Kinship is seeking to recruit an experienced individual to provide a range of coordination and administrative support to our development team as part of Kinship Carer Training and Support Service, funded by the Department for Education.
What you'll be doing:

Supporting the Development team to engage Local Authorities and other strategic partners in Kinship’s work

Using our CRM database – Salesforce – to collect and manage data, analyse the effectiveness of work, identify trends, and support work planning

Generating regular reports for internal use and external partners demonstrating the reach and impact of our work

Liaising with local authorities and other strategic partners regarding our Kinship Carer Training and Support Service, sharing information, making connections

Collaborating with colleagues in Development and Marketing teams to execute our communications plan for partners e.g. diarising e-mail newsletters, collating content.

Coordinating the creation and updating of central materials and resources for partners

Scheduling meetings, agendas, note-taking; some diary management

Supporting colleagues to adhere to our mobilisation and project management processes for effective delivery of projects and outcomes

Volunteers are vital to our charity, the provide over 100,000 hours of support a year to our work. As our charity’s volunteer programme has grown over the last few years, we need to increase our capacity to recruit and better support our volunteers.
This role is focus on improving the support with give to our volunteers who care for our dogs and pups in training. There we are not just looking for someone who is experienced working with volunteers and is great with people, but someone who has presentation or teaching skills. So they can talk to groups of volunteers to help them develop the skills and confidence to have a positive experience and impact when volunteering with our charity. Candidate who have a good knowledge of dogs would be a real advantage.
Recruitment of new volunteers is also a key part of this role and so we will require the post holder to manage activity to achieve this, including some occasional weekend and evening work at specific recruitment events.

This role is vital for CARAS’ presence in the sector. Our communications have grown in quality and reach over the last several years, and we now have a recognisable visual style and verbal tone. Our communications utilise several social media platforms, reaching a range of audiences via LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and instagram. We also have growing links with local press. In addition, this role also has responsibility for our newsletter to supporters, having a direct impact on our fundraising capabilities.

The Gift Processing Manager works within Supporter Services, with line management responsibility of the Gift Processing Coordinator. You will be raising money to support research; to enable students from around the world and from every background to come and study at Oxford; and to help promote the public understanding of Physics. Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) is a Christian mission organisation using light aircraft to deliver help, hope and healing in over 25 countries. For more than 75 years, MAF aircraft have been overcoming inaccessible terrain transporting mission and development agency staff, delivering urgent aid and medical supplies to transform the lives of remote and isolated communities.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic communicator with experience of inspiring, leading and managing volunteers. You will help drive forward MAF’s reach, by cultivating strong relationships with churches and other community groups throughout Scotland to raise awareness of the work of MAF. The primary focus will be to expand MAF’s presence in Scotland, engage new audiences by fostering meaningful connections and partnerships with church leaders and delivering presentations in churches and other groups. Additionally, you will spearhead the MAF in the Community (Scotland) Volunteer Programme, aligning it with MAF UK’s strategic objectives and church engagement strategies to bolster prayer support, donated income, and recruitment to overseas roles, by growing, training and inspiring our volunteer base, to facilitate more opportunities to speak in churches and other community groups.
Proven experience in fundraising and managing volunteers is essential as is the ability to envision and inspire others thereby building trusting relationships. Organisational skills (including event management), and training others in biblical engagement is foundational.
The job will be based from our Scottish Office; Challenge House, 29 Canal Street, Glasgow, G4 0AD. The position is part time (minimum 22.5 hours per week). However, full time (36 hours per week) would be considered. Hours should be agreed with line manager according to the flexible working policy. The working hours for this role will vary as there will be evening/weekend work.
Benefits/Entitlement
- Annual leave entitlement of 22 days (158.5 hours) per year plus 9 days (66 hours) paid public holidays per year, pro rata.
- Non-contributory pension scheme (10%) salary.

- 3 month probation period with review

- Salary: £35,900 pro rata

Salary: £20k - £23k depending on experience.
