Pension Pension scheme with 3% employer contribution

Holiday entitlement             Term time hours (holiday entitlement rolled up into hourly rate)

Beacon Counselling is a registered charity that exists to improve mental health and well-being for all. Beacon provides counselling to children and young people at various schools throughout Greater Manchester. As part of our continued development as a charity we are recruiting to add another counsellor to our growing CYP team providing counselling to pupils at a number of schools across Greater Manchester.

Working closely the Children’s Service Manager, CSM assistant and counselling colleagues, you will play a vital role in Beacon’s commitment to delivering high quality mental health services. As well as being a skilled therapist, you will have a passion for improving the mental health of children and young people and able to act as an ambassador for Beacon within the school. You will be comfortable delivering presentations as part of school assemblies and also providing formal support to some staff within schools.

We are looking for someone who is motivated to succeed through working autonomously and with others, has high standards of work, and is passionate about seeing the best outcomes for clients, ensuring Beacon builds on its success in helping others.
