Finance Business Partner (Corporate Services)
Job Purpose
- To be the lead accountant within the finance function supporting our corporate activities, including HR, Comms, Finance and Property & Operations
- To lead our annual budget setting process and annual refresh of our Five Year Plan
Remit
Finance Business Partnering support for HR, Comms & Finance
- Be the primary point of contact between finance and heads of department
- Support budget holders in managing their budgets, advising and upskilling them where necessary

Our ideal candidate will have a background within the charity/not for profit sector and experience in handling an investment portfolio. The role is home based with some travel in/around Hampshire and the IOW. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a new challenge and a step up. Our financial information is highly visible to our donors and grantees, so this role is a crucial enabler for the effective delivery of all areas of our work. The Finance Officer/Bookkeeper will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely finance administration, across two databases (currently Sage and Salesforce). This is a vital role within HIWCF, as high quality finance information is fundamental to our role and reputation in the region as a trusted partner for our fundholders and grantees.
Key Tasks
· Adding all payments transactions (grants, invoices, salaries, expenses, HMRC payments etc) to Sage and the bank accounts, ensuring all evidence is correct and payments are correctly authorised
· Adding all donation income to Sage and Salesforce, and working with other team members to ensure they are acknowledged appropriately
· Adding all quarterly investment income to Sage and Salesforce and reconciling across both databases, and to the investment house reports and bank account
· Regular reconciliations between Sage and Salesforce and bank accounts
· Ensure HMRC payments and gift aid claims are undertaken in a timely manner
· Manage banking records
· Monthly reconciliations for Bank account, purchase ledger, Sage, Salesforce, prepayments, accruals, salaries, PAYE, pension etc
· Monthly journals for non-cost items
· Manage pension with NEST and other ad hoc pension providers and manage insurances

The role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative finance assistant to join our friendly and dynamic finance operations team of 4. You will play an important part in ensuring that day-to-day finance is run smoothly. Main areas of responsibility

Purchase ledger (80%)
- Process purchase ledger invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with FareShare’s policies and procedures.
- Process staff and volunteer expenses ensuring accuracy and compliance with FareShare’s policies.
- Set up payment runs bi-weekly, ensuring every invoice has been processed accurately, into the correct cost centre and authorised in line with the delegated authority.

Sales ledger (20%):

The Finance and Operations Administrator will provide finance and administrative support on a range of business activities, reporting to the newly appointed Head of Finance and Operations and working alongside the new HR and Facilities Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Finance team. You will work alongside the other Finance Officer to ensure that Richmond Borough Mind’s financial administration operates in an efficient and timely manner.

The Institute is seeking to employ a Head of Finance to lead the financial administration of the organisation through its next stage of development.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a health membership charity for a Head of Finance, on a full-time, permanent basis. You will lead the Finance Function of the charity and be responsible for managing and maintaining this function, including financial processes, internal controls and documentation, planning and reporting.

The role
This is an important and exciting post for the organisation and as the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for leading best practice financial reporting and analysis for the charity. The role has two direct reports (as part of a team of five) and involves working across the organisation and with senior leadership and trustees to deliver and communicate first class management information.
This is impactful and broad Head of Finance role, but to give an idea of focus, the core areas of delivery will include:
- Statutory accounts & audit – act as the primary contact for the external auditor, ensure the accounts are consistent with financial standards requirements and delivered on time

The Role
JLGB are recruiting a Finance & Fundraising Coordinator who will play a vital role in helping the charity achieve its financial, fundraising and organisational objectives. Supporting the Director of Operations & Finance, the role is essential for the smooth running of the charity’s finances, collaborating with teams across JLGB, as well as volunteers and external suppliers. Purpose of job:
To ensure the right cost structure, financial operating platform, systems and controls are in place to deliver Comic Relief’s vision and strategy, making sure investments are effectively managed and protected and making sure high levels of integrity are upheld.

Job Description
As the Finance Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing various financial aspects within our organisation and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role will require a strong understanding of gift aid compliance, legislative changes, and financial account management. Additionally, you will act as the subject matter expert for finance systems and serve as a backup for the Finance Manager when necessary.
The Finance Officer is part of the All Souls staff team supporting the church's ministry, being part of team fellowship and prayer groups. The staff, church officers and wider church family work together to deliver our vision and, as we do so, we can live out our Christian beliefs in every aspect of the daily life of the church. As a senior member of the staff team, you will play a full part in the life of the Church, including weekly staff fellowship and prayer groups, occasional attendance at the Prayer Gathering and on occasions representing the church externally.
Responsibilities
- Accurately submit gift aid claims to HMRC for all charities under our organisation, ensuring adherence to regulations and guidelines.
- Keep abreast of legislative changes from HMRC related to gift aid and ensure all charities comply with the latest requirements.
- Oversee bank and investment accounts, liaising with banks and ensuring smooth information flow between the bank and charity trustees. Prepare monthly reconciliations for active bank accounts, SOLDO cards, Credit cards etc.
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for finance systems, overseeing the testing and implementation of new giving platforms, and providing setup and training for the team.
