Job description

We are looking for a creative and confident communicator to support our fundraising efforts in Central England, to enable us to give more young people the opportunity to transform their lives.

Sitting within our Philanthropy function, this role is part of the Regional Philanthropy team, raising funds from Major Donors and Trusts & Foundations, with specific responsibility for Central England.

You will be based out of the Leicester or Nottingham office (with flexibility to work from home and from other regional hubs) and will have a particular focus on the East Midlands & East of England in particular. You will have a personal income target of approximately £500K, made up of both existing accounts and new business, but with an emphasis on building new Philanthropic relationships in this region.

You will be an ambitious and target-driven fundraiser, with outstanding communication and inter-personal skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with supporters, colleagues and volunteers. We are looking for someone who can proactively seek out new opportunities, with initiative, tenacity and creativity, and make a meaningful contribution to our regional place-based fundraising.
