We're setting up a new youth charity called REMIX and looking for volunteers to join us in the role of Graphic Designer who can help us get REMIX set up by designing some much needed branded designs that will help get us on our way to success.

REMIX aims to be a dynamic youth-focused charity passionate and committed to empowering young people from deprived areas and disadvantaged backgrounds across London and beyond by creating opportunities and experiences that address the holistic needs of young people, that EMPOWER young people and INSPIRE change that puts them on a path to TRANSFORM their lives for the better. Our evidence-based programmes will focus on developing essential life skills, fostering healthy lifestyles, and unlocking personal growth by experienced and dedicated positive role models in a safe and non judgemental environment, helping young people discover themselves and the world around them.

We're looking for volunteer Graphic Designer:

The Graphic Designer will play a crucial role in helping REMIX get recognised, build momentum and excitement for our new youth charity in London, creating some visually appealing content.

We need your help in any or all of the following designs;

1. Vibrant Social Media Posts that captivate our audience on Instagram and beyond.
2. Impactful Posters that commands attention both online and in the physical world.
3. Engaging Roller Banners to be our visual ambassador at local events.
4. Professional Business Stationery that establish our identity with sleek, branded materials such as business cards, letterhead, etc.
5. Informative Welcome Booklets to introduce REMIX with flair and clarity.
6. Dynamic Graphics to propel our cause with motion graphics, telling our story and so much more.

REMIX

We address the inequality of education, the digital divide, promote inclusion and responsible consumption and production across Nigeria. Adesso is an Italian word for “now”, and this project serves as a call to action, asking us to act now because the future is now, the time to act is now, and the digital age is now. If indeed we want to build an inclusive and sustainable world, digital inclusion has to be at the forefront of our endeavours.

Project Adesso aims to address the quality of education, digital divide, promote inclusion and responsible consumption and production. The project will engage with various stakeholders and organisations to carry out their corporate social responsibilities through the project such as donating their old but functioning laptops and crowdfunding.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

• Design graphic materials, create content for social media, develop our corporate visual identity, and collaborate with our creative team.

• Volunteer 2-3 hours per week for 3-5 months

We provide mental health support to the underserved and underprivileged community. We aim to provide safe spaces for all, breaking barriers in mental health and advocate for Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion. We are also working to train future generations along with eradicate stigma in behavioral health.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

• Making appealing materials, including information on what we do, what we charge and how to sign up for services with purposes of getting traffic and getting clients.
• Volunteer 2-3 hours per week for 1-2 months.

You will be working alongside a small team including our founder and operations team, creating compelling digital assets and resources, including: 

- teaching resources

- teaching equipment

- social media content

- stories and much more

IHF is currently seeking pro-bono Graphic Design Firms and Individual At-Home Volunteers for our Graphic Design Team.

GRAPHIC DESIGN FIRMS and INDIVIDUALS will collaborate directly with the Director of Fundraising and Marketing. IHF materials are marketed towards multiple geographies, both locally in the communities we work with and on a global platform. 

An At-Home volunteer in this position will:

- Assist our Media Team in visual editing of content for social media platforms or website design. 

- Develop materials for our Fundraising Team such as posters, flyers, infographics etc.

- Create original volunteer recruitment campaign materials

IHF will provide all the necessary background and support for you to be successful in this position.

Video editing experience (specifically Adobe Premiere Pro) is a plus though not required.
