The Eve Appeal

Director of Finance and Culture

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000

Hours: Full time – 35 hours a week

Contract: Permanent

Location: London, W14

To start: ASAP

The Eve Appeal is the only UK national charity raising awareness and funding research into the five gynaecological cancers – womb, ovarian, cervical, vulval and vagina. We were set up to save women’s lives by funding ground-breaking research focused on developing effective methods of risk prediction, earlier detection and developing screening for these women-only cancers.

We are looking for a Director of Finance and Culture to join our dynamic team at The Eve Appeal, with have prime responsibility for finance, HR, corporate services (including IT and facilities management), risk governance and programme delivery.

You’ll need to be motivated, flexible and well-organised, with a problem solving approach and the ability to multitask. This is a challenging but varied role – you’ll write papers for Board of Trustee meetings, ensure our next contract with our IT providers is fit for purpose, evaluate our progress in ensuring Eve is a great place to work and deliver our annual accounts and audit – so it’ll suit someone who enjoys working across different areas and is able to manage competing priorities.
