In this pivotal role of Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the management and successful delivery of all hard and soft facilities services across the Lambeth Palace estate.
- Ensure the Lambeth Palace estate is managed to the highest possible standard, ensuring all areas are well presented, safe, secure and compliant for all visitors, residents and staff alike.
- Review and regularly ensure all agreed security measures are in place and are communicated accordingly.
- Ensure all works undertaken across the Lambeth Palace estate are safely assessed and authorised before they are carried out.
- Review Health & Safety risk assessment submissions relating to operations and buildings, identifying and ensuring any corrective actions are completed.
- Work closely with the Hospitality Team to ensure events are assessed properly and robust H&S procedures are in place.
- Manage compliance and ensure best practice in the following areas: asbestos management, fire control management, water systems management, working at heights, electrical compliance, mechanical compliance, lifts, H&S inspections, etc.
- Ensure the proactive management of all hard and soft facilities tasks including, but not limited to office moves, PPM, reactive maintenance, office services and statutory compliance.
- Ensure that all planned and reactive maintenance are undertaken and completed within agreed schedules, frequencies, and statutory requirements.
- Implement and manage facilities contracts SLA's.
- Manage, query and follow up Facilities related tasks.
- Manage all utility contracts, council taxes and licenses.
- Line manage and give day-to-day supervision, direction and motivation to the Facilities Co-ordinators, Facilities administrator and Assistant.
- Manage the Facilities Helpdesk on a day-to-day basis ensuring requests, complaints and questions via telephone, e-mail or in person are acknowledged and acted upon within appropriate timelines and are escalated where required.
- Support and develop best practice standards, procedures, processes and expectations and deliver them to provide a first-class work experience.
- Ensure consistently high levels of customer service are delivered for all hard and soft service facilities and maintenance issues.
- Liaise regularly with contractors, making sure disruption to the Archbishop's family, other residents, staff and Hospitality is minimised and work is completed as quickly as possible.
- Ensure effective communication with the Archbishop's family, other residents, staff, Garden and Hospitality Teams on all work affecting the estate.
- Monitor and report on the Palace's environmental impact and initiating methods to improve sustainability.
- Assist the Head of Facilities & Steward in financial/budgetary management, including verifying and arranging payment of contractors' invoices and reporting on the annual budget.
- Where authority has been delegated, progress the work of the Head of Facilities & Steward in their absence and within agreed parameters, including out of hours working when required.
- Hold NEBOSH General Certificate.
- IWFM qualification or equivalent experience.
- Highly organised and efficient; able to prioritise and keep track of multiple projects.
- Ability, enthusiasm and willingness to work as part of a team, giving directions when required within a supportive environment.

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Edinburgh Skylight as a Receptionist/Administrator in our Edinburgh Skylight Team. You will be there to welcome people who are homeless seeking advice and start the process of helping them to end their homelessness.
You will support the team to manage a busy working environment, welcoming and supporting a range of people including new Skylight members, current members, staff, Crisis volunteers and visitors. You will provide administrative support for this fast and responsive service to those newly presenting as homeless. You will also carry out administration and housekeeping functions relating to the customer service and facilities management of Cranston House. This role is based onsite with no option for homeworking.
About you
To be successful in this role you will be highly organised with experience of working within a reception or administrative support role, as well as experience providing a high standard of customer service. We are looking for someone who understands the issues faced by homeless people and is excited to learn about the ways we can support them. You will be able to deal with challenging situations and individuals with a range of needs, to reach a positive resolution through a calm and confident approach.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work successfully with disadvantaged or socially excluded groups and individuals. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written will be key, as well as working collaboratively within a team. As you will be the first point of contact for many people, you need to be friendly, enjoy helping and be willing to learn about Crisis and all the other activities taking place within the building.

We are seeking a Venue & Buildings Manager to help provide effective stewardship and management of our wonderful and busy Grade II* listed church building and room hire business.
Inspire Saint James Clerkenwell is a Church of England church with two services (11am and 4pm) and a congregation of around 200 adults and 80 children. The congregation is vibrant and diverse and passionate about sharing the good news of Jesus.
A large proportion of the church’s income is generated by hiring out the crypt, church and accompanying spaces to external clients. Our ability to rent out these spaces supports the church’s broader mission and helps maintain the building for future generations. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the building and the room hire business and see that the work they do supports and facilitates the ministry of the church. The Royal College of Pathologists is seeking a Head of IT to lead the IT strategy and operational management of the IT function. The post holder will have a proven understanding of technology transformation and the opportunities this can provide for the College. The role will be responsible for shaping and executing the IT strategy to support the overall business objectives and strategic plans, while at the same time taking an active lead on the operational aspects of IT and AV support services. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, the Head of IT is a highly visible and leading role and will work closely with all departments and the Senior Management Team.
Currently embarked on an organisation-wide technology transformation project, this will be a primary initial focus with the aim of being more connected, efficient, and providing more effective member services. The Head of IT will be pivotal in ensuring delivery of technology driven aspects of the College wide project and future projects by horizon scanning for new technologies and ways of working that can continue to improve the College’s operations.

Summary:
Our client Spitalfields Crypt Trust (SCT) is an East London charity embedded in the local community, providing practical help, support and training to people affected by homelessness or suffering from addiction. As SCT’s HR and Quality Manager you will report to the CEO and work closely with the SMT and wider management team, including SCT’s Co-Production worker and external HR Consultancy. You will be responsible for leading, directing and delivering a comprehensive generalist HR service across the whole of SCT and providing the organisational lead on health, safety and wellbeing, data protection and quality improvement systems; developing and promoting best practice and taking a hands-on role as and when necessary and according to SCT’s inclusive, integrated, innovative and participatory culture. Job Description
As the Finance Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing various financial aspects within our organisation and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role will require a strong understanding of gift aid compliance, legislative changes, and financial account management. Additionally, you will act as the subject matter expert for finance systems and serve as a backup for the Finance Manager when necessary.
The Finance Officer is part of the All Souls staff team supporting the church's ministry, being part of team fellowship and prayer groups. Responsibilities
- Accurately submit gift aid claims to HMRC for all charities under our organisation, ensuring adherence to regulations and guidelines.
- Keep abreast of legislative changes from HMRC related to gift aid and ensure all charities comply with the latest requirements.
- Oversee bank and investment accounts, liaising with banks and ensuring smooth information flow between the bank and charity trustees. Prepare monthly reconciliations for active bank accounts, SOLDO cards, Credit cards etc.

We will break the cycle of reoffending by starting sustainable businesses which train and employ ex-offenders.
