Main purpose of job:
To provide practical and emotional support to victims and survivors of domestic violence and abuse, through both face to face and telephone support. To develop individual support plans which address the risk of harm, and to offer information, advocacy and sign-posting to survivors on a risk and needs led basis. To support and empower survivors, thereby increasing self-esteem and reducing isolation.
Responsible to: Operations Manager
Location: Primarily office based at Harbour House, Portway and some community work.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Support for victims and survivors of domestic abuse:
To provide community based outreach support to victims of domestic abuse, which enables them to make informed choices and explore coping strategies
To liaise and work with other Preston Domestic Violence Services staff in delivering outreach support
To complete documentation for each client including a detailed needs assessment and action plan.
To monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the support provided, capture client satisfaction and contribute to the production of evidence based reports.
To provide practical assistance to victims where necessary, including liaison with relevant agencies such as solicitors, housing providers, children’s care services, education settings, etc.
To ensure victims are informed of their benefit entitlements and to assist in claiming these if requested. To provide emotional support and where necessary to refer to other agencies as appropriate.
To assist victims to develop social networks within their neighbourhood and also assist them further develop their life skills, including access to training and employment.
To attend appropriate meetings with and on behalf of victims.
To publicise the outreach service to ensure funder targets are met
To provide management with monthly monitoring figures
To implement PDVS’s procedures for monitoring and reviewing/evaluating the service provided.
To keep concise records on each victim supported

The role
Our Someone Like Me peer support service ensures nobody has to face breast cancer alone. We match people affected by breast cancer with a trained volunteer who’s had a similar experience and can offer support by telephone or email.
In this role, you will deliver this service by ensuring the best possible match between service users and volunteers.
You will also assist with recruitment, training, supporting, and coordinating volunteers involved in the delivery of the service.
About you
You’ll be passionate about supporting people affected by breast cancer and helping us to improve the support we provide.
You’ll have excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to deal confidently and sensitively with people who can sometimes be distressed, whilst maintaining professional boundaries. You’ll be used to supporting or working closely with volunteers and providing information or support services, possibly in a health or social care setting.
You will also be confident in dealing with sensitive and confidential information. You will have excellent IT skills and be able to enjoy working as part of a busy team.

Primary location of role and hybrid working
This role is primarily based in our Sheffield office. However, our hybrid working model allows you to work up to 3 days per week at home, following your induction.

Our staff and volunteers provide friendship and practical help to families experiencing stress or difficulties, including poverty, post-natal depression, domestic abuse, mental ill-health, isolation, and other challenges leading to crisis.
We are advertising for a Family Coordinator to join our small, amazing charity. Working alongside our team of Family Coordinators, you will oversee the work of our home-visiting volunteers, ensuring that the support they provide to families is targeted, high quality and empowers them to reach their goals.
You will also lead the delivery of our domestic abuse work. This includes the development and delivery of the Freedom Programme; a 7-week course to help survivors of domestic abuse understand and recover from their experiences.
We are looking for a well-organised person, familiar with office systems, who can demonstrate empathy and good communication and interpersonal skills. Parenting experience, experience of working with disadvantaged families and survivors of domestic abuse would be advantageous.
This role involves significant amounts of travel around Lambeth visiting families and attending meetings. Reasonable travel expenses, other than from home to base, will be reimbursed. Please note that currently the Freedom Programme is delivered remotely via Zoom on Tuesday evenings from 7-9pm via Zoom.

Job Description
· Be responsible for the execution of campaigns, content excellence, and activities to attract volunteers to Bookmark and to engage existing members of Bookmark’s community.
· Lead and oversee the strategic delivery of digital marketing campaigns to meet our goals and develop towards our growth targets.
· Work with the Head of Marketing to explore and develop marketing campaigns, using data to inform decisions.
· Be comfortable using a range of channels, including external agencies, to meet targets, ensuring good value for money and ROI.
· Actively engage with stakeholder groups and support functions to assuage delivery of our goals.
· Lead on brand partnerships to maximise potential opportunities and manage execution.
· Lead on the organisation and delivery of termly photography and videography campaign development.
· Deliver cross-functional marketing support, utilising and managing team resources; collateral, assets and event support when required.
· Manage a team of two, including a part-time graphic designer, to deliver marketing activities according to the charity’s marketing calendar.

Person Specification
Essential:
· A degree in Marketing or relevant equivalent subject and 3 years minimum of experience in a similar role
· Significant demonstrable capability and experience building, analysing and optimising digital campaigns for performance; either directly or indirectly through an agency.
· Data-driven with strong analytical skills
· Excellent project management skills; must be able to work across multiple projects and works streams, both autonomously and in collaboration.
· A confident and engaging communicator, with excellent interpersonal communications skills
· Proven technical experience working in ad management platforms (particularly Meta and Google) and utilising data to drive strategy and decisions.
· CRM management experience; making data-led decisions to deliver marketing strategies, operating through personalisation, optimisation and appropriate segmentations to engage with audiences
· A collaborative team player, with proven people management and leadership qualities.
· Proven experience in building internal relationships and fostering collaboration across teams and departments.
· Superb time-management and excellent attention to detail.
· A true passion for Bookmark’s mission, to give every child the opportunity to discover the joy of reading, and the ability to creatively communicate it across various channels.
Desirable
· History of working within a range of CMS’s.
· Salesforce experience and knowledge.
