safety of people who have been exposed to trauma arising from sexual violence and abuse and/or domestic abuse.
Following a successful trial in several surgeries, this service is now being rolled out across Devon, Plymouth, and Torbay. So, this is a very exciting opportunity to take ownership and be part of an innovative new service, delivering real improvements to the local community.
You will work across a specified number of GP practices, to offer support to health professionals working in practices, people who have experience of interpersonal trauma arising from sexual violence and abuse and/or domestic abuse, as well as a service for people at risk of perpetrating abuse.
You and the team will provide training to GP surgeries to improve identification, enquiry, and response for patients. You and your team will also support adults and children who have been impacted by interpersonal trauma with emotional and practical support, focusing on trauma stabilisation. The team will be responsible for facilitating timely access to further appropriate support services where needed.
Key responsibilities:
- To provide specialist, individual and needs-led domestic violence/ abuse (DVA) and sexual violence (SV) advocacy and support to patients who are or have experienced DVA/SV, who are referred from participating practices or self-refer, and to provide onward referrals where appropriate.
- To provide signposting and onward referrals to patients who are affected by DVA/SV.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with general practice teams.
- To provide ongoing specialist advice and support around DVA and SV to practice teams.

The post of Sessional Group Facilitator will provide support to victims of domestic abuse and sexual violence within group work provision.
At FearFree we run various trauma-informed groups for victims, such as: Empowering You, an educational domestic abuse online support group; Rediscovering You, a face-to-face emotional wellbeing recovery group; Inspiring Families, a ‘whole family’ approach to support; House to Home, supporting those having to flee domestic abuse; and a children’s and young person’s group work provision.
We are looking for experienced and motivated staff to join our team to help deliver the group work programmes we run around locations in Wiltshire. Groups run in the morning, afternoon and evening. Training for the groups will be provided.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- To facilitate group work provisions across the Wiltshire Service.

The post of Group Work Facilitator will provide support to victims of domestic abuse and sexual violence within group work provision.
At FearFree we run various trauma-informed groups for victims such as: Hope2Recovery, an educational domestic abuse online support group; Rediscovering You, a face-to-face emotional wellbeing recovery group; Inspiring Families, a ‘whole family’ approach to support; and a Living Skills group supporting those having to flee domestic abuse.
We are looking for experienced and motivated staff to join us to help deliver the group work programmes we run around locations in Wiltshire. Groups run in the morning, afternoon and evening. Training for the groups will be provided.
In addition to facilitating groups, staff will be asked to attend training events and meetings, including regular supervision.
This is a fixed term role until November 2025, with the potential to become permanent subject to funding.

At FearFree we are proud to deliver services across the Southwest, and we're excited to be expanding our offer, with the introduction of a new Education, Training and Employment (ETE) Service. We have a full time vacancy (37 hours per week).
As a Support Advisor you will be a fundamental part of our team, supporting the delivery of the ETE programmes and the development of the service. The service will provide a range of trauma-informed and person-centred support, focused on supporting those impacted by abuse to access education, training, employment or volunteering.
You will be responsible for providing trauma informed support through group work and 1-1 support. Working alongside a team of practitioners across our geographical patch in Devon. The project aims to:
- Increase volunteers in FearFree and support people to access volunteering opportunities externally.
- Support individuals impacted by abuse to access training and employment.
- Help people access bespoke apprenticeships and internships.
- Support service users to increase and advance work related skills, such as the development of CVs, financial management and IT skills.
- Raise awareness of this agenda to a wider network.
The service will support victims of Domestic Abuse, Sexual Violence and Stalking aged 15 and above, alongside perpetrators of Domestic Abuse – empowering victims and reducing the risk of recidivism for perpetrators.
Our ideal candidate will have experience in working with vulnerable people and an understanding / experience of the ETE sector. They will have an understanding of trauma informed practice and ideally have experience implementing this within group and 1-1 settings. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate an understanding of Employability skills and will demonstrate the ability to proactively engage with both local employers and local support networks/organisations to promote the skills of the individuals they are supporting.

Main responsibilites and tasks
- Work closely with the service manager to set up and develop the service, supporting its ongoing growth and expansion.
- Triage and assess service users to consider their suitability for the ETE Service.
- Utilise a trauma informed approach to help people return to or access ETE.
- Support individuals to increase work related skills, such as the development of CV writing, financial management and IT skills.
- Work with a diverse client group, creating bespoke action and support plans for each individual.
- Facilitate group support sessions in addition to one-to-one support
- With support and advice from the Service manager, support and help develop new groups following a trauma informed approach.
- Build and further developing relationships/links with ETE providers and corporate partners to expand the provision for our service users.
- Risk assess those you are supporting and take proactive action to address risk and safeguarding concerns.
- Play an active role in the recruitment process of volunteers in addition to management of volunteers ensuring they are kept up to date and involved in the organisation, alongside able to support our service users.
- Ensure risk assessments are completed where required and safety plans are completed on time and regularly.
- Work closely with the services across FearFree, developing close working relationships and supporting clients who may be accessing support from our other services.
- Record all contact with service users and abide by confidentiality requirements.
- Record and monitor data to enable the service to be fully evaluated.
- Car ownership and travel across our area is a requirement for this role.
