As part of our award-winning events team, you'll play a fundamental role in the success of our diverse portfolio, from cycling and running events to bespoke initiatives like Poppy Walks and Survival Challenges. Your community-focused approach, knowledge of military networks, and proven experience in building relationships will be crucial in achieving participant recruitment targets.
Working closely with the Events Partnerships Manager, you'll contribute to on-the-day event delivery, ensuring a first-class supporter experience. Your role involves marketing and promotion, identifying local opportunities, and utilising free promotional avenues to maximise event exposure.

You will be contracted to our London Hub. To manage, guide and direct the mentoring and practical support which DYP’s volunteers provide to young unaccompanied asylum seekers and refugees and, when necessary, to provide mentoring alongside the volunteers. The focus of this role will be to work with local partners to support young people to build a strong network of support, access positive activities, and build community connections. This will be developed through 1-1 mentoring, outreach, accompanying and the delivery of group sessions at our weekly youth clubs. The post holder will work alongside Da’aro Youth Project (DYP) caseworkers to ensure that the young people who access this programme are supported holistically, so that their emotional, cultural and social needs are met alongside their more practical concerns. Our service also focuses on developing the independence and leadership skills of young people involved in the programme and on building relationships with partners in the local community so that there is a stronger network of support and solidarity.
