As our Senior Operations Officer, working closely with the Head of Operations, you will play a vital role in the smooth running of our organisational operations. The remit of the role covers a wide range of functions including senior officer responsibility for ICT systems, office management, building management, and also contributing to Quartet’s strategy in response to carbon reductions and equality, diversity and inclusion.

The ideal candidate for this role will have previous relevant ICT experience, operational experience of supporting a team in an office environment – preferably for a charity or not for profit organisation – and will have the necessary skills to work both practically and professionally with staff and trustees, tenants, and other third parties to deliver the best possible operational delivery across Quartet’s varied services.

The Pituitary Foundation is the UK’s leading charity providing support and information for people living with pituitary conditions, their families, friends and carers. We are based in an office in central Bristol, with some staff and volunteers working remotely throughout the UK. Pituitary conditions are uncommon, usually lifelong and can be life threatening. Conditions include acromegaly, Cushing's, prolactinoma, AVP-Deficiency and hypopituitarism.

This is a new role for the Circuit, replacing a volunteer. In designing the position, the Circuit has aimed for maximum flexibility to secure the best candidate for the role. Initially, the person will need physically to attend some meetings to familiarise themselves with the Circuit's operations and ensure a smooth hand-over. For the right person, though, there will be considerable flexibility about how the duties are fulfilled in the longer-term. It is specifically expected that the role will allow for flexible scheduling to accommodate other responsibilities, including caring.

The Richmond & Hounslow Circuit comprises seven churches in southwest London. As with all Methodist circuits, these churches function autonomously yet collaborate closely in their ministry and mission efforts. The Circuit oversees joint resources, including staff and property. Presently, it employs four full-time ordained ministers, one full-time lay pastor, and a part-time administrator. As a part of the Methodist Church, its mission is “to respond to the gospel of God’s love in Christ and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission”. To fulfil this mission, the Circuit fosters a broad spectrum of ministry within its congregations, focusing on worship but also engaging in outreach to the homeless, asylum seekers, new parents, and various other groups. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Delivering on fundraising priorities and targets for trusts and foundations income, including our current and future major appeals.
2. Researching, identifying, and prioritising appropriate trusts and foundations to maintain and convert a pipeline of new, prospective trusts and foundations.
3. Working with colleagues across the organisation to help shape projects for funding and creating strong Cases for Support to ensure effective applications.
4. Writing and submitting high quality targeted funding applications.
5. Maintaining an effective stewardship programme for trusts and foundations including appropriate accurate records, ensuring the fundraising e-Tapestry database is kept up-todate and that fundraising income is processed efficiently with timely thank you letters and acknowledgements.
6. Managing relationships with existing and new funders to encourage maximum funding, multi-year funding awards and repeat funding.
7. Monitoring outcomes, updating the Funding Matrix and producing timely reports and information as required externally by funders and internally for Management reporting.
8. Promoting the support of funders through press releases and social media posts.

We are looking to recruit a bilingual, French and English speaking, Grants Officer to join our dynamic team of dedicated sexual and reproductive health and rights specialists. The Grants Officer provides support to the Grants Support Team and Grants Operations Manager across a portfolio of grants, ensuring grants move efficiently and in a timely manner through the grant management cycle. The Grants Officer will be trained to become an advanced user of our online Grants Management System Fluxx and will guide and support users who are less conversant with the system. The Grants Officers also support operational management of the fund with the development and maintenance of efficient operating and reporting procedures. 

AmplifyChange is a bi-lingual fund. Due to the current team composition, fluency in French is required, as the postholder will support our Francophone grantees, who are based across West-Africa and occasionally the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

The role is a Bath-based position and will work closely with team members in the UK and overseas, including our Grants Support Team, our Finance Team and our Fiduciary Risk Team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Using our online Grants Management System Fluxx, oversee a portfolio of grants through a grant implementation process from grant set up through to grant closure, ensuring compliance with internal procedures
• Act as the operational focal person for grantees and provide support throughout the grant cycle on contractual, operational and reporting matters, drawing on and coordinating expertise from the Grants Managers and Fiduciary Risk Team (FRT)
• Provide support in the preparation and implementation of new grant calls, and support the selection and Due Diligence process when necessary, responding to all applicants whether successful or unsuccessful
• Regularly monitor the completion of pre-contracting conditions by grantees, and obtain appropriate sign-off internally
• Coordinate, draft and issue Grant Agreements and Addendums using our online system
• Provide regular and up-to-date information to operational management by tracking and monitoring grants, and sharing best practice and lessons learned across the portfolio of grants with other staff members and stakeholder

REPORTING AND ORGANISATION

This is a UK based, full time (37.5 hours/week) permanent position, reporting to the Grants Operations Manager. AmplifyChange is based in Bath, and we operate on a hybrid working model. About the role

As Project Officer you will play a central role in the delivery of INTRAC’s consultancy assignments and grant funded projects. This will involve coordinating short and long term projects, involving staff and consultants through our global network and clients around the world, ensuring effective and quality delivery. We carry out a wide variety of assignments, ranging from project evaluations to bespoke in-house training and learning partner roles for complex, multi-country civil society strengthening programmes.

You will work on a range of activities, such as organising and supporting online learning sessions, meetings or focus groups, coordinating feedback, communicating with team members and clients, administrative tasks, to support the smooth running and success of our work.

You will have an eye for detail, experience providing administrative and coordination support to complex projects and will be comfortable carrying out a number of tasks with competing deadlines at the same time.

The Clean Air Fund is looking to recruit a Finance Officer to join their team in London, Delhi or Accra. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing organisation whose mission is to use philanthropic grants to catalyse a reduction in air pollution.   

As Finance Officer with Clean Air Fund you will support the finance team with a growing organisation and complexity, helping to ensure that the financial processes and procedures of the Clean Air Fund run smoothly, efficiently and effectively, enabling other team members to be effective. 

This role will be responsible for managing all expenses, payments and month end information and processes, such as accruals, bank reconciliations. In addition, they will manage a contracts database and reconciliations between the finance system and the grant management system. 

To be successful in this role you will have; 

• Experience of working within a  finance team, in particular accounts payable
• Excellent numerical skills 
• High quality written and verbal communication skills
• IT proficiency (most specifically in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems).
• A do-er, able to work at pace and respond to opportunities. Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines.
• Happy to work autonomously and with an instinctive pragmatic and problem-solving approach.

Bristol Old Vic’s Fundraising and Development Department is responsible for building financial sustainability for BOV through securing external funding from individuals, corporates and trusts and foundations.

The Development Officer: Individuals & Corporates will secure income from individuals, through our giving schemes and major gifts,  and corporate sponsors who support productions, engagement and community work and the newly formed literary department. You will steward existing donors to the highest standard and conduct proactive research into potential individual and corporate supporters as well as preparing presentations and proposals to secure their support. This role is vital to the current Transforming Fundraising Strategy as it will work to cultivate and steward individual support and corporate partnerships and provide accurate, targeted research to help shape our wider campaigns and approaches. As part of this role, you will  also produce, briefing notes and due diligence reports for, the Director of Fundraising and Development (post to be appointed), BOV leadership team and Trustees.

The Development Officer: Trusts & Foundations will research potential Trust and Foundation supporters and work with colleagues to prepare compelling, successful grant applications. You will develop and steward a portfolio of Trusts and Foundations and establish a pipeline to ensure continued, growing support from them for our programming and engagement work. This role is vital to the current Transforming Fundraising Strategy as it will work on Trusts & Foundation fundraising and provide accurate, targeted research to help shape our campaigns and approaches.
