Job description

We are seeking an experienced and driven Corporate Partnerships lead to develop and implement Plantlife’s Corporate Fundraising strategy, maximising income from existing and new corporate partners and building long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with some of the leading companies in the UK.

You will have a strong understanding of effective corporate fundraising techniques, the motivations for corporate involvement in charity partnerships, and experience of achieving financial targets. As part of this role, and working with the Director of Fundraising and Marketing, you will manage Plantlife’s Development team of three who specialise in grants, trusts and foundations, donors and legacies, whilst your personal focus remains on corporate partnerships.

To this end, a knowledge of the full fundraising landscape will be important, as will a highly professional and creative approach, and excellent communication skills alongside the ability to prioritise tasks and work calmly under pressure to meet multiple deadlines.

An understanding of, and interest in, Plantlife International’s environmental conservation and campaigning work would be an advantage.
