The Youth and Community Programmes team are looking for a Community Programmes Lead worker to support a broad range of activities aimed mainly at young people and over 50’s. Activities are delivered mainly over evenings and weekends aimed at making our community an inspirational place.
You will lead on session delivery and support the planning of programmes. You will manage and coordinate sessional workers, volunteers and workshop leaders working in sessions.

Summary
- Devise and implement a UK church engagement plan, as agreed by RLN director.
- With prayer and resources, support a growing movement of churches engaging with Difference and the ministry of reconciliation.
- Develop external relationships and partnerships to engage new audiences with Difference. Proactively connect with churches, chaplaincies, schools, organisations and networks, with the aim to see significant increase in the number of groups running Difference.

INTRODUCTION TO THE ROLE
Girls Not Brides is seeking an experienced digital communications professional to manage the Girls Not Brides website in English, French and Spanish, including website development, maintenance, continuous improvement planning, infrastructure, architecture, and user journey. You will be responsible for implementing a website improvement project and a new members area. This role will also be responsible for developing and producing performance data, evaluation, and reporting across our digital channels. We are looking for someone who has a passion for managing websites, using data to improve performance and engagement, and using digital platforms to drive movements. The successful applicant will support across our digital channels. This role sits in the Communications Team and reports to the Communications Manager. You will work closely with external website developers to deliver a website that showcases Girls Not Brides and our role as the global movement to end child marriage.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Girls Not Brides website (70%)
- Lead the development and implementation of the website improvement strategy and project plan, with support from the Communications Manager.
- Recommend and manage changes to the website architecture, front-end design, features, integrations, and user-journey improvements.
- Manage the day-to-day of activity of Girls Not Brides website, including uploading content in 3 languages (English, French and Spanish), optimising content for web, updating static pages when needed, and recommending updates and upgrades to the CMS.
- Responsible for managing website projects, including the upgrade, update and support and maintenance pipeline, as well as larger-scale changes to website functionality and architecture, managing external contractors to produce the work required on time and within budget.
- Research and implementing best-practices for search engine optimisation (SEO) across website copy and architecture.

Our Origin Tenants' Voices (OTV) project has been working in the Somers Town area of the London Borough of Camden with Origin Housing tenants for almost 2 years now.
Having obtained more Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) funding from the Council, we can now employ someone to work in the ward for 3 days instead of the original 2 per week, which will enable us actively engage with and listen to a wider variety of tenants about their concerns relating to their housing and the wider changes taking place in the area.
Please note: You will need to be based in/around London for this role as it mainly involves direct work within the Somers Town community.
Project management:
- To plan and deliver the project to all agreed deadlines, milestones and targets
- To manage the project budget in liaison with CFPT’s Assistant Organiser
- To record all relevant data and statistics relating to the project

We are looking for a collaborative and engaging lead to work in our Business and Investor Engagement (B&IE) team to grow and build relationships with the UK food sector. This role will oversee the charity’s engagement with the business community, with a particular focus on the Out of Home and manufacturing sectors. We a re a dynamic and caring team
We are based in Acton, West London, 2 minute walk from Acton Main Line, with the Elizabeth line and 10 minutes walk from Central Acton central line.
We are a 24/7 service, and operate a 4 week rolling program which includes early shifts 8-4, late shifts 2-10 and weekend work, no sleep ins.
Support Workers will provide support to customers to help them develop the life skills they require to meet the assessed needs of the customers of the service. They will work with customers to promote social inclusion and alongside other members of the team to promote independent living, encouraging customers to maximise their skills and choices.

Salary: £28,770 starting salary (salary range will increase due to max £31,364 via the length of service) per annum (pro rata where applicable).
Contract: Fixed Term basis until 30 April 2025
Hours: Part-time 28 hours per week (excluding lunch breaks)
Location: This role is London-based, with regular travel to the Refugee Action London office, and some flexibility on hybrid working.

We are a national charity with more than 40 years’ experience of empowering people who’ve survived some of the world’s worst regimes to secure the protection and support that they need to live with dignity and respect and build a new life in the UK. We do this by providing expert advice and casework, building the capacity of partner organisations and campaigning on the policies that affect them.
We are looking for a Community Engagement Coordinator to join our Fundraising and Campaigns teams. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience of campaigning and organising to help us shape our community engagement plans.
As Community Engagement Coordinator, you will steward and engage supporters, developing activist packs and engagement opportunities, supporting on delivering campaigning events and help us develop our brand new Speakers Group. Working across the Fundraising and Campaigns teams, you will be fundamental in helping us to shift the narrative around people seeking safety in the UK to create a welcoming and anti-racist society.
To succeed in the role you will need to demonstrate:
- Commitment to removing barriers to power for people with lived experience, and commitment to anti-racist practices.
- Understanding of how the UK’s hostile refugee protection and asylum system impacts those affected by it.
- Passion and motivation to raise vital funds to support refugees and people seeking asylum in the UK.
- Effective time management who can well to tight deadlines.
- Excellent organisational skills to help develop and deliver campaign events.
- Ability to collaborate and work supportively and effectively within a team.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Able to work with a high level of attention to detail.
- Understanding of cultural diversity and the ability to work with people from a range of different cultures.
- Experience of activism and community organising.
- Passion for and interest in delivering engaging and motivating activism plans.
