We are looking to recruit a HOPELINE247 Manager to enable the delivery of an outstanding suicide prevention helpline, through the effective management of HOPELINE247 advisers, alongside the promotion and development of the service.
What you will do:
Provide leadership, guidance, and effective line management to a team of suicide prevention advisers.
Ensure a consistent and high-quality service is delivered through effective quality assurance processes.
Manage staffing and resources effectively to ensure the efficient running of the helpline service.
Risk assess and provide advice and guidance to the team, in relation to safeguarding matters, in line with policy and procedures.
Provide ad hoc rota cover to support a range of clients via multi-channel communications, adhering to HOPELINE247 remit at all times.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A proven track record of building and managing an effective team, supporting their development and managing their performance.
Previous experience of building, developing and managing effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders in the community, voluntary, statutory and political settings.
Previous successful experience of working in suicide prevention or mental health.
Awareness of the issues around safeguarding and how these can affect young people and adults at risk.
Degree level or a professional qualification in Health, Nursing, Social Work, Community Work or a related discipline.
Salary: £34,224 per annum (Scale point 29), progressing by increments to £36,869.25 per annum (Scale point 32). As a night shift worker, you will receive an additional allowance of £10 per night shift. This will be paid on a monthly basis along with the salary.
Hours: 33 hours per week
Working arrangements: This role will work shifts starting at 10:25pm and finishing at 07:40am. Shifts will be on a rota bases across a 7-day working week. 33 hours will be based upon working 4 nights shifts per week.

My client, a fantastic national Charity now has an urgent interim requirement for a Senior HR Adviser to join their HR team for an initial 3-6 month period. Please note, this role offers fully remote working and requires a full-time, 35 hours per week commitment.
This organisation is looking to deliver a rapid review and overhaul of its HR service that currently supports approximately 300 colleagues and is looking for someone to provide additional support in the initial phases of this transition. As Senior HR Adviser you will work as part of a small HR team to provide a generalist HR service to the organisation, whilst also helping to drive the function forward by reviewing, identifying and recommending areas for future HR development and investment. Particular focuses in the short-term will include supporting managers to resolve a range of ER issues cases such as performance and sickness absence, updating a suite of HR policies, supporting the development of a new performance framework and reward and recognition framework, looking at current recruitment practices, particularly through an EDI lens, supporting the development of wellbeing initiatives, exploring opportunities to increase usage and impact from the HRIS, and lots more!
This role will suit a proactive HR professional with a proven and demonstrable breadth of generalist HR advisory experience and knowledge spanning the full employee lifecycle and HR remit. Importantly, my client is looking for a self-starter with a flexible and adaptable approach to tackling what needs to be done, and who thrives in a fast-moving, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will also enjoy using their initiative to identify opportunities and drive improvements in HR processes, practices and impacts, and also bring a very hands-on approach to getting things done.

Overall Duties of the role will include:
- Being an accessible point of contact for the children living with our carers and to our young people, keeping them up to date with the facilities and opportunities available with TACT
- Providing support to children with emotional welfare and mental health needs
- Supporting interventions and activities to ensure stable placement arrangements
- Being able to transport children and young people to events, appointments and meetings (mileage reimbursed)
- Organising and participating in virtual and face-to-face events and occasional residential meet-ups
- Managing all paperwork associated with events and activities
- Willingness to work flexibly, according to deadlines and needs of our families which may include some after-school, evening and weekend work
- Undertaking trauma-informed direct work with children and young people
The successful candidate must also be willing and able to travel to the Yorkshire area quarterly for face-to-face team meetings, training, and wellbeing events with the potential for occasional travel to other areas around the UK to facilitate children's residential stays.
