Job description

Events Fundraising Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Community Engagement team at Haven House.  We are looking for an Events Fundraising Officer to work alongside our Events Fundraising Manager to support and maximise our popular events portfolio comprising of national flagship Third Party Challenges, such as the Virgin Money London Marathon, Royal Parks Half Marathon, and staff-led events including our incredibly successful Sparkle Walk. You will be part of a successful team as we grow our participant numbers year on year. This is an exciting and pivotal role that will allow the right, enthusiastic person to develop in our goal to constantly improve and innovate what we do.

We are looking for someone to work on a variety of projects who is able to provide a first class customer service, build great relationships at all levels and to take responsibility for the Challenge Event portfolio. You will work closely with our internal marketing team and have the ability to liaise with our third party suppliers externally.

You will get to work with an energetic and passionate team and have the opportunity to help our events grow.

This role will be based at Haven House Children’s Hospice in Woodford Green, offering free parking or easy access from the Central Line.
