Role overview: as the Director of RAK, you'll lead our organisation in supporting refugees and asylum seekers in South West London to lead fulfilled and independent lives. Proposals for hybrid working will be considered. Your responsibilities will include:
Strategic Leadership
- Developing and implementing annual plans aligned with our strategy, in collaboration with the Board of Trustees, to achieve desired outcomes.

ROLE OVERVIEW
Working closely in a small and dedicated team, this is a critical position that will ensure the recruitment, engagement and progression of women who take part in our empowerment programmes.
Location: SHED co-working space for 2 days a week or at venues in London for our core programme with women and option to work remotely 1 day a week
Salary: £22,800 for 3 days a week (£38,000 FTE) plus a 5.25% staff pension subject to employee contribution of 1.75%

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure:
- Effective outreach for recruitment onto our programmes
- That women’s programmes run smoothly and that their participants are motivated and supported to complete them through to graduation
- That those women who require 1-1 time with you are provided with this to ensure their safety and to make any referrals to external agencies where required
- All those we work with for the benefit of women on the programmes are engaged eg. short work placement hosts, mentors and venues for activities
- That evaluation data is collected and provided to evaluators/ researchers who edit final annual reports for programmes

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Timetabling online and face-to-face outreach to ensure women are recruited onto programmes in a timely way
- Being the key safeguarding lead at Friday workshops and ensuring that you make 1-1 time for any women who require it (alerting the Head of Operations and People and the CEO and wider team any issues or concerns that need addressing)
- Liaising with the Programmes Coordinator on the timely production of workshop materials and any other course content useful for participants
- Maintaining excellent relationships with workshop providers
- Ensuring that the Programmes Coordinator is across needs for any 1-1 therapy referrals between women and our float of freelance therapists
- Conducting evaluation surveys with women at the start, end and 6 months after they graduate and ensuring all evaluation data is provided to the freelancer responsible for collating the impact of our programmes annually in a final report, as well as providing any data required by the CEO for grant reports
- Signing off on mentor-mentee matches with the Partnerships Manager who recruits mentors

PERSON SPECIFICATION
You will be someone who is naturally warm/ a people person, compassionate and enabling, and who also has fantastic project management/ organisational skills. You may come from a senior youth worker background or other front line organisations working with young vulnerable adults.
Essential:
- Substantial senior experience working with young, including vulnerable, adults
- Proven track record of project/ programme management experience to deliver successful learning/ educational events/ activities for young people

The Young Westminster Foundation (YWF) was established in 2017 to support young people growing up in Westminster to have healthy, safe and bright futures. The Foundation is a cross-sector partnership, working with youth organisations, schools, businesses, funders, government and Westminster City Council and is part of the wider YPF network supporting children across North West London.
We are a membership organisation, supporting local youth organisations through grants, training, research and networking opportunities. THE ROLE:
The Programme and Engagement Manager will be responsible for delivering Young Westminster Foundation’s Helping Hands Programme to tackle Serious Youth Violence in North Westminster. The Helping Hands Programme is a VRU-funded programme set up in 2021 to address the impact of Serious Youth Violence in 3 wards in North Westminster. The programme is led by the voices of young people and community members who have been directly and indirectly affected by youth violence. A community-led fund is available for local organisations and community members to give local people ownership over creating innovative opportunities for the community.
You will be responsible for taking this work to Westminster’s Church Street ward in the North East of the borough, using the learning from the existing programme. You will directly engage with local voluntary organisations and community members, assessing their needs and supporting them in accessing opportunities already available in their area, whilst also identifying any gaps in provision. You will identify forums and proactively create opportunities and spaces through outreach for people to listen and share views.
You will work closely with our Helping Hands Programme Lead and Westminster City Council’s Integrated Gangs and Exploitation Unit (IGXU) to deliver this work, and with the entire YWF team to ensure learning from the programme is joined up with YWF’s other programmes. In particular, you will work closely with our Membership Manager and refer local organisations into our membership for further support, if applicable.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and maintain effective relationships with local communities, including voluntary organisations, young people, parents, schools, businesses and community groups
- Build trust to ensure that communities feel comfortable in sharing and explaining their views and issues
- Oversee a steering group of local young people
- Establish a steering group (Core Community Group) in Church Street ward, made up of local practitioners working with young people and the community affected by Serious Youth Violence, taking learning from the North-West

About the role
The Programme Officer is a new role at Tudor Trust and offers an exciting opportunity to lead transformative initiatives that amplify the voices of under-resourced communities and contribute to systemic change. By the end of 2024, we expect to have three Programme Officers in place.
As a Programme Officer, you will play a pivotal role in reshaping Tudor’s grant-making approach, fostering collaborative relationships with grantees and stakeholders, and contributing to strategic thinking to drive long-term racial, social, and economic change.
The Programme Officers together will oversee a different approach to distributing our funding, which could range from small start-up grants, long term multi-year funding, through to a big bet approach with a focus on larger scale collaboration.

Grant-making Rebuild
- Take a proactive role in rebuilding Tudor’s grant-making strategy, identifying opportunities to develop alternative networks and power-building initiatives within disproportionately disadvantaged communities impacted by discrimination.

Your Role:
As Programme Development Manager, your role will be to oversee the development and writing of high quality, bespoke pitch decks, concept notes, and proposals for business and philanthropic partners. ABOUT THE ROLE
Working closely with the Executive Director of Feedback Global, as well as with other members of the senior team and the Executive Director of Feedback EU, the Fundraising Manager will develop and implement a strategy to raise funds for Feedback Global and Feedback EU, with a target of £3m yearly income across both organisations by the end of 2025.
The overwhelming majority of the funds raised will be from trusts and foundations, and so the role will primarily consist of researching potential trusts and working with the different teams to research and write compelling concept notes and applications. As such, the postholder will be expected to proactively keep informed about developments in the food, social justice, and environmental sectors. The postholder will also lead on reporting to these funders and maintain and develop these relationships. The postholder will work to engage institutional supporters, create connections and develop the organisation’s networks with such funders. The postholder will identify new trusts and foundations and build and maintain a robust pipeline of income generation opportunities.
The postholder will also be expected to contribute to other fundraising projects which might include digital fundraising development, direct marketing, and major donor fundraising, in partnership with the communications team and senior leadership team.

City Harvest – Trusts and Foundations Manager
Location: Acton, London W3. Three days in the office.
Salary: £38,000 - £46,000 per annum depending on experience.

City Harvest, the charity rescuing food to feed people and protect the planet, is seeking an experienced trusts and foundations fundraiser to secure new income from trusts and foundations, and manage a range of existing donors.
Since 2014, City Harvest has been working to solve food poverty and food waste across London. Every week, the charity rescues over 100 tonnes of surplus food from the food industry. Staff and volunteers sort and package this food, and our vans deliver it, free of charge, six days per week to over 375 community partners across 30 London boroughs. The organisation provides over 1.1 million meals monthly, with 43% of their deliveries made up of fresh fruit and vegetables.
The role of Trusts and Foundations Manager will work with the Senior Trusts and Foundations Manager to deliver City Harvest’s ambitious targets for trust and foundations income in 2024/25 and beyond. The post-holder will be responsible for proactively researching and exploring new avenues for funding and building a strong pipeline of new donors who have the potential to support the charity.
Key to the post, will be building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders at trusts and foundations and preparing and delivering targeted funding applications to those organisations. Working with the Trusts and Foundations Manager, the post will also involve developing an compelling organisational case for support and a range of highly fundable initiatives for City Harvest.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience working in this area for at least two different causes, alongside a proven track record of successful income generation and delivering against targets.
