Our programme supporting Higher Technical Education has big ambitions. Known as the ‘missing middle’ of higher education in England, we want to see the declines in level 4 and 5 technical education reversed and more providers emerge who can offer high-quality education and training to help people access highskilled occupations. Key to this transformation is the role of Institutes of Technology (IoTs) – collaborations between further education colleges, universities and employers – and we have been working closely with the National Network of Institutes of Technology to support their success. We are looking for a Project Officer to play an integral part in the successful delivery of this programme, as well as becoming an advocate for Higher Technical Qualifications more broadly.
This role sits within the small Higher Education Team at Gatsby, and you will work closely with the Project Manager and Director of Programmes to: develop and deliver a range of projects to support our programme objectives; represent Gatsby at external meetings; organise meetings and events; and develop strong working relationships with key partners.
Key Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver projects to support Gatsby’s Higher Technical Education programme, with clear objectives and planning, delivering outputs on time and within budget.
- Research, create and write compelling communications that support programme objectives.
- Co-ordinate regular meetings and external events, including drafting agendas, writing minutes, liaising with and organising contributions from external stakeholders.
- Work effectively with other Gatsby programme teams to ensure higher technical education is appropriately represented within their areas of focus.
- Commission consultants/researchers to undertake pieces of work that will inform programme direction.
- Undertake project evaluations to measure success, analysing outputs/feedback and making informed recommendations to improve activity.
- Manage the National Network of Institutes of Technology website and LinkedIn pages, ensuring they remain a compelling national presence with engaging and relevant content.
- Provide administrative and budget support for beneficiary grants and contracts.
- Create and maintain data and contact information relevant to the Institutes of Technology and other key stakeholders in higher technical education.
- Maintain a secure understanding of all high-level Gatsby policy positions and able to communicate them effectively in written form and verbally.

JUSTICE is looking for an outstanding criminal lawyer, for a full-time fixed term 12-month contract, with the possibility of renewal, subject to funding. This provides an exciting opportunity for a practising lawyer with a strong research background or academic lawyers keen to engage in high-level policy and law reform work.
We are looking for a lawyer mainly interested in criminal justice, as well as in cross-cutting issues affecting the functioning of the justice system (current cross-cutting projects include work on the state of the rule of law in the UK and AI, human rights, and the law).
JUSTICE is at the forefront of work promoting access to a fair criminal justice system for all. The successful candidate will be building on our recent work on racial injustice in the youth criminal justice system and post-conviction decision making, including the parole system and administrative decision-making in prisons, as well as our cross-cutting workstream on the state of the rule of law in the UK. They will also be scoping and setting up a new criminal justice project relating to fraud.
We would like to recruit a bright, motivated person who is passionate about criminal justice system reform, and the promotion of access to justice and fair trial. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team. With excellent interpersonal skills, they will be able to work closely with JUSTICE members, who include senior figures in the legal profession. The post holder will work with our Interim Legal Director to further develop our criminal justice work stream and assist on system-wide proposals for change. This role is focused primarily on England and Wales, though it will touch on UK wide issues and the Scottish criminal justice system from time-to-time.
The JUSTICE team are currently working in a hybrid manner. Staff members have access to office space in London, however, attendance is currently optional. Job Description
Job Title: Head of School Programmes
Reports to: Director of Programmes
Location: Quantum House, 22 – 24 Red Lion Court, Fleet Street, London, EC4A 3AB The role is open to hybrid working but the candidate would be expected to be in the office one day per week
Purpose: This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a team supporting and engaging thousands of state schools nationally to effectively use the Inspiring the Future and Primary Futures programmes to improve outcomes for children and young people. These programmes leverage technology to raise the aspirations and broaden the horizons of children and young people by connecting them to a huge range of volunteers from the world of work via career related learning activities. Alongside staff management and delivering a strategy for general programme engagement, the role manages the delivery of several funded projects.
Remuneration: £36 - £40k per annum FTE depending on experience
Additional Terms: 30 days paid holiday, exclusive of Statutory Holiday plus competitive pension scheme and a volunteering allowance of up to 5 days – pro rata in accordance with the length of contract. Additional family friendly benefits including enhancements to Statutory Payments.

Job purpose
Working closely with the senior management team and deputising for the Director of Programmes where necessary, the successful candidate will have responsibility for developing and delivering a strategy to support the increase in successful school engagement with the charity’s main programmes Inspiring the Future and Primary Futures. This will include managing and leading a team to deliver effective school support, building strong relationships with key stakeholders including local authorities, unions and school networks and ensuring appropriate marketing, resources and guidance to support effective school usage. The role will be responsible for managing several key funded projects and contracts for the charity.
The schools team are responsible for both delivery of key funded projects and contracts as well as driving up awareness and effective engagement with Inspiring the Future and Primary Futures from schools. We now have over 11,000 teachers from state schools and colleges registered on Inspiring the Future and want to see a significant increase in those successfully using the platform and its related services over the next five years. In particular, we are looking to engage significantly more primary schools as well as continue our strong links with secondary and college staff.
The successful applicant will be expected to quickly pick up delivery of key projects and review, and where appropriate improve, existing strategic plans to engage and support state schools through our programmes and therefore a good understand of career related learning activities is essential. They will be supported by the Director of Programmes and senior management team and an excellent schools team of passionate staff.
The ideal candidate will be able to lead and manage a small and dynamic team and will be able to absorb key information quickly, working across a number of varied projects and programmes.
Key Accountabilities
Schools Engagement
- Working with the Director of Programmes to review, improve and implement strategic plans to increase the charity’s engagement with primary schools and secondary/colleges for Inspiring the Future and Primary Futures programmes
- Reviewing and updating KPIs around the number of schools registered, engaged and school satisfaction levels and monitoring these, adapting approaches as appropriate and utilising our salesforce CRM as a basis for reporting
- Utilising feedback mechanisms to monitor impact of programmes and projects, for children, young people, teachers and parents / carers as appropriate, working closely with colleagues across the team
- Developing and maintaining key relationships with careers providers, the Careers and Enterprise Company, local partners, teaching networks and unions and across various types of schools
- Presenting at virtual and face to face conferences and network events to school/college audiences about our programmes with a view to improving engagement and awareness,
- Leading the review and enhancement of resources and marketing materials for school engagement and ensuring these (including on our websites) are up to date

Harington is an Ofsted regulated specialist college based in north London, working with young people with learning differences aged 16-25. Our students undertake individualised learning programmes that lead to vocational qualifications and other aims, including gardening, retail, English, maths, employability and independent living. To support dads to have positive relationships with their families
We are looking for a Dad Matters Support Coordinator to join our team to deliver 121 support to dads in the perinatal period. The successful candidate will play a key part in better supporting dads/partners in the early days of parenthood across Gloucestershire.
The successful applicant will either be a dad themselves or someone who has equivalent knowledge and experience in working in this type of setting.

Main Responsibilities
1-2-1 Support to Dads
The post holder will provide individual face to face and telephone support to dads during the perinatal period (from pregnancy to age 2 years of age). This will involve the following:
- Managing a caseload of dads who have been referred to the service by professionals
- Drawing on your own experience of parenting to encourage dad’s strengths and emotional well-being for the ultimate benefit of their own children
- Signposting and supporting access to other services as appropriate

Outreach Support
The post holder will attend Gloucestershire Royal Hospital every week to support dads who are visiting the hospital for antenatal visits and maternity visits. This will involve the following:
- Setting up the Dad Matters pop up information point on the ward
- Liaising with hospital staff and maintaining excellent relationships
- Supporting dads as needed who are visiting the hospital on a 1-2-1 bases
- Signposting dads as appropriate
In addition the post holder will be required to facilitate one Stay and Play session each month. This will involve:
- Keeping essential records of attendees of groups
- Giving dads a safe space to interact and socialise with other dads
- Encouraging dads to widen their network of relationships and to use effectively the support and services available in the community.

Role Summary
The Programme Coordinator (South-West) is a key point of contact for the Into Film Programme in England and delivers Into Film’s Programmes and projects both face to face and online with a bespoke approach for the south west.
Due to the nature of the role, occasional weekend and extended working hours are required, along with regular travel to designated regions and occasional travel elsewhere in the UK.
Main Responsibilities:
- To deliver various elements of the new Into Film programme in the south west including, but not limited to, CPD/training for teachers at all career stages, events, conferences, round tables, Teachmeet style gatherings and teacher panels both online and face to face
- To develop, sustain and be the local point of contact for schools, partners, individuals and organisations that add value or are users of the Into Film programme including a focus on EEDI and how Into Film can specifically, positively reach and include those who are underserved and underrepresented.
- To feed into and then deliver the plans in England across the programme (including Teaching with Film, Careers and Progression and Young Creatives (plus Into Film Festival, Into Film Awards and additionally funded programmes, as needed)
- To work with all departments at Into Film to ensure a joined-up approach and delivery of set outcomes, KPIs whilst adhering to budgets and deadlines
