We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to be an essential part of our mass participant events team. This team is responsible for managing a Christie presence and participants at events including the Manchester to Blackpool bike ride and the Manchester Marathon. It regularly raises over £1.7m and has ambitions to reach £2m. Ideally, we require someone with an energetic personality, a positive outlook and a mature approach to managing staff.

Major Gifts Manager, International Fundraising
Position Objective:
To solicit major gifts (£5,000 and above) to support PETA’s international programmes and campaigns.
To build and advance relationships with PETA entities’ major donors and prospects.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop a strategy for international for major gifts fundraising
- Manage and maintain a portfolio major gift donors and prospects, across PETA international entities
- Effectively steward donors and prospects
- Develop personal engagement plans for donors, using knowledge and insights to plan appropriate communications
- Solicit major financial contributions from targeted donors
- Manage a pipeline of prospects, creating engaging opportunities for donors to increase their giving to a higher level
- Acknowledge, thank and recognise donors appropriate to their level of support, and ensure restricted gifts are appropriately allocated
- Maintain accurate records on PETA entities’ databases with relevant information and research
- Work with the prospect researcher to obtain useful information, helping make appropriate asks
- Participate in budgeting process
- Monitor donors’ motivations and interests – keeping accurate and up to date records in the database
- Develop cultivation events within regional hotspots throughout PETA entities
- Work collaboratively with PETA staff across PETA entities
- Maintain a clear understanding of – and the ability to articulate – PETA's objectives as well as details of specific PETA programmes
- Maintain departmental information, files, and records related to legacy estates
- Maintain and expand knowledge of relevant departmental software (e.g. ROI, ResearchPoint, Raiser's Edge, etc) in order to improve communication with donors
- Assist with the preparation and proofreading of mailings and other communications, as needed
- Work with the wider major gifts team and VP of International Fundraising on all aspects of cultivation and stewardship
- Maintain strict confidentiality at all times

This is a challenging and busy role supporting the delivery of the Financial Inclusion programme across the UK, including support for Financial Inclusion projects under the Scotland team. The Financial Inclusion Assistant is responsible for providing high level support to the Head of Financial Inclusion, Senior Managers and other team members as appropriate. The Financial Inclusion Assistant supports the coordination and delivery of a range of projects, communications, events and working groups across the Financial Inclusion department.
Role responsibilities
· Support the delivery and coordination of projects and working groups within the Financial Inclusion department and management of team email inbox
· Support the Financial Inclusion Leadership team to manage team engagement, planning meetings and working groups, taking minutes and assisting in the preparation of reports, communications, presentations and other documents
· Perform administrative duties for any Steering Groups led by the Financial Inclusion department, scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, recording minutes and producing reports as required
· Support the Financial Inclusion department through excellent stakeholder management, building positive relationships between teams across the Trussell Trust

We are seeking a confident and experienced Modern Slavery Case Worker Assistant with a wide range of skills and importantly, a ‘can do’ approach. As a Modern Slavery Case Worker Assistant, you will provide high quality practical and emotional support to potential victims of modern slavery within a safehouse setting.
You will work as a member of the team providing a safe temporary environment for vulnerable adults who have experienced trauma and exploitation. The role will involve assisting service users with increasing practical skills and self-confidence to empower and enable independent and safe living.
This service is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Applicants must be willing to work flexibly, which will include on call duties, evenings, weekends and bank. Both roles will work between two properties approximately 4 miles apart on a rota basis.
The 30 hour per week post will be shifts from 4pm-10pm, 5 days per week, however, the initial induction will consist of day shifts until knowledge of safe house is comprehensive.
You must have experience of working with vulnerable adults, the ability to work within a ‘risk associated’ environment and ideally experience of working within a residential or community setting with non-UK citizens. Relevant social care qualifications or suitable experience of supporting vulnerable people is essential.

The role will encompass community and youth support activities, delivering quality, diverse and integrated services, as well as leading a small and passionate team. The role will be focussed on the Oldham East community (surrounding Oasis Academies Clarksfield and Leesbrook), as part of Oasis Hub Oldham.
Key responsibilities will be:
· To build positive and supportive working partnerships with the local community, supporting them to access Hub services and activities to develop their skills, knowledge and aspirations.
· To work with the Strategic Community Development Lead to create a plan to deliver joined up services that address the needs of the local neighbourhood, including community projects, holiday provision, and volunteer, family and youth support.
· Provide leadership and line management to community and youth project workers, building a positive and well-functioning team that models the Oasis ethos and values.
