About the Role

An experienced Relationship Builder, you’ll represent the Charity with our national partners and licensees, ensuring we build strong and lasting relationships. You will work collaboratively across Help for Heroes, building relationships to take a holistic approach to relationship management, maximising all opportunities. You will develop and fulfil robust stewardship plans, identifying opportunities for growth, stewarding partners to increased and continued support of our work. You will also take a proactive approach to finding new business opportunities, developing creative propositions and bringing in additional income.

About the Team

A key member of the Corporate Partnerships team, which is a part of the High Value Partnership team, Commercial Directorate. You will be joining the team at an exciting time for growth and this role will play an integral part in our strategy building on our successful existing corporate partnerships. The Partnerships team are based across the UK, working remotely but with regular opportunities for face to face meetings with the team, partners and beneficiaries. About the Role 

The ideal candidate will provide excellent administrative and operational support to the Philanthropy team, including specific well-written copy for fundraising collateral, engaging thank you letters, impactful cases for support.

Identify, generate, develop and grow a portfolio of major donors, contributing to an agreed income target.

Your role will be varied, responsible for supporting the Philanthropy team to generate, develop and grow income from a portfolio of major donors through positive and impactful relationships and excellent stewardship. You will be a team player, able to efficiently manage and prioritise your time.

About You

Help For Heroes are looking for a highly skilled, professional, and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our expanding clinical team. Are you a committed, flexible OT with a minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience looking to expand your skills and have the opportunity to work with the Armed Forces Community? If you have the ability to work independently but still enjoy having the support of a team, you could contribute your skills and experience to improve quality of life. Are you happy to embrace a flexible work pattern as the position will involve frequent travel to meet veterans in their own homes and communities and other organisational commitments including inductions, training and team meetings which may require some overnight stays?  If you have experience of delivering Occupational Therapy in both physical and mental health conditions, then your holistic approach will help improve lives. Sleep difficulties and sensory needs are a large part of the role to enable veterans to live as they want to so experience in these areas would be beneficial.

About the Role

You will have the opportunity to work in the homes and local communities and be able to support them with physical and mental health needs that are creating barriers to meaningful occupation. By carrying your own defined caseload, you will be able to identify barriers that are affecting veterans’ ability to be as independent as possible and live the life they want to live. You will be assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating Occupational Therapy interventions for those who have served our country and improving the quality of life of our Heroes. You will have the opportunity to be creative in your solutions and the community setting will allow you to address these needs in the best environment for the Armed Forces Community. You will be joining the clinical team at Help for Heroes to provide community based Occupational Therapy input to armed forces veterans. My client, a fantastic national Charity now has an urgent interim requirement for a Senior HR Adviser to join their HR team for an initial 3-6 month period. Please note, this role offers fully remote working and requires a full-time, 35 hours per week commitment.

This organisation is looking to deliver a rapid review and overhaul of its HR service that currently supports approximately 300 colleagues and is looking for someone to provide additional support in the initial phases of this transition. As Senior HR Adviser you will work as part of a small HR team to provide a generalist HR service to the organisation, whilst also helping to drive the function forward by reviewing, identifying and recommending areas for future HR development and investment. Particular focuses in the short-term will include supporting managers to resolve a range of ER issues cases such as performance and sickness absence, updating a suite of HR policies, supporting the development of a new performance framework and reward and recognition framework, looking at current recruitment practices, particularly through an EDI lens, supporting the development of wellbeing initiatives, exploring opportunities to increase usage and impact from the HRIS, and lots more!

This role will suit a proactive HR professional with a proven and demonstrable breadth of generalist HR advisory experience and knowledge spanning the full employee lifecycle and HR remit. Importantly, my client is looking for a self-starter with a flexible and adaptable approach to tackling what needs to be done, and who thrives in a fast-moving, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will also enjoy using their initiative to identify opportunities and drive improvements in HR processes, practices and impacts, and also bring a very hands-on approach to getting things done.

Marketing & Recruitment Officer

Role Summary:

The Teacher Development Trust are seeking an energetic, curious and highly organised Marketing & Recruitment Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for education and the important work of teachers and schools. They will  play a pivotal role in increasing our reach and impact by promoting our offers to schools, trusts and other education sector organisations, generating leads and supporting school engagement by executing effective marketing strategies.

Location: TDT’s offices are based in Finsbury Park. This role is mainly home-working, however applicants will need to be a commutable distance to the London office to take part in team days or other face to face meetings as required.

Hours per week: 37.5

Contract basis: Full time

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum depending on experience

As we consolidate and expand the reach of our work, we are now seeking an energetic, curious and highly organised Marketing and Recruitment Officer to join our team.  A commitment to working in education is a must.

This is an exciting opportunity in a fast-growing and influential education charity. We're looking for a proactive, confident communicator with an understanding of the education landscape to join our team in supporting our existing services and programmes. We have an excellent track record of developing staff within the charity, as well as staff who have taken their careers into schools, other charities and the public sector.

Particular to the Marketing and Recruitment Officer, guided by  by the School Engagement Manager:

• To contribute to the creation of strategic marketing plans to promote Teacher Development Trust's services.  Helping to shape activity to provide a better understanding of the efficacy and reach of our products and services and ensuring that information and data are shared effectively across the organisation.

• To utilise various marketing channels including digital platforms, social media, website and traditional marketing methods including email and newsletters, to reach target audiences.  You will collaborate with the team to create and distribute compelling content, promotional materials and campaigns.

• To stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities and emerging opportunities and share this information as appropriate across the organisation to put TDT in the best position to respond in the advancement of our charitable aims and objectives.

• To support the planning and organisation of events such as workshops, webinars and conferences to showcase Teacher Development Trust's offerings and coordinate TDT presence at external events.  This will include representing the organisation at events to network and promote our services.

• To work closely with the internal teams, including the content development and participant experience teams, to ensure seamless service delivery, satisfaction, retention and brand loyalty.  You will also collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to explore potential synergies and business opportunities.

• To support the wider interaction between the organisation and the sector, in particular supporting carefully planned and considered marketing and communications activity as well as responding to emerging news stories and other agendas.  Where appropriate this may include working with journalists and other key sector influencers.

Experience, qualities and skills:

• Proven experience in marketing roles either within the education sector or elsewhere.

• Knowledge of the current educational landscape, including an understanding of professional development or a genuine interest in developing that knowledge.

• An active interest in continuously developing both generalist and technical marketing expertise.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present information clearly, striking the correct tone with a range of internal and external audiences.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Excellent problem solving skills and the initiative to continuously improve.

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.

• Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms (Salesforce, Mailchimp, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Asana, Divi, Wordpress)  would be an advantage but not essential - the appetite to learn is essential.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• A strong commitment to education, the non-profit sector and improving educational outcomes for children and young people.
