JOB DESCRIPTION AND PERSON SPECIFICATION
The Individual Giving Manager (Retention) will work within the Public Fundraising Team and play a key part in growing and sustaining income from our individual giving audiences of cash donors and regular giving supporters. Role Responsibilities:
This role plays a key part in driving income growth and sustainability in our Individual Giving programme.
Your priorities will include:
· Driving the strategic and operational planning of Individual Giving to deliver strong income growth and return of investment (ROI), ensuring agreed targets and KPIs are achieved in relation to retention and conversion of existing donors.
· Devising and delivering the overall Individual Giving retention and stewardship budget to maximise opportunities for growth, preparing robust annual income and expenditure budgets and operational plans.
Strategy, planning and delivery:
· Develop and manage donor retention and upgrade for cash donors and regular givers across all channels to increase our supporter base, maximising ROI.
· Devise and deliver the overall Individual Giving retention and stewardship budget to maximise opportunities for growth, preparing robust annual income and expenditure budgets and ops plans, reforecasting these on a quarterly basis and engaging with month end processes.
· Lead the delivery of an impactful stewardship programme, which includes managing the supporter newsletter to optimise donor retention and development across all supporters, delivering exceptional donor experience; oversee timely responses to donors.

Individual Giving Fundraiser
Summary and key purpose (fundraising)
This new role will be primarily responsible for developing, marketing and managing our individual giving together with working across other fundraising disciplines. You will be a key member of our fundraising team, producing compelling fundraising communications, stewarding individual donors, including regular donors and gifts in memory. You will ensure that our donors receive excellent care.
Our Individual Giving programme will incorporate one-off donations, regular giving, digital fundraising, appeals and in-memory giving. You will do this, with the support of our recently appointed fundraising agency, who you will manage our relationship with week by week.
A critical element of the role will be how we market ourselves to potential new donors, taking them on an emotional engagement journey in order to solicit regular gifts.
Your expertise and skills:
To excel in this role, you will need prior experience of working in a fundraising setting, with an understanding of good stewardship practices. You should be a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment, working across teams and meeting multiple deadlines. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develop and implement a Supporter Experience strategy, consulting with colleagues from across the charity to set clear long-term and short-term objectives, with KPI based engagement targets.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Retail Operations Manager to join our Retail Team. This role will require the successful candidate to be responsible for running the logistics required for a disperse network of charity shops, including the supply and distribution of stock; management of suppliers, landlords and associated stakeholders and ensuring that all compliance requirements are fulfilled.
The role will also support the delivery of the retail strategy to drive income growth and increase footfall and to support new business initiatives.
Role Requirements
Operational Management
- Manage the generation and distribution of stock, including organising the logistics for van deliveries and collections to meet both shops and customer requirements.
- Support the development and optimisation of the Redhill distribution hub.
- Manage key internal and external stakeholders including suppliers, landlords and internal support teams, ensuring that an efficient and compliant service is maintained.

The Role
JLGB are recruiting a Finance & Fundraising Coordinator who will play a vital role in helping the charity achieve its financial, fundraising and organisational objectives. Supporting the Director of Operations & Finance, the role is essential for the smooth running of the charity’s finances, collaborating with teams across JLGB, as well as volunteers and external suppliers. With some support from JLGB’s administration team, you will be undertaking all financial transactions including payment runs, bank and income reconciliations. Managing our donor database, ensuring that Gift Aid is collected regularly. Are you a natural leader and excellent communicator who wants to join an enthusiastic, friendly and ambitious team of fundraisers, in a much loved charity making a difference to local people’s lives?
St Wilfrid’s Hospice is looking for a motivated Philanthropy Manager to lead the development and growth of the charity’s Major Donor and Trust and Foundation strategies.
You will work alongside the Head of Fundraising and the Director of Income Generation implementing innovative stewardship programmes and securing high value income, maximising Major Gifts to achieve the charities fundraising targets.
You will take on a rewarding and satisfying position and join an innovative and ambitious team, open to new ideas and challenges.
This role will give the ideal candidate the opportunity to really make their mark.
Qualifications and Experience
- Institute of Fundraising Level 7, or qualified to the same level by experience (Essential)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supporter Care Team Leader to join our Supporter Services team. You will join us working 35 hours per week, on a 12 month fixed term contract and will be based at both our National Cat Centre in East Sussex and from home. In return you will receive a salary of up to £30,781.96 per annum plus excellent benefits.
Since 1927, Cats Protection has helped thousands of cats each year, across the UK. As a community of volunteers, employees, supporters and partners, we’ve improved the lives of millions of cats and transformed the way millions of people see and care for cats.
The Supporter Services team is part of the Cats Protection Marketing & Income Generation directorate. We answer queries from supporters about memberships, sponsorships, lotteries, raffles and donations. We also record and update the contact preferences of our supporters to ensure we only send communications which are wanted. The Supporter Services team is also responsible for the management of the Gift Aid scheme for Cats Protection, claiming money back from HMRC to provide much needed assistance to the many cats and kittens in need of help. We look to provide the best service possible to our supporters, although we never stop striving to improve this service.
Responsibilities of our Supporter Care Team Leader:
As Supporter Care Team Leader you will lead a team of Supporter Services Advisors, who are the first point of contact for fundraising enquiries, and through direct communication with supporters via a variety of channels (including inbound and outbound telephone calls, letters, email and social media response), build loyal, committed relationships with supporters. You will establish and maintain processes and procedures to provide a first-class level of customer care to current and potential supporters.
What we’re looking for in our Supporter Care Team Leader:
- Demonstrable experience of line managing staff including setting objectives, managing performance, conduct, staff development, induction and training in line with organisational policies
- Demonstrable experience in a supporter relations or customer care environment
- Experience of delivering a high quality of telephone-based customer support or service
- Experience of handling complex complaints and queries
- Understanding of compliance within an supporter care environment, including Data Protection, Fundraising Code of Practice, Gift Aid etc.
