The Programme Support Officer is a new and additional role at The Talent Foundry to support our ambition to change the landscape in social mobility.
This is a role that will work across all facets of our programme delivery and school engagement. Every day will be different and you'll get to work with teachers, volunteers, our facilitator network and our funders every day.
The role
You’ll be a brilliant administrator, someone who is experienced in using technology and processes to support colleagues, funders and schools to engage and support young people. You actively identify ways to support your colleagues balance their competing priorities and keep projects moving towards their goals.
Your experience
- Managing multiple and often conflicting priorities
- Use of IT, data and systems to operate efficient programmes, evaluate and measure their success
- Analysing data and writing updates/reports
- Understanding of and interest in the education sector
- Sales / outreach (desirable)
This is a hybrid role. You will be working from home and join Team Together Days in a co-working space in London 2-3 individual days each month. These days are considered commuting days. You do not need to live in London to apply for this role, but you will need to consider a reasonable commuting distance for the team days in London.

We are seeking a dynamic, motivated and bright graduate as a crucial member of our Programmes Team. The Programmes Officer’s role is to coordinate a range of projects relating to the identification and support to children/young people provided with the opportunity to attend boarding and day schools through the bursary programme. You will join a small, close-knit team of 14 staff all passionate about the role that independent and state boarding education can play in lifting the life chances of the most underserved and vulnerable children. The role has a broad remit to support all those in the Programmes Team and so offers exciting opportunities to gain a strong understanding of all aspects of the charity’s work.

Location: This role can be offered on a hybrid basis. RNCSF’s hybrid workers are located at our offices in Shepherds Bush, West London (a shared educational charity office hub) on 2 days per week. Significant UK travel may be required for pupil home and school visits.

The Governance Assistant’s duties and responsibilities include:
Governance

Work closely with the Head of Governance to ensure the charity is compliant with regulatory requirements

The coordination and business arrangements for College of Paramedics meetings, including serving as a Secretariat for meetings, various established or short-term functions of the College. This includes but is not limited to preparing agendas, taking minutes, action logs, sourcing venues, liaising with delegates, booking travel and accommodation, catering, sourcing audio visual equipment and facilitating remote attendance, collating meeting documentation, recording minutes and /actions;

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Hate Crime Reporting Coordinator. As Hate Crimes are still under reported, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in increasing awareness of Hate Crime in Barnet and working on a multi-agency basis to coordinate community awareness raising events, ensuring residents, statutory and voluntary organisations, and others are informed about Hate Crime and know how to report it.
This role requires community engagement, delivering staff training workshops, monitoring and reporting hate crime data, and a commitment to a victim-centred approach.

Key Responsibilities:
· Engage with residents and diverse communities, including disabled people, LGBTQ+ groups, and Gypsy Roma Traveller groups to raise awareness about reporting hate crime.
· Coordinate communications and community events to raise awareness of Hate Crime and encourage reporting.
· Organise and conduct workshops and forums for diverse community groups.
· Train staff and volunteers to identify hate crime and support clients to report incidents to the Police.
· Monitor national and local hate crime data, including incidents recorded by Barnet Hate Crime Reporting Centres and produce quarterly reports of the work to tackle Hate crime in Barnet
· Support victims to report hate crimes and incidents to the Police and signpost to relevant support organisations.
· Support Barnet’s network of Hate Crime Reporting Centres including co-ordinated communications and staff training.
· Develop Barnet’s Safe Places Scheme for people with learning disabilities, autistic adults and adults-at-risk.

About the role

As Consultant Non-Formal Education (NFE), you will support the pursuit, design, delivery and evaluation of projects and programmes across the NFE portfolio by providing high quality operational support, project and contract management, and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
The content and structure of projects depends on local context and needs, supporting the development of localised approaches to global issues such as peace, disinformation, equality, youth leadership and climate change. Projects deliver learning and capacity building activities outside of formal education, broker connections between different stakeholders including governments, civil society and communities and produce insightful and innovative content in our field, such as research on young people’s views and aspirations around the world.
