Location: The candidate will be based in Birmingham, where they will work from home for the majority of the time (with monthly travel to the All Team meeting in London, and occassional additional travel). There will also be opportunities to meet with a small number of other Stonewall Housing staff based in Birmingham.

Role context: Stonewall Housing is currently growing its Development Team, and this Fundraising Officer will play an integral part in maximising Stonewall Housing’s income and raising its profile across the UK (with a particular focus on building relationships and partnerships in Birmingham and the surrounding area). It’s an exciting opportunity for the right person to make this role their own and to bring innovative ideas to our organisation.

Days per week: This role can be for 3 or 4 days per week depending on the candidate's preference.

Please note: The salary advertised includes London weighting. If the successful candidate chooses to include London weighting in their salary, they would be responsible for covering the cost of their own transport when travelling in for the monthly All Team meeting held in London Liverpool Street, and occasional other travel. If the successful candidate chose not to include London weighting in their salary, Stonewall Housing would be responsible for covering the cost of all required travel.

In the role, you’ll be:

1. You’ll be building relationships with a wide range of individuals, community supporters, networks and local groups to fundraise and build awareness of Stonewall Housing’s mission, with a particular focus on Birmingham-based individuals and organisations.
2. Working with the Development Officer and Community and Events Fundraising Specialist on community fundraiser stewardship, where you’ll be providing support to individuals and groups fundraising for Stonewall Housing through their own events or running and challenge activities.
3. Supporting the Development Officer and Community and Events Fundraising Specialist with refining, developing and implementing our annual programme of Stonewall Housing-led events, including cultivation, stewardship and fundraising events.
4. Working with the Development Team to develop Stonewall Housing’s Legacy Giving programme, ‘Over the Rainbow’.
5. Supporting the Training Lead by delivering engaging in-person and virtual training sessions and workshops to other organisations and networks across the public and private sectors. You’ll be empowering teams of all sizes to confidently meet the needs of LGBTQ+ people in their staff team or accessing their services. You will receive comprehensive and bespoke Stonewall Housing training in how to best deliver these sessions. 
6. Supporting the Development Team and the wider organisation by taking part in external panels and speaking engagement opportunities, confidently representing the work of Stonewall Housing.
7. Developing new compelling cases for support both for individual donors and for broader fundraising activities.
8. Using data and evidence to monitor KPIs and track trends, helping the Development Team make informed decisions.
9. Supporting the wider Development Team with the day-to-day running of fundraising, comms, and awareness activity.

Your experience:

· Experience of developing and enacting ambitious strategic plans for a fundraising area (this could be Community Giving, Events, Individual Giving, Corporate Giving, or similar).

· Demonstrable understanding of implementing best practice to fundraising activities.

· A track record of building positive and prosperous relationships with supporters.

· Experience of developing engaging supporter journeys.

Your skills and attributes:

· Confident and enthusiastic public speaker, at both in person or virtual events.

· A creative problem solver with a solutions-focussed outlook.

· Excellent team player who likes to get stuck into new tasks and action groups.

· Organised, efficient and driven.

· Up-to-date knowledge of website donation tools (e.g. JustGiving etc).

· Computer literate in Excel, Word and Outlook.

· Working knowledge of best practice and the compliance and financial issues around fundraising (Gift Aid, GDPR etc).

· Experience in delivering training to organisations, networks or community groups.

· Experience in coordinating fundraising events.

· Experience of managing projects remotely, including using tools such as Trello.

· Proficiency in using a fundraising CRM package (we use Donorfy).

· To work as part of a mostly-remote team, embracing online communication and collaboration tools.

· To receive regular supervision from the line manager and attend training courses as required.

You will help maximise supporter recruitment and development opportunities whilst ensuring long-term growth for St Giles Hospice.

The Cleft Lip and Palate Association (CLAPA) is the national charity for people affected by cleft lip and palate in the United Kingdom.

CLAPA supports people affected by cleft to take control of their journey, connect with others, and use their voices to impact the future of care. Our vision is that no one affected by cleft lip and palate in the United Kingdom will go through their journey alone.

We are seeking a Fundraising Coordinator (Individual Giving) to join our small but dynamic Fundraising team.

The role requires excellent donor care and stewardship skills. All forms of communication will be required including the proactive use of digital channels such as the website and social media platforms.

The Individual Giving Fundraiser will play a vital role in increasing income from our existing supporters. You will support donor acquisition as well as taking the lead on retention of our supporters across multiple channels including cash appeals, regular giving, lottery and in celebration giving. The role will also support the Head of Income in the delivery of a legacy and major donor program.

You will develop and deliver excellent stewardship programmes that drive retention by deepening audience understanding of the challenges that people affected by cleft face and the impact that their donations make. ROLE SUMMARY
The Global Grants and Engagement Manager is responsible for managing the Grants Programme of ProVeg International and leading the activities and staff within the ProVeg International Grants team. You will ensure the global grantmaking of ProVeg International aligns with its mission and goals, while also engaging with key players in the global plant-based movement, and raising funds for the Grants programme and other movement-building activities.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Grants Programme :

• Team-lead for ProVeg Grants team, including direct line management of Grants Programme Manager.

• Oversee quarterly grantmaking process, including reviewing and evaluating proposals, and providing recommendations aligned with ProVeg International’s grantmaking criteria.

• Ensure that all grantmaking is aligned and approved by all decision makers, including CEO, funder network, and Board Members. 

• Oversee the team to ensure that all grants admin is fulfilled, including due diligence, and payment processing aligned with US regulations; accurately tracked grant records; queries are responded to timely, etc.

• Oversee and optimise grantmaking process infrastructure, and regularly implement improvements as needed.

• Oversee and optimise further capacity building initiatives developed for global grantee network

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Research and identify potential grant opportunities from foundations, donors, and other sources aligned with ProVeg's mission.

• Collaborate with internal teams to develop engagement strategies for stakeholders including donors, grantees, and supporters.

• Build and nurture relationships with existing and potential donors, foundations, and funding organisations to cultivate support for ProVeg's programmes and initiatives.

• Represent ProVeg at meetings, conferences, and events to promote our mission and establish strategic partnerships.

• Develop and oversee strategies to engage with individuals and organisations through digital platforms, including social media, email campaigns, and virtual events.

Strategic Development:

• Continue to develop the Strategy of ProVeg Grants Programme in alignment with ProVeg International’s global strategy and the wider plant-based advocacy/food system transformation movement.

• Ensure alignment, communication and collaboration across ProVeg International’s wider network and global initiatives.

Monitoring and Reporting:

• Track and evaluate grant programme’s performance against established goals and objectives, providing regular updates to stakeholders.

• Prepare timely and accurate reports for funders, highlighting project achievements, impact, and financial accountability.

• Monitor Grants Programme budgets, expenditures, and timelines to ensure effective utilisation of funds and compliance with funder requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in grantmaking and donor relations in the nonprofit sector is a must.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as nonprofit management, international development, communications, or related field). Master's degree preferred.

• Highly organised and able to translate complex ideas into tangible and actionable tasks.

• Proven track record of successfully securing grants from diverse funding sources.

• Strong communication skills, including exceptional writing and editing abilities.

• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders.

• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Experience working with databases and grant management software (HubSpot).

• Passion for and commitment to ProVeg's mission.

• Travel once per quarter for 4-5 days per trip will be likely.

This role sits in our brand-new Philanthropy and Partnership’s Prospect Research and Engagement team.  This team will be responsible for ensuring direct fundraisers are equipped to make compelling asks and steward donors. This role will help drive growth and sustainability of high value giving by creating a donor stewardship strategy and delivery framework that provides a range of relevant, impactful and high-quality stewardship communications, events and other meaningful opportunities that build loyalty and connection with Cats Protection. As part of this the role will deliver large-scale special events as well as develop and deliver a programme of bespoke private events that help encourage greater levels of support and long-term relationships.

Part 1: Role Purpose:

We are seeking an outstanding Programmes Officer for an exciting opportunity to support Street Child’s programme portfolio in Liberia and Sierra Leone. This role will cut across Street Child’s programming in the region, including a specific focus on the $12.8m Education for Every Child Today (EFECT) Project which aims to enrol 96,000 out of school children in school across West Africa over a 4-year period.

The key objectives of this role are to work closely with Street Child’s federal partners to support the effective implementation of adaptive programming, and to support accurate and timely donor reporting across a range of institutional, trust & foundations, and corporate donors. The ideal candidate will have strong written and excel skills, with experience of MEAL and financial management processes. The role will engage regular, detailed interaction with Street Child’s UK and European fundraising community.

The role holder will work in close collaboration with Street Child’s regional Head of Programmes, based in Freetown, as well as partner Programmes, MEAL and Finance teams to coordinate timely and quality implementation and reporting across the programmes portfolio.

Based in Monrovia, whilst serving a regional brief, the role-holder will be expected to be especially involved in supporting the programmes, and wider life, of Street Child of Liberia. This aspect of the role in particular demands a confident, ‘self-sufficient’ and motivated personality – who is excited by the opportunity and attendant career potential, as opposed to being overawed by the inevitable, multi-dimensional challenges.

Part 2: Key Responsibilities:

Reporting & Programme Funding Engagement – 35%

• Review narrative and financial quarterly reporting from country teams and provide feedback.
• Lead on the consolidation of narrative reporting (low-mid value donors) for a variety of donors within the portfolio.
• Ensure regular information flow to Street Child communications and fundraising teams, inclusive of collection and drafting of case studies and photos.
• Supporting income-generation opportunities - potentially including supporting donor visits, in-country donor engagement and broad-based support to the group’s global programme-funding efforts for both Liberia and Sierra Leone.

Programme & MEAL Management – 35%

• Work in collaboration with national partner and cross-country implementation teams across Liberia and Sierra Leone to ensure quality and timely implementation of project activities.
• Work alongside social, enterprise and education teams across both countries to support a joined-up approach to project implementation and MEAL, ensuring relevant data are collected with due care and utilised for project planning, reporting and learning.
• Provide strong support to EFECT programme staff and partners in Liberia & Sierra Leone in programme and MEAL department.
• Alongside colleagues provide training, guidance and advice to partner delivery staff to ensure effective and accurate use of programme documents and tools.
• In liaison with Safeguarding Focal Points monitor safeguarding policies ensuring adequate implementation of policies and procedures, and support to close feedback loops with partners & project participants.
• Provide capacity strengthening to Street Child Colleagues where possible.

Financial Support – 25%

• Support the country teams in compiling requisitions in line with programme forecasts and budgets.
• Support on the collation of financial reporting requirements for low-mid value donors.
• Support on tracking of donors & match funding within the EFECT programme.

Other – 5%

• Coordinating staff, stakeholders and donor visits.

As Welfare Officer you will work alongside four National Support Coordinators, ensuring our members receive welfare and benefit related information, advice, and guidance via telephone, zoom meetings, and email.

Who are we?

Myaware is the only charity in the UK dedicated solely to the care and support of people affected by myasthenia. 

We are working hard to raise awareness, as it is a little-unknown condition. We provide support for people with myasthenia and their families, whilst offering advice and tips for living with the illness. 

We also fund the research that brings us closer to finding a cure as well as funding specialists nurses and advisors.

The myasthenia’s are a group of neuromuscular conditions. They are rare but also manageable and can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender, or nationality. Myasthenia gravis, ocular myasthenia, and Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome are autoimmune conditions whereas congenital myasthenic syndrome is caused by an inherited genetic fault. It is thought that there are approximately 20,000 people currently living with myasthenia in the UK.

Events is a relatively new area for the charity and we anticipate the events programme will, in the main, support our corporate partnerships and provide a varied package of engagement opportunities for our growing base of employee volunteers. These, and other events, will help raise vital funds as well as networking and new business development opportunities. 

We’re looking for someone who has experience of a similar role/s. You will have great people skills and have experience of building and maintaining strong relationships. You will be enthusiastic, energetic and with a can-do attitude who enjoys planning and organising and is not phased with periods of high intensity. You will have a positive approach and enjoy working as part of a team.

Role purpose:

The Partnerships & Income Operations Manager plays a multifaceted role encompassing driving pipeline prospecting efforts, managing certain impact reporting initiatives, and nurturing corporate partnerships. This pivotal role serves as a primary point of contact for coordinating various aspects of partnership development, impact reporting, and fundraising activities.

Main responsibilities and accountabilities:

 Corporate Partnerships:

· Lead a portfolio of lower to mid-value corporate donors, cultivating relationships and maximising engagement aligned with organisational objectives.

· Balance support between existing partnership management and developing new business opportunities, including mid to higher value partnerships.

 Pipeline Prospecting:

· Lead the identification and cultivation of prospective corporate donors, both new and potential.

· Utilise relationship management expertise and networking acumen to proactively identify opportunities for engagement in alignment with our balanced scorecard objectives.

· Act as a primary point of contact for inbound and outbound leads, collaborating with the Communications Team on outreach campaigns to drive lead generation and partnership engagement.

· Ensure a seamless experience for prospects entering the organisation, guiding them through the employer customer journey.

· Support the engagement of targeted employers in key sectors and regions, collaborating with income generation colleagues to develop mid to higher value prospects.

· Support the development of bids and pitches, connecting colleagues into their contributions across those efforts.

Engagement Tracking:

· Develop and maintain an Excel document to meticulously track engagement levels and interaction points with stakeholders.

· Coordinate the launch and delivery of quarterly board breakfasts, led by our board members; Manage logistics and invitations for board breakfasts to ensure successful networking opportunities.

· Facilitate a minimum of 10 executive meetings from our existing corporate partner portfolio per quarter with our CEO

· Coordinate the launch and delivery of quarterly sector-specific breakfasts to engage key individuals from existing partners; Coordinate with hosting partners and relevant attendees to ensure successful networking events.

Impact Reporting:

 · Coordinate, own, and update the employer impact reporting calendar for Partnerships and Income, ensuring proactive management of reporting deadlines and deliverables.

· Serve as the templated annual review impact report document owner, ensuring colleagues are familiar with its usage and providing necessary guidance.

· Maintain and update the fundraising FAQs document, acting as the point of contact for the team regarding any new questions and ensuring incorporation of new queries into the document.

Additional Duties:

· Collaborate with colleagues to gather necessary information for impact reporting and fundraising FAQs, coordinating with experts as needed.

· Assist in the development and updating of key information packs and documents related to impact reporting and fundraising.
