We’re seeking a Data Engineer to join our valued and supportive Data team at Pancreatic Cancer UK!
We are expanding our team, and this new role is a great opportunity to join a growing and ambitious charity at an exciting time especially with our new SQL data warehouse (a developing infrastructure) and a busy programme of data development.
You will be pivotal in our drive to be an organisation that is driven by data and insight. This role presents an excellent opportunity to develop and collaborate with teams across the organisation and third parties, contributing to the development of data solutions for various aspects of our work. This role’s focus will be on developing and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our audience data.
About You
· You are proficient in designing and maintaining robust data pipelines, with the ability to build queries within a SQL environment.
· You will also have a working knowledge of working with data engineering technologies for example ADLS, ADF, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, and Azure Synapse, PowerBI, and can create E2E data processing pipelines.
· Experience of building and optimising data queries and skilled in manipulating, processing, and preparation of datasets; for example, ability to build stored procedures, CTE’s, de-normalise datasets.
· You are a motivated Data Engineer looking to support the development and optimisation of data infrastructure and reporting across the organisation.
· Effective communication is key to this role, as you will manage relationships with teams throughout the charity to drive data engineering projects.

This Data Analyst role is pivotal in our drive to be an organisation that makes evidence-based decisions. Using data insight to improve our fundraising and engagement initiatives, supporting our marketing, campaigning, and services planning. You will help us to deepen engagement and enhance the experience our audiences have with us.
You will work on delivering accurate and high-quality analysis and reporting which meets stakeholder expectations and makes an impact, contributing to Pancreatic Cancer UK’s mission. This will involve developing analysis of income generation performance, audience interactions and delivering insights to underpin and inform the direction of our engagement strategy across the charity.
About You
· You are a motivated to support the development and optimisation of data infrastructure and reporting across the organisation.
· You excel in analysing data to derive valuable insights and support decision-making processes. Your expertise lies in interpreting data using tools such as Power BI and Fast stats to analyse and communicate insights.
· Effective communication is key this role, as you will manage relationships with teams throughout the charity to drive data engineering projects.
· You can utilise tools for designing and implementing data pipelines, ensuring the delivery of efficient dashboards, reporting and analysis to stakeholders.

Stewardship has a mission to activate giving, making it joyful and easy – helping Christians support the causes they love, right when they need it. The role
Join us as our Principal M&E Engineer (Projects) and drive our M&E refurbishment program (Circa £4M to £6M per annum) across our diverse portfolio of M&E assets, from our mechanised locks and bridges – some of the oldest in the UK, pumping stations and water control structures, not to mention the historic Anderton Boat Lift as well as the very new. You will assess outputs from inspections, design and develop solutions, and produce specifications, and briefs to deliver works through our national framework contractors or in-house M&E delivery teams. As we build our Haverhill Pilot Plant we are looking to hire an apprentice Plant Maintenance Engineer to join and learn within our growing team.
Your main duties will include:

Location
Our light, spacious head office is based in a fantastic location in central London with views over St James’s Park and close to the West End. We operate hybrid, flexible working practices with a baseline for office-based working of a mandatory weekly team day plus further days each week as required for the role and the Academy.

Main Areas of Responsibility
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working in conjunction with the Cyber Security Team, Infrastructure Team and Service Delivery to act as a conduit between all teams to ensure vulnerabilities are being monitored, tracked and remediated
- Participating in proactive and reactive threat hunting
- Executing vulnerability assessments, provide analysis and recommendations to mitigate potential threats
- Working with the Cyber Security Team and Infrastructure Team to perform penetration tests
- Make sure best practices are adhered to when handling security threats and breaches and conducting investigation techniques, such as CIS benchmark, ISO27001 and NCSC
- Continuously researching and investigating new and emerging vulnerabilities including Zero Day events, and participating in external security communities, sharing findings across the security functions
- Recommending remediation strategies and providing advice on complex configuration changes in support of vulnerability remediation
- Conducting vulnerability scanning activities of the internal and external footprint to identify threats and reduce the attack surface
- Reviewing latest sources and vendor news to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities and raising awareness to the business
- Liaising with internal and external security teams including TVM threat intelligence to assess impact and drive timely remediation of high-risk vulnerabilities

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who has excellent written and verbal communication skills to be part of our ambitious fundraising team. You’ll have some experience in forming partnerships and or generating leads through targeted content.
Background to the project:
The Development Officer role is an exciting role which will enable the delivery of an expanded programme in 2024 and beyond. Your main responsibility will be leading our partner outreach for the continued growth of In2scienceUK. Industry engagement is key for the continued expansion of our new In2careers programme. This programme supports young people on their social mobility journey by removing barriers and creating opportunities.

As a mental health content specialist, you will play a key role in creating new, valuable mental health-related content aimed at reducing panic and anxiety for users of our app. You will play a key role in informing the overall direction of our mental health app to ensure that we are providing evidence-based support for anxiety and panic.
The role will entail taking on responsibility for the content of our app, Mind Ease. This includes:
- Creating a plan for how we better support users around panic and anxiety through our app, based on evidence-based techniques and informed by the needs of our users

- Writing snappy and engaging psychoeducational activities to add to our library of in-app content. Adapting these activities based on feedback from users and the team.
