Context and Background
The innovative services that we develop are a critical part of the NSPCC’s fight for every childhood. We transform lives by working directly with some of the most vulnerable children and families. This role will help develop our service offer in respect of preventing and tackling child sexual abuse, with a focus on the ongoing development, coordination and implementation of our secondary education service. This aims to support secondary education settings to be places that foster healthy relationships and keep, young people safe from abuse.
Job purpose
• Scoping, leading and project managing programmes, services and products within the Development and Implementation Team within set timescales and budgets.
• Managing a matrix approach to service development and design, bringing together people, resources, skills and talent from across the organisation to conceptualize, design and create new programmes, services and products
• Working with a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all new developments are informed and underpinned by evidence, have a theory of change and support the NSPCC in delivering its strategy
• Working with research colleagues to plan how outcomes and impact will be measured for each new development.
Key relationships - Internal
Reporting to the Associate Head of Development with close links to the Head of Development and Implementation, the post holder will work closely with an internal project team, managing workstream leads from digital, comms, content development, schools service, income generation and subject matter experts and have frequent interaction at Director level and other senior stakeholders. They will be in frequent contact with multiple teams and directorates as they operate a matrix style of project development.
Key relationships - External
This role will develop relationships at Director level and other senior stakeholders across a range of external partners including from Education, Children Services, Police, Health Partners and the third sector for the purpose of influencing, learning, collaboration and engagement. They will also work closely with participation and people with lived experience who support service development.
Main duties and responsibilities
1. Project delivery
· Accountable for end to end delivery of the development and delivery of projects within the D&I team, with a focus on education
· Ensure projects are well managed and desired outcomes are achieved and benefits realised
· Lead a matrix approach to service development and design bringing together a multifaceted team from inside and outside of the NSPCC

· Establish and maintain an effective governance and project framework for any development
· Ensure the correct oversight and controls are in place
· Ensure project paperwork is complete including risks and issues logs

Person specification
1. Knowledge relevant to NSPCC strategic objectives, specifically the education sector, relationships and sex education
2. Experienced in managing complex, fast paced, multi-agency/client relationships and cross organisational teams to deliver multiple projects
3. Significant experience in the successful design and development of innovative, evidence based services, ideally within the education sector
4. Application of structured project management techniques to plan, monitor and deliver projects involving many stakeholders and teams in their delivery

This role is homebased/flexible but does require some travel within the UK.

Overall Duties of the role will include:
- Being an accessible point of contact for the children living with our carers and to our young people, keeping them up to date with the facilities and opportunities available with TACT

About the team
Sitting under the Communications and Engagement team at Shelter Scotland, our tight-knit team comprises of a Supporter Mobilisation Manager, a Senior Marketing and Brand Executive, a Marketing Executive as well as a Supporter Engagement Executive (this role). As a team, we work to deliver on Shelter Scotland’s ambitious strategy by leading our activities that help driver engagement both on a local and national scale.

About the role
Working as a Supporter Engagement Executive, you will use your expertise to coordinate and deliver projects that are driving engagement with our key audiences. As an experienced Supporter Engagement Executive, you’ll be working with our Income Generation teams to support with fundraising and awareness projects to maximise our impact with Scottish audiences. Not only helping us to ensure that Shelter Scotland can deliver on its supporter strategy, you will use mass-mobilisation to achieve supporter growth which will help us to win our campaigns and achieve long-term change.
Your day to day role will involve working with the Supporter Mobilisation Manager to develop and test new supporter propositions and strategies, as well as producing powerful and engaging approaches and materials that align with our Shelter Scotland brand.

About you
You’ll need to be confident on working on ambitious multi-channel awareness or fundraising campaigns that can drive supporter acquisition or retention, as well as being able to inspire and motivate our supporters to take action. As well as having excellent communication skills, you’ll be a data-driven individual who is able and confident to assess the impact of work while adopting a test and learn approach. What’s more, you’ll be knowledgeable on integrated channel planning as well as have a familiarity with paid media, including display, PPC, SEO and social media advertising. The Assessing Social Worker will be responsible for ensuring the success of TACT's projects and change initiatives. The successful candidate will take a pan-organisation view of all projects and other change activities and seek to ensure that the organisation’s leaders have timely, complete, relevant and accurate information on the status of change activities and early insights into potential issues and opportunities.
Whilst being homebased, the Assessing Social Worker will be required to travel for visits, across the East and West Midlands areas. There is also a requirement to be able to travel to Team meetings, wellbeing days, TACT away days and other in person events across the UK as and when required.
Core Assessing Social Worker Tasks include:
- Preparing applicants for the fostering role
- Promoting and supporting the development of trauma informed foster care / therapeutic parenting

The main role requirements for this role include:
- BA or Master’s in Social Work or Dip SW, CSS or CQSW qualification
- Social Work England Registration
- Post qualifying experience including relevant family placement work or post qualifying experience in other child-care settings which must include statutory childcare work
- Experience of assessing foster families and preparing them for the fostering tasks
- A proven track record in working with and on behalf of children and foster families, using a trauma-informed therapeutic approach
- A passion for ensuring children receive the highest quality care from their foster family

About the role
Sightsavers' content and stories team has responsibility for developing creative concepts and content in response to communications briefs, as well as supporting the organisation with video and editorial services, and sourcing photography, video, audio and written stories from projects across Africa and South Asia. This work generates a huge volume of multimedia digital assets which need to be easily searchable by everyone in the organisation. We've recently moved to a new digital asset management system which requires an ongoing process of training and development.
We are looking for a Digital Asset Manager to be responsible for embedding and maintaining our new digital asset management system (Asset Bank), offering training and support to teams using and uploading assets. You'll work closely with content producers and story collectors to develop workflows preparing and uploading new content and you'll lead their implementation. Would you like to be part of the team providing specialist benefit, debt and money advice that could have a real impact on people’s lives?
We are enhancing and increasing resource across this vital service, to ensure that we continue to meet the needs of our beneficiaries, expanding from three to four regional teams. We are looking for advisers to join our friendly and passionate team. As an organisation we are committed to providing a high quality and consistent service to our beneficiaries.
As a Benefits, Debt and Money Adviser, you will provide a comprehensive community-based debt advice service to beneficiaries who are experiencing difficulties, advising on their legal position and all the suitable options available through a mixture of face-to-face, telephone and email interactions.
In addition, you will carry out income maximisation through identifying and advising on entitlement, and the take up of appropriate benefits. There is an expectation you will also deliver specialist level welfare benefits casework including the preparation of written submissions and representation at appeal tribunals. To achieve this, full training and coaching is provided with an expectation to complete the training framework and sign off process within two years of appointment.
The role is home based with occasional travel required throughout the region, this includes travel to home visits and tribunal locations, in addition to national team meetings and training. We do cover travel expenses.
Living within the Northeast of England or Yorkshire area or in commutable distance to one of the areas is essential in being able to undertake this role.
This position is also subject to pre-employment checks including an Enhanced DBS check.
