JOB DESCRIPTION AND PERSON SPECIFICATION
The Individual Giving Manager (Retention) will work within the Public Fundraising Team and play a key part in growing and sustaining income from our individual giving audiences of cash donors and regular giving supporters. You will work closely with the Deputy Director of Fundraising, Individual Giving Manager (Acquisition), Supporter Care Officer and Database Manager and will be responsible for the development, project management and delivery of the supporter retention, renewal and stewardship program. This is a great role for someone with existing individual giving fundraising experience, who would like the opportunity to use analysis and insights to develop and shape retention and stewardship activity, with the drive to deliver a program which aspires be best in class.

Role Responsibilities:
This role plays a key part in driving income growth and sustainability in our Individual Giving programme.
Your priorities will include:
· Driving the strategic and operational planning of Individual Giving to deliver strong income growth and return of investment (ROI), ensuring agreed targets and KPIs are achieved in relation to retention and conversion of existing donors.
· Devising and delivering the overall Individual Giving retention and stewardship budget to maximise opportunities for growth, preparing robust annual income and expenditure budgets and operational plans.
Strategy, planning and delivery:
· Develop and manage donor retention and upgrade for cash donors and regular givers across all channels to increase our supporter base, maximising ROI.
· Devise and deliver the overall Individual Giving retention and stewardship budget to maximise opportunities for growth, preparing robust annual income and expenditure budgets and ops plans, reforecasting these on a quarterly basis and engaging with month end processes.
· Lead the delivery of an impactful stewardship programme, which includes managing the supporter newsletter to optimise donor retention and development across all supporters, delivering exceptional donor experience; oversee timely responses to donors.
· Optimise data and data capture opportunities to help us better understand our supporters, inform strategy and ultimately deliver insight to help drive retention and lifetime value.
· Provide timely high-quality reporting with robust analysis and recommendations to improve performance – utilising your Individual Giving expertise and sector benchmarks.
· Adopt a test and learn mentality to strategic planning, developing new activities to provide the charity with a balanced portfolio of offers for new/existing donors.
· Direct and manage external suppliers to execute the Individual Giving retention programme to meet agreed budgets, timelines and KPIs.

About the role
The postholder will have a unique opportunity to lead delivery of our communications strategy, supporting the delivery of our organisational objectives and ensuring we maximise our 20th anniversary year to raise IHP’s profile and grow our community.

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. MAP is the leading UK charity delivering health and medical care to those worst affected by conflict, occupation and displacement, in the occupied Palestinian territory, including Gaza, and Lebanon.
MAP is in a period of ambitious growth and rapid development, as we respond to the massive humanitarian crisis in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon. Due to this growth, we are seeking a Director of Fundraising and Marketing to lead the development and delivery of an ambitious and data driven fundraising strategy.
Purpose of role
The purpose of this role within MAP is to build a high-performing fundraising and marketing team in the UK, and in new international markets, to drive and stabilise significantly increased fundraising performance across a range of income streams. Leadership

The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is a UK-based charity that aims to improve the lives of people with cystic fibrosis and their families. We are looking to recruit a Facilities Manager for our site in South Westminster. The site is one of our most important resources and enables us to provide accommodation for up to 39 young people as well as excellent services to homeless children, families and young people.
This is an exciting and varied role in our Central Services team that will partner closely with the Director of Finance and Operations. You will be responsible for delivering a safe and secure living environment for the young people in our Hostel and Supported living accommodation as well as ensuring that our offices are maintained to a high standard and provide a place of welcome to our clients. You will also act as the organisation’s health and safety officer and manage a budget of approximately £250k for facilities management.

The role
FareShare’s recent increased brand profile and consumer awareness, along with our dual purpose in creating both social and environmental impact, gives us a strong proposition for Corporate Partners. We currently have partnerships with a large variety of exciting brands from Tesco to Oliver Bonas, McDonalds to Subway, Kellogg’s to Pink Lady apples and Bloomberg to Burberry – our partnerships are many and varied.
As a Corporate Partnerships Manager (New Business) you will be responsible for securing new innovative collaborations with a wide variety of corporate companies to support the important work of FareShare including: charity of the year partnerships; commercial brand licensing deals; and multifaceted sponsorships/partnerships. You will work closely with colleagues across the whole of FareShare to create transformational and mutually beneficial relationships.
To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record of securing income/partnerships, within a fundraising/sponsorship/commercial sales environment, as well as experience of working with a broad range of stakeholders to create high-quality proposals. You will be self-motivated with strong organisational skills and an ability to set priorities, manage a prospect pipeline and meet deadlines. We’re looking for a creative relationship builder with strong commercial awareness and an eye for spotting income generating potential. You will be comfortable pitching to potential partners and will lead on negotiating bespoke deals and benefits packages.
You will work closely with the Senior New Business Manager and Officer to improve our ways of working, manage and diversify our pipeline and deliver our ambitious growth strategy.
Main areas of responsibility
- Ensure financial and non-financial targets are achieved by securing new corporate supporters
- Work with the Senior Partnerships Manager and other Corporate Partnerships Manager to develop and deliver the wider corporate partner strategy
- Manage and lead a strong pipeline of identifying, researching, prospecting and cultivating potential corporate support
- Working proactively to lead the approach on prospective partners who have the capacity to give £50k and engage them in FareShare and our work
- Create and deliver inspiring and compelling pitches tailored to prospective high value corporate supporters for opportunities such as Charity of the Year, cause related marketing, sponsorship and strategic partnerships
- Deliver cultivation strategies for prospective corporate supporters and monitor their effectiveness
- Devise compelling collateral for prospective corporate supporters including engaging proposals, cases for support and captivating stewardship resources
- Collaborate with Food Team Senior Managers and Commercial Managers on pitches to convert food partners into income generation partners
- Work with the Marketing and Volunteering teams to identify new opportunities and ensure proposals include appropriate levels and timely planning of communications support
- Work with the Senior Corporate Partnerships Managers and Corporate Partnerships Managers on identifying and packaging new funding opportunities across the business
- Instil partnership excellence in the transition of partners from new business to account management
- Nurture relationships with marketing, PR and promotional agencies by demonstrating FareShare’s impact and consumer appeal
- With colleagues across Fundraising, undertake extensive horizon scanning and deploy innovative techniques to ensure our pipeline is diverse and sustainable
- Maintain accurate cultivation plans and reporting for new business approaches
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of relevant legal and charity guidelines and ensure these are implemented across new partnerships

- Significant track record of securing new high value income/partnerships in either a charity or commercial environment
- Target driven, proactive and creative with the ability to create and deliver compelling pitches and proposals tailored to corporate audiences and their varied business objectives
- Commercial awareness with knowledge of various corporate sectors and relevant VAT considerations
- Experience managing a new business pipeline, qualifying new business leads and establishing new relationships
- Demonstrable experience of negotiating partnership deals and redrafting commercial participator agreements or similar legal contracts
