The role

As Partner Engagement Manager you will promote and develop the work of Family Fund in its reach to families. You’ll also contribute to its profile within the disability sector in Wales and with key Government/political stakeholders.

You will proactively work with a wide range of public, private and third sector organisations. Your goal will be to ensure Family Fund’s strategy is understood, and that mutually beneficial relationships are formed. In addition, you will seek out opportunities which allow Family Fund to achieve its key priorities, deliver added value for funders, and secure positive outcomes for our beneficiaries.

You will be acknowledged as a senior Family Fund representative across the disability sector, deputising for the Group CEO, or Directors on committees and at events as required.

Finally, you will build effective partnerships and proactively develop activities with key organisations across public, private and third sectors.

The role

This role will identify, develop and manage top food partners relationships and strengthen existing business relationships with companies in the food industry, generating value for the partner and to secure growing and sustainable volumes of surplus food for the FareShare Network.

For designated top food partners, you will be their day to day point of contact with regular face to face contact at all levels. You will undertake structured, strategic account management, leading and coordinating FareShare’s engagement across our organisation. This will mean agreeing and executing a bespoke joint business plan with each account to get more food, money and strategic support. You will also feedback on ways that we can better support our accounts and improve our services to them.

You will work directly and be on-site with top food partners to help identify and overcome the barriers which exist to giving surplus food to people in need as well as increasing money and strategic resource.

You will also be required to work closely with FareShare colleagues within FareShare and across the UK in our partner organisations in order to identify and understand opportunities for creating mutual and shared value.

Main areas of responsibility

Partnership Management

• Contribute to the development of consistent, structured Joint Business plans with designated accounts that take into account food, funding and other strategic initiatives to drive growth in food, money and other strategic resources.
• Work on behalf of the account to develop and embed services relevant to the account and
• agreed through the joint business plan – e.g. employability or store level redistribution.
• Execute joint business plans and report internally and externally on progress.
• Research and understand your accounts, including key ESG initiatives, waste streams, key personnel within the organisation that will help drive its success and engage the relevant internal departments through both desked based research and face to face contact.

The Huntington's Disease Association is a UK registered charity that supports people affected by Huntington's disease across England and Wales. We provide information, advice and support to families, friends, and healthcare professionals.

Overview

The Programme Manager role will be crucial to the success and development of the charity. You will be responsible for the management and delivery of 3+ Worldwide Radiology projects, operating across Malawi, Ghana and The Gambia.

Then this could be the role for you. At the Digital Poverty Alliance, we are looking for our new Policy & Insights Manager. You must be able to inspire us and our partners and spearhead our public affairs work, including through our National Delivery Plan to unite action to end digital poverty by 2030.

We bring together charities, corporates and government to address the underlying issues stopping families gaining full access to digital services such as education, healthcare and employment. We seek social change through our National Delivery Plan, whilst also delivering solutions in local areas that help real people and provide evidence for change. 

This is an exciting, high profile and fast-paced role, joining our small team and working alongside partners, National Delivery Committee members and our wider stakeholders to effect real change for people. You will report directly to the Chief Executive, working alongside our Head of External Affairs.

A big part of our social change ambition is delivered through our public affairs work; influencing policy makers so that our ambitions are shared with government, companies and with everyone able to deliver to our vision of a world where everyone is able to connect successfully with the digital world where and when they want to.  You will also be responsible for drafting white papers, analysing trends and data, and identifying new insights.  You will support our Industry Forum, working with existing and new members to broaden the group.

The DPA aims to work through partners in delivering to our core mission and, as such, we retain only a small core team with support from our PR agency. As such, you’ll lead on delivering our policy and public affairs work, from briefing MPs to developing our policy positions.

Whilst the role is remote based, you will regularly need to attend in-person meetings and events in central London (daytime and evening), as well as undertaking travel across the UK. Given the need to attend meetings in Westminster and Whitehall, you will need to live within commuting distance of London.

Key focus areas

• Building relationships with public, private and third sector organisations, including the wider DPA community.
• Working to convene and collaborate with organisations and individuals committed to ending digital poverty.
• Work with colleagues across local, regional and national governments and across political parties to advocate for policies to promote digital inclusion.
• Undertaking research and analysis to understand digital poverty and the impact of policies to address it.
• Managing policy and research projects including the ongoing development of the national delivery plan and supporting ‘proof of concept’ projects.
• Developing commercial and research partnerships with organisations and supporting the development of the industry forum.
• Communicating the DPA vision and perspective through verbal and written communication.

Purpose of Post 
The Fundraising Partnerships Manager will be responsible for securing and account managing national corporate partnerships, and national trusts and foundations to help air ambulance charities save even more lives across the UK.

• Provide exceptional account management.
• Develop high quality funding proposals.
• Support new business development, identifying and securing new national partnerships and grants in collaboration with the air ambulance community.

Key Responsibilities
Account Management

• To provide exceptional account management to ensure partners meet agreed income and engagement targets and other key objectives.
• Develop and deliver robust national partnership plans, maximise income generation and provide strategic direction to maximise growth within each account.
• Generate income from national partners - including employee fundraising, sponsorship, and cause related marketing.
• To deliver a calendar of key corporate fundraising events, promoting campaigns to national partners and building engagement with them and their audiences.
• To attend partnership meetings, communicate and deliver presentations to staff at all levels.
• Manage and organise the production of compelling materials for bespoke campaigns and ensure AAUK’s campaigns are integrated into national partnership plans with a particular focus on Air Ambulance Week.

Development Activities

• Support national pipeline research and development for partnerships and grants.
• Through strategic research, identify and prioritise potential national trust and foundations (in collaboration with air ambulance charity members), with the ability to give significant grants through partnership working.
• Creation and development of national fundraising proposals and stewardship reports, applying a creative approach where possible.
• Create engaging assets for applications and compelling pitches, delivering pitch presentations virtually and in person.
• Lead on research and applications for agreed national prospects, building long-term relationships with key contacts at prospective partners.
• Work with air ambulance charity members to identify projects and opportunities for national funding from trusts and foundations.

Our Practitioner Led Assessment Service is the entry point for our beneficiaries seeking support from the Charity. Our Assessment Practitioners work in partnership with our beneficiaries to identify goals, individual needs and appropriate solutions.

The team provide advice, information and support and work collaboratively with the multi-professional team to ensure our beneficiaries are offered the right support at the right time.

Reporting into the Beneficiary Experience and Continuity Lead you will be responsible for day-to-day management of the practitioner led assessment service, holding a small case load and reviewing and resolving complex cases with the team. 

You will work collaboratively with key stakeholders across health improvement and rehabilitation services, to ensure services are integrated, person centred, outcome focused and based on an ethos of recovery.

Around eight out of ten autistic adults are currently unemployed. This means that the strengths and skills of autistic people are often vastly underused, and that many autistic people face significant negative consequences of unemployment.

The Autism Centre of Excellence at Cambridge (ACE) is committed to creating 10,000 new jobs for autistic people in the next ten years and are currently seeking a lead for this work. We are looking for somebody who is motivated to improve life for autistic people and who has experience of developing and managing medium to large-scale projects.

Main duties and Responsibilities

• Implement the plan as has been specified and agreed by our Board.
• Convene and run a network of employers and members of the autism community to share and discuss good practice.
• Undertake project management across the workstream, managing and monitoring activities and outcomes.
• Identify need, find options, evaluate, enlist and manage service and contract providers; services that are introduced to the network (recruitment and HR advice, financial advice, property advice, franchising advice, pooled procurement).
• Identify funding opportunities, coordinate funding applications to secure financial backing for the services to be offered.
• Build engagement with autistic people into all aspects of the workstream.
• Support the leadership team to develop plans for improving employment for autistic people in the UK and worldwide.
• Build and maintain effective collaborative relationships with a range of partner organisations; and large employers.
• Line-manage any future staff employed in this workstream/ project.
• Create and present progress reports as required by the leadership team and board of Trustees.
• Develop and maintain an evaluation system for the whole project.
• Support the Autism Centre of Excellence to manage recruitment and retention in line with best practice.
• Sensitively manage the challenges of organisations holding themselves to account in discharging their responsibilities around employment of autistic people.
• Contribute to other team activities in line with the post-holder’s skills and commensurate with the grade, such as arranging meetings, taking notes, organising and hosting focus groups.
