We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team. You will join us working 28 hours per week on a 12 month fixed term contract and in return you will receive a competitive salary of up to £29,319 per annum (pro rata of £36,649) plus excellent benefits.

The Data & Analytics team, based in the Marketing & Income Generation directorate, focuses on data processing, data selections and data analysis. The Data team has grown over the last couple of years due to significant charity growth.

Responsibilities of our Data Analyst:

As Data Analyst you will be responsible for the delivery of actionable and highly effective supporter analysis, reports, dashboards and statistical models to inform the evidence-based decision making of the Marketing and Income Generation directorate. The Data Analyst will support departmental strategies and plans by analysing campaign effectiveness and providing a clear understanding of our audiences to optimise supporter journeys, improve targeting and drive engagement. They will also assist the Lead Data Analyst in designing, planning and delivering data insight projects to enable the directorate to maintain a supporter-focused view, maximising the returns on Cat Protection’s investments.

What we’re looking for in our Data Analyst:

• Significant database marketing experience with use and manipulation of data structures with a relational database management system
• Significant data analysis and interpretation experience identifying key trends
• Advanced knowledge of FastStats or similar statistical package
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Full understanding of the data analysis process from briefing to delivery
• Experience presenting analysis and managing stakeholder relationships

The Role
Our Practitioner Led Assessment Service is the entry point for our beneficiaries seeking support from the Charity. Our Assessment Practitioners work in partnership with our beneficiaries to identify goals, individual needs and appropriate solutions.

The team provide advice, information and support and work collaboratively with the multi-professional team to ensure our beneficiaries are offered the right support at the right time.

Reporting into the Beneficiary Experience and Continuity Lead you will be responsible for day-to-day management of the practitioner led assessment service, holding a small case load and reviewing and resolving complex cases with the team. 

You will work collaboratively with key stakeholders across health improvement and rehabilitation services, to ensure services are integrated, person centred, outcome focused and based on an ethos of recovery.

About You

To be successful, you will:

• Be a registered health or social care practitioner, with membership of a relevant professional body

Role Summary:

As the In2careers Manager, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the alumni offer which is the In2careers platform. This currently includes a mentoring scheme, monthly newsletter, online workshops, Alumni Conference, job boards and more.

You will be responsible for developing any new activities and initiatives for this platform that build on our aim of getting young people from low socio-economic backgrounds into employment.

As the In2careers Manager you will be someone who enjoys working with young people and has an understanding of the barriers facing young people from low socio-economic backgrounds to access higher education and STEM careers.

This role sits within the Development team but has strong links across the organisation.  This role has elements of fundraising mixed with programme delivery and will suit someone who can get excited about programme development and delivery as well as building lasting partnerships with key funders.

• Evaluating current activities and developing new ideas and initiatives for the programme

• Securing partners that support the mission of this programme

• Developing and delivering the ongoing Alumni mentoring programme

RSPB 'Nature Prescriptions' are designed to encourage and prompt people to connect to nature in support of their goals for better wellbeing. Inspiring and enabling healthcare professionals and others in the NHS to prescribe nature, is a key route for the RSPB to enable more people from more diverse communities to access the natural world. Working with healthcare professionals and local communities in Cardiff and surrounds, you will use co-design to create materials in different formats that will support those who need it most. Key tasks will include:

• Lead the development of and promote the delivery of three new RSPB Nature Prescriptions to people living in diverse communities within Cardiff and the surrounding area.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders in the NHS, health care and social care professionals to inspire and enable them to feel engaged and supported to co-create and prescribe a Nature Prescription, and to connect RSPB with the health sector to help create doors for future work.
• Engage with local healthcare professionals and community groups to co-design Nature Prescriptions materials with local people, community groups and healthcare professionals so that they reach a large diversity of people, and those that need and can benefit the most.
• Develop the project plan and ensure that the right governance structure for project management is in place and RSPB internal project management practices are followed, so that the project stays on track, comes in on budget and risks are identified, escalated, and managed within tolerances.
• Work with local environmental networks to build a picture of nature-based activities available and identify opportunities for partnership working.
• Lead on developing ways to evaluate and measure the impact of the project, including engaging with those prescribing and local communities to gather stories and case studies that demonstrate the benefits to wellbeing and connectedness to nature.
• Build internal relationships with RSPB employees and volunteers working with nature prescribing and nature and wellbeing across the UK.
• Develop a strategy and plan for Nature and Wellbeing work legacy aiming to learn from the work done in Scotland and England and from the communities and health care professionals in Cardiff and surrounds to support development of future work in Cardiff and beyond.

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

• Experience of working within or alongside the health and wellbeing sector.
• Project management experience with experience of leading on and developing and delivering projects with diverse communities.
• Experience of developing external partnerships and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in delivering workshops or training, ideally with a co-design element.
• Excellent verbal and written communicator able to communicate nature and wellbeing messages in a way that is understood by a range of audiences and that engenders their support.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage and deliver a varied workload.
• Skilled in using Microsoft 365 suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.

Desirable skills, knowledge, and experience:

• Experience of SharePoint management.
• Experience of recruiting and managing volunteers.
• Welsh speaker or learner.

We combine the power of people taking action from the grassroots up, with coordinated activity by a cross-party Alliance of politicians, public figures, parties and organisations to win PR in years, rather than decades.

About the role

As CEO, you'll support us through a new stage in our development. We're operating in a fluid political environment and so our new leader needs to be confident to work in a political setting while also having the skills and experience to run an organisation like ours.

You'll take ultimate responsibility for our campaign to achieve Proportional Representation in the House of Commons. You will:

• as leader of the campaign, be primarily responsible for building the popular and political momentum needed to secure this seismic reform;
• as leader of the organisation, be primarily responsible for defining and executing MVM’s strategy, while ensuring its good financial health and legal and regulatory compliance; and
• as leader to our staff and volunteer team, be primarily responsible for providing clarity of direction while ensuring the organisation maintains a collaborative, empowering and inspiring culture.

You will:

• lead the UK campaign for Proportional Representation;
• ensure MVM has a clear external brand, with consistent messages, effective and emotive arguments, and impactful use of evidence;
• be a spokesperson for the organisation on a variety of public platforms including national media and at key MVM events;
• create and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders;
• lead on development of MVM's post-election strategic plan;
• line manage and delegate responsibilities to staff, as appropriate;
• take ultimate responsibility for the good governance of MVM, including but not limited to the organisation’s financial health, legal compliance, and good standing with regulatory bodies;
• with support of relevant MVM staff, to ensure that the Board is supported in performing its governance role;
• support and comply with MVM’s policies active within the organisation pertinent to the role; and
• undertake other related duties as required to assist MVM in meeting its objectives.

About you

The Finance Officer/Bookkeeper will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely finance administration, across two databases (currently Sage and Salesforce).  This is a vital role within HIWCF, as high quality finance information is fundamental to our role and reputation in the region as a trusted partner for our fundholders and grantees.

Key Tasks

· Adding all payments transactions (grants, invoices, salaries, expenses, HMRC payments etc) to Sage and the bank accounts, ensuring all evidence is correct and payments are correctly authorised

· Adding all donation income to Sage and Salesforce, and working with other team members to ensure they are acknowledged appropriately

· Adding all quarterly investment income to Sage and Salesforce and reconciling across both databases, and to the investment house reports and bank account

· Regular reconciliations between Sage and Salesforce and bank accounts

· Ensure HMRC payments and gift aid claims are undertaken in a timely manner

· Manage banking records

· Monthly reconciliations for Bank account, purchase ledger, Sage, Salesforce, prepayments, accruals, salaries, PAYE, pension etc

· Monthly journals for non-cost items

· Manage pension with NEST and other ad hoc pension providers and manage insurances

· Ad hoc finance related tasks including reporting on returned grants, managing pension payments, insurances etc

· Any other appropriate tasks as directed
